Best dual-monitor USB 3.0 docking station on the market
I have to say that this is the best dual-monitor USB 3.0 docking station out there that I can find, and I tested a bunch of them. It's a good price, it's reliable, and it's worked well with every brand and type of PC I've tried it with (which has been six different brands/models of Windows 10 laptops so far), including two different models of Microsoft SurfaceBook and various models of HP and Dell. I've bought six of these so far (between home and work needs) for myself, my family members, and people at my office, and it's been great every single time. Just be sure to get the updated DisplayLink software from the website, and update the DisplayLink software when new versions come out. That's got nothing to do with this product in particular, just that Microsoft's patches and updates have a history of breaking products that use DisplayLink chips.

Works with an Apple laptop
I began a job working g from home in the last few months. I purchased this hub so I could add a couple screens to my Apple laptop, as well as use a regular keyboard and mouse. It has not disappointed! Using this I am able to have three different displays going at the same time (one on the laptop and two in separate monitors). I also like that this provides extra USB ports since Apple took them all off their machines. This hub connects to your computer through a USB port. I did have to purchase a converter for the Apple laptop since Apple no longer has any USB ports on their machines. My personal laptop runabout on Windows, and I like that I can easily switch this over if I am using that machine. I highly recommend for anyone who is working from home and needs a better set up than just a laptop. And for the price, you will get your money's worth in productivity!

Works on Linux and works well.
I bought this after moving from Mac to Linux. I missed the Thunderbolt screen I had that had everything through one Thunderbolt plug. This did the trick. It's a great hub that has made my entire desktop setup a one-plug connection to my laptop. To those wondering if this works on Linux, it does. I am running Ubuntu and my laptop immediately recognized all of the USB ports, the Ethernet ports, and the audio ports. I was able to install the official DisplayLink driver for Linux and had the HDMI port up in minutes. This hub has my backup drive, my USB 3 keyboard + hub, wireless mouse, external monitor, and external speakers all hooked up to my laptop all working perfectly. Love it.

Works ok with linux
I have been using in with Ubuntu 18.10 on my HP Probook 450 (g4 I think). Work well enough with two sceptre 24 inch monitors. I have not used the rj45 port or the audio jack. The USB ports and the video work well. You have to install drivers from wavlink and that was very easy. I found that you have to let the device boot before turning on your computer. If the notebook goes into standby I find it is better to power off the device and power it back on before coming out of standby. All in all I like the device.

Very flexible docking station
The good thing is that the product does what it says it will do, however that was after figuring out which software drivers weer actually required. Wasted some time there but figured it out without contacting support. Driver instructions ere not sufficient and product was not plug and play as described. Once loaded there has been no hiccups in the performance of the product. It has been online for 2 weeks now .

Great product, fantastic customer service!
I bought this docking station almost two years ago and have used it pretty much daily since then. I've used it with Windows and Mac laptops. It's fantastic to be able to use an Ethernet connection with my laptops, plus having all my USB devices connected as well as a second monitor -- all connected to my computer through a single USB cord! I've moved twice since getting this docking station, and somewhere during my most recent move I lost the power cord. I contacted the company, and even though the warranty was well past the expiration date and of course didn't cover lost parts to begin with, they sent me a new power cord! That was so far above and beyond my expectations. I will be needing a second docking station for another computer soon, and I'll absolutely be purchasing a second one of these thanks to the exceptional level of customer service!

Great little dock
I use a laptop for my full-time computer and I have a Dell docking station at the office that I love. I have to take my computer home a couple of times a week but I have had to hook up all my devices to it so I ordered this dock for that reason. My wife works on a laptop at home on her desk, so I got her one as well so she could have a bigger monitor. This dock fits the bill perfectly. Now her laptop is on the table beside her desk and she has plenty of room for the monitor and full size keyboard. Mine is great too because I only have to plug in 1 cable (and my power cord). I recommend this dock.

Nice Docking Station for my multi- screen desktop
I am a computer engineer who write code everyday in work and at home for my personal project. As a programmer, I do need to set it up two screen desktop for my home. I got this docking station for my new multi screen desktop setup. It come with 4 USB 2.0 , 2 USB 3.0 port and one HDMI port. It powered by 12V AC input. It really easy to set it up for multi screen and work pretty good so far. The Ethernet port provide very high speed internet and USB 3.0 port have high speed data transfer rate based on my test.
