Used this to hang surge protectors with 5-6 plugs plugged into it under my desk. Holds great.

1 star. Wouldn't stick to a wooden magnetic knife block. Used isopropyl alchohol to prep the surface, no affect. Tried to remove the backing to adhere my workpiece and the tape was coming up at the corners with it, and was easy to remove the whole strip of tape from the knife block. Update: Changed rating from 1 star to 5 star. After letting the tape set up on my wooden magnetic knife block the corners still wanted to pull up when removing the backing, but the center of the tape was firmly attached. I mounted the wood block onto a wood panel in my RV and it's now holding my knives. The magnet is fairly strong, so it requires a fair amount of force to remove the knives, but the wooden block does not budge at all being held only with this tape! I did tape across the entire back of the knife block.

Used this tape to attach some solar lights to my retaining wall. Make no mistake and fear not........this stuff works flawlessly. Several months later and they are still securely in place. This despite heat, cold, rain, etc. if you need durable, weather resistant and strong double sided tape.......this fits the bill.

Awesome! I used this to mount a heavy-duty stainless steel magnetic knife strip in lieu of screws. It's so strong it won't even budge. Some of the other reviewers that said it didn't work for them must've missed the directions. It states, "any object to be mounted that has a depth of OVER .75" (3/4 inch) may not hold, because the center of gravity of the object and its weight will pull at the tape away from its surface. Makes sense.

Our plastic grocery bag holder fell off after a few weeks of use with the cheap adhesive strips that came with it. My wife went into a panic and wanted to abandon our home until I said, "I got this one." I placed two strips of this tape vertically down the back of the grocery holder and stuck it to the inside of our kitchen cabinet. My wife looked at me as though I had invented fire and life was good. It was days before we went grocery shopping and I realized I had put it on upside down. I tried to pull the grocery bag holder off the cabinet and I could tell I was in danger of damaging the cabinet door. Right about then my wife said, "whatcha doin?" I replied, "I think the guy who installed our cabinets put this door on upside down... but don't worry! I'll get that fixed right now!" The grocery bag holder is still stuck and I'm still a hero... 5 star victory all around.

I used this to attach something to the underside bumper of my car, and two weeks later I went back after it has been sitting in the rain, cold, and very hot temperatures, in addition to driving 80+ miles per hour on the interstate. After these two weeks of various conditions, I pulled down and the tape did not budge at all. This connection is absolutely one of the firmest I have ever seen from a double sided tape. Don't use this is a temporary and removable tool, it is meant to be permanent.

I used mounting tape to place my stainless steel magnet bars on the inside of my kitchen cabinets. When I bought the first magnet I bought the 30 lb. Gorilla tape. In total I mounted 3 16" bars with two strips of 30lb tape a little over kill one would have worked fine. When I ran out after 2 bars I thought they will have something at Lowes and got 30lb Scotch 3M bad idea. The Gorilla tape is thick and cushy which means it can take some mangling. It cuts clean so taking the 1/4" of tape off the bottom of the bar was easy. The only con is the backing is hard to get off but that means it stays on when you are putting the gorilla tape down. 3M backing came off and bubbled as I was placing the tape plus tape pulls and stretches which means it is hard to keep straight. Buy Gorilla not 3M. I apologize amazon for not ordering more Gorilla tape

I have an all brick game room and in case you haven't ever tried to mount pictures/shelves on brick, it is not easy.... Most of my items are between 15 and 40 lbs and this stuff holds it up great! I err on the side of caution and use more than it says I should. After having a couple fall off I decided more is better, especially because its fairly cheap. I don't think this would hold a large frame but has been great for 8X10's and some larger, light weight frames. I highly recommenced this product, specifically for hanging on brick.

1rst Quarter2017 I got this ones to install several Litom outdoor solar lights to my house which I did. Then CAT-5 Hurricane Maria Hit Puerto Rico really very hard with the force of an extintion level event for almost 19 consecutive hours. Maria in it's inner eye had 3 confirmed by NOAA tornados. Puerto Rico's Electric utility power grid collapsed completely. Let me tell you that I can rate the Gorilla's grip to almost 250MPH. I didn't lost one of my Solar Lights. I'm still amazed. Thank you Gorilla !!!. :P

At first, this stuff appears weak. I assure you it's not. Let it dry. It contracts as it dries. I used this on a reflector on my car. The glue holding the piece on lost it's hold, so I put this in its place. At first, it looked like it didn't work. A few days later, I looked again and it was nearly flush with the car (it was previously about 1/4 of an inch inward). So, over the course of a few days, this stuff either got stronger, or the hot Texas sun did some magic. Regardless, at the end of the day, I'm happy with the result even if it did take me by surprise because it looked like it wasn't going to work. Now, when I press against the reflector, it's very strong. Mission accomplished. Just give it some time.
