An idea whose time has come

These stickers are awesome. I like that they're black and white- not colored- and that they are placed at the top of the keys between the black keys, so they are not quite as distracting or 'in your face' as they'd be on the bottom of the keys where you strike them with your fingers. I sing the bass part in a women's barbershop chorus and the bass clef is still less familiar to me than the treble. I still sometimes mentally zip through the nemonics as I'm learning the music. (Good Boys Deserve Fun Always for the lines and All Cows Eat Grass for the spaces) Not always being immediately familiar with the notes slows me down. I think that while I play the notes from the sheet music and actually see how they're positioned on the staff it will all get coordinated in my brain and maybe I'll actually learn to sight-read!

Great stickers

Stickers were great! I'm a piano teacher and decided to try them out. I stuck them on my piano keys and hates it, BUT they peeled off nicely and restuck perfectly above the keys on and around the name plate, really helping my students! Some of them peeled off a tip of the neighboring letter and the company I got them from seems nice, I'm sure they would've replaced them if I was unhappy, but I didn't care, I used my scissors and fixed them faster than if I'd waited for shipping :)

A good addition to the beginner's arsenal

While not a "must-have" piano key stickers assist the beginning piano player in their quest to get better, though some may argue they encourage bad habits and discourage rote memorization. I took piano lessons as a child and you learned it the hard way or you got your knuckles rapped. I got these for my daughter, and she likes them. These stickers are good quality, and the wooden stick aids greatly in their application (I elected to use a clay carving tool that I have), but what I found works even better was using a long pencil with the eraser end to push down and secure the sticker in place once I had it lined up on the keys. That greatly increased the accuracy and speed with which i applied all 88 stickers. Following the directions, and getting the treble and bass clefs correct goes without question.

Great stickers but read the instructions a few times

I bought my son a Yamaha keyboard for Christmas and since he's a beginner, I thought these would be a great addition to his learning. When you get this, STOP, and read the directions. I am somewhat familiar with reading music but I learned that I have no idea what the treble and bass keys are through this process. It's very easy to put them on wrong if you're not paying attention and read the directions. You have to know how many keys your piano has, then find middle C. Once you find middle C, you work to the right from there, then on the last two lines of stickers, you put them on to the left of middle C. While this was a little time consuming and mind boggling at first, it was worth the effort to take my time and understand what I was doing. The stickers look great on the piano and haven't come off. This will make it a lot easier for my son to learn.

Very Helpful for a Beginner

I recently decided to pursue a life-long dream of playing the piano but knew I might have some challenges now that my brain has decided it’s too old to remember where I left my coffee much less learning keys and musical notes, so I was happy to see someone had invited these. Being that I’m an adult AND that I didn’t want my new beautiful keyboard looking like a hot mess, I chose these because they looked clean and having them mounted on the upper part of the keys made sense because if they were low, your fingers would be covering them. They came with a placement chart and a little wooden stick to hep mount them. They were easy to apply even if one starts a bit crooked you can use the stick to lift it and re-apply. They are well made, and have the letter of the note as well as showing the note placement on the Staff. If I decide to remove them someday it doesn’t appear like they would leave a sticky mess. I highly recommend these for every age. If you want to learn something why not use the tools available to make things easier? Less frustration when learning something new will go a long way to help you feel good about what you are doing.

Exactly what I needed!

This is exactly what I needed. As an adult with a short (and ancient) history of piano, I was taught to focus on the notes, so most aids do me no good. And my grandmother would say this is the ONLY way to learn music...so these stickers are perfect because they show the notes. I'm picking up piano again much more quickly as a result. High quality, quick shipment, can't say enough about them. Clever to have an application stick, too. A++++

The stickers arrived quickly and in good condition. I purchased these over others that were available because in addition to the name of the note, it had an illustration of where the note will be when you're reading music. I think that's a huge benefit to those just learning.

Perfect!

I love these. Bought them to replace a 20 year old, incomplete set on an old piano of ours. Exactly what I was looking for. Provides a full set with additional stickers to just identify the letter notes for say an 88 key piano, which is what we have. I didn't use the additional stickers because I simply don't need them right now. The free ebook was actually quite refreshing for me because I homeschool and have little kids so the basic songs like Happy Birthday, Old McDonald, Twinkle Twinkle, The Alphabet Song and many others works out super! Very basic but fun for the littles and nice and easy for me to play, I haven't played in many years. I also like the chords pages, to practice the chords. So in this case, the free ebook was quite a nice little addition to the stickers! Love love love.

I bought QMG piano note sticker for my 61 key keyboard. The sheet came with a instructions sheet and a wood stick which can be used for easy placement to the keyboard(see the pictures I attached). First you need to stick the sticker to the wood stick as shown in my pictures then to the keyboard. This way you can align them nicely and save your time too. My daughter love the songs in the shook and they are great for a kid like my daughter. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase

Best piano note stickers you will find!

These are fantastic! Best note stickers I have seen or used. The placement on the upper part of the keys makes them very easy to use while trying to follow sheet music (your fingers don't cover them when they are on the keys). I especially love how it shows the note on the staff rather than just the letter of the note, very great for learning and memorizing the notes on the staff and associating it with the proper key on the paino. I would recommend this to anyone. Great learning tool and my kids enjoy the piano more now too. They find the sheet music isn't as intimidating and they are playing simple songs with these. We loved the free e-book as well, I've already mastered a couple of the songs in it. Thanks!
