DIY dehumidifier, excellent!

Using for diy damp rid in an extremely humid house, working very well!!! Better and much cheaper than damp rid. I'm assuming that it will work well on ice considering how quickly it dries up with cold water. HUGE bag, so I'll have some to try in winter. UPDATE-Jan 2016: HUGE winter storm with snow and lots of ice....this stuff worked amazingly well and fast too!

great for driveways and walkways

works great especially when applied before the snow falls. leaves no residue and spreads easily. Once snow falls it makes shoveling so much easier.

Melt your worries!

I ordered this before our first big winter storm. Great to have it delivered and not have to lug it around. It works great and I don't worry that we will be stuck when the stores are all out locally due to a coming storm. Love that it works up to 24 hours and down -25 Degree fahrenheit!

It's Snow Joe..That should say it all but if not then I will. This stuff cuts the ice and snow very well, while it probably is'nt gods gift to snow clearing it is in the top 5 for sure. That said, I wipe my dog's feet with a wet towelette when she comes in from walking through it since I don't want to find out if it will bug her or not.

Lazy person’s secret ice weapon

First of all, it comes packaged well, in a plastic covering that you can actually keep it in without breaking. You don’t need a ton and this stuff works like none other. It burns through caked on ice. I’ve used the snow joe pellets to help loosen the tires frozen in a drift. It makes snow clearing super easy and effective for a lazy person that hates putting in multiple passes on the 150’ of sidewalk on my corner property. I start ordering it in October so it never runs out.

I use this for increasing calcium in my pool

This is the same thing that pool stores sell to raise calcium levels in swimming pools, but this is significantly less expensive. It also melts snow and Ice in the winter.

Excellent desiccant refill alternative!

I was tipped off to this product as a great alternative pricewise to desiccant replacement and sure enough it worked awesome! Here in the Pacific Northwest we get a lot of rain and dampness, killing the interiors of vehicles and RV's left parked for long periods. I was very impressed at how much water was collected into the tub basins.

Life hack!

I bought this to use as bulk Damp Rid and it works, but has a slightly farty smell... just in case anyone else was thinking of misusing it in the same way I did... ;)
