Well i got these as i had a couple very old 1960 guitars past down to me and wanted to keep them away from the ground and looking good on the wall. The arrive in a small box and now when i took them out of the box the build quality is great. They feel superb and nice and smooth no rough edges. For installation it was very very simple i marked the wall and then i ended up just using my own wood screws as they were longer and i was mounting to studs in my basement wall in entertainment room.Found the stud marked and then put 2 screws in and that was it,did same to the other one,We are using 1 on each side of the door. The feel of these are great and i hung the 1 guitar up and it holds it perfect and looks good. The other guitar is getting cleaned up at the moment but im sure it will look just as good. Im very happy with these, The look feel, build quality and price.

They are easy to install and really allow you to save room. Also they look really nice and the wood that is used is a great finishing touch. Both hangers hang flush to the wall, the guitar holders will not scratch your guitar at all, and they are very secure once the guitar is hanging. If you you are looking for an easy way to make more room or give your room a quick face lift this will do the trick. Your wall will look cool with the hanging instruments.

3 or 4 if it was more expensive. Comes with mediocre drywall anchors, base should be countersunk to make room for drywall anchor heads so it is able to sit flush on wall. In picture showing wall gap top screw HAS anchor, bottom screw is driven straight into drywall so it sits flush, not the proper way to do it. Recommend a 5/16 bit for drywall anchor. A very large Phillips head bit is necessary to drive drywall anchor in. A large flat head will also work in a pinch. Keeps my Yamaha Fg700S completely off the wall. Hooks are padded adequately with a silicone feeling padding. Hook base area works well for keeping tuner off head while not using.

Great price, quality product, easy to install with a drill and screw driver. Everything else you need comes included. It took me 15-minutes to install both and now my hanging guitars look like art pieces on my wall - this was an unexpected benefit.

Amazing hangers! They work with most of my instruments. Easy to install and are pretty durable.

These hangers are well worth the money! They’re simple, easily installed; and come with all the anchors and screws you need. Plus, they’re not hard on the eyes. The runner stops work well. I should’ve ordered these long ago.

I bought a two pack of these to hang my two heaviest guitars, a Fender Strat and Telecaster. The hardest part of installing them was finding a stud behind the drywall and making sure the hanger was mounted straight. I live in an apartment where there's a thick layer of paint on all the walls making it hard to find a stud but I was lucky enough to spot them. In case you can't they provide plastic reinforcement screws so you can hang these right on plain drywall. The wood color is gorgeous and matches nicely with any guitar (acoustics, maple and rosewood fretboards, etc. ). I was surprised by how sturdy these are when mounted. I wouldn't try to do a pull-up on them but they're more than sturdy enough to hold most solid body electric guitars. As far as acoustics go, these are way more than enough to hold even the heaviest of hollow bodied guitars. I've always used ground based guitar stands but living in a small apartment, space gets tight quick so not only do these hangers give you back more floor space but they actually make your guitars looks even more beautiful when hung on a wall. The hangers themselves swivel slightly so if you have a Fender style headstock that's asymmetrical the hanger will turn to account for it and you'll have a perfectly vertical guitar on your wall. Pro tip: secure the hanging arm (middle screw) securely but not to the point where it won't move. You'll need a little swivel depending on your guitar's headstock to make it aligned vertically. The rubber guards are adjustable and guard against an accidental bump dislodging the guitar and having it fall to the ground. I like them and wouldn't recommend taking them off. The one thing I have a slight issue with is that you have to sort of wriggle your guitar out of the U-shaped holder just right so that the rubber guards don't accidentally snag a string. Most times they do snag my high E string slightly and I use 9's on my electrics so I was afraid of string breakage. In the end though I don't think it's an issue worth worrying about. You get used to it and pulling out a guitar without snagging strings above the nut becomes muscle memory. Overall I'm in love with these and I want to get one more of these. They're priced so reasonably that I want to get another to hang my third and final guitar, an acoustic, on my wall with the others. One more thing. The hangers jut out from the wall just far enough to fit either a thin electric or a ticker body acoustic guitar. These hangers are practical, save space, are affordable, and make your guitars look way more beautiful than any guitar stand out there.

I have several of these guitar hangers from this and one other brand. They are basically the same thing, so I just go with whichever one is priced better at the time of purchase. These have the little round tabs on the fork as seen and the other brand doesn't. I usually take them off so all of mine look consistent. The guitar hangers install easily with 2 provided screws. They also come with drywall anchors which I have never needed even for electric guitars. I would suggest using them if you have very expensive guitars but the screws by themselves have never come out of any wall I have put them in. Once you get the 2 screws in the actual hanger just screws into the center hole by hand. Quick tip: You may have to turn the fork a tiny bit in order to raise one side or the other in order to get your guitar to sit straight.

I installed these in about 45 minutes (I'm a centering, measure twice kinda guy). Seem to work well. I have the upper hanger holding my six string Seagull and the bottom bracket holds a 13lb. Ibanez RGA series electric guitar. I'm attaching a photo of the tools I used. The small screwdriver was used as a hole punch, but an awl or ice pick would work. The screw holes in the hangers are too narrow to get a pencil point through. Worth the money. Oh, but if you go to the Ohuhu website you'll get a virus alert. Thanks Amazon for vetting your vendor's websites, not!

Drywall plugs are hard to get in. I needed to call my dad. This isn't the fault of the product but rather my own. I wasn't ready for the adventure that is putting drywall plugs in your wall for the first time. Maybe it's not an adventure for everyone, but it was for me. And now they're in and so are the guitar wall mounts. My guitars are off of the ground now which is great because that was the whole idea in the first place. My cats don't play my guitars anymore and I told them if they were serious about continuing I would get them one of their own and if they practiced and stuck with it we could talk about letting them play mine again. They just meowed at me.
