I got these to replace some other 75W equivalent LEDs that flickered with a new dimmer I got, Leviton Z-Wave smart dimmer. These do not flicker at all through all dimming levels. What works out to $7.50 a piece isn't a bad price either, which is on the cheaper end of the spectrum of prices I saw while shopping for recessed LEDs. The brightness lives up to its 75W equivalent claim. The 2700k warm color advertised is also accurate IMO. These were just as easy to install as most other recessed LED lights I've used before. The only one thing to note is that these lights require the dimmer to not be set too low to turn on. What I mean is, let's say my dimmer can go from 0 - 100, 0 being dimmest and 100 being brightest. I have 4 of these LEDs wired in parallel and the dimmer I use needs to be at least around 50 before any light appears. Other LEDs I've used with the same dimmer start showing light when the dimmer is as low as around 10. No big deal for me because I can adjust the range of my smart dimmer, i.e. set the range to 50 - 100 (there are non-smart dimmers that also allow you adjust the dimming range) The only couple VERY MINOR setbacks due to this behavior are 1) I have slightly less granular control of the brightness and 2) They might MARGINALLY use more electricity than other LEDs that allow me to dim lower. Overall I'm very pleased with these LEDs. I didn't expect much considering they're cheaper than most other ones I saw, but I'm not disappointed at all. The only question left is longevity, but even the cheapest LED bulbs I've used have not gone bad yet, but I'll come back and update if they prematurely die on me.

Excellent product and a breeze to install. Baffles are durable and can take some manhandling as you might find yourself fiddling with repositioning the springs. Consumption is half of what our old 26w CFLs were with more evenly distributed light. It's a nice bright white that isn't overpowering (despite what my pics may look like). Price is in line with most retail big box stores. And don't be afraid to utilize these in a ballast application. You simply need to test all of them by screwing into a standard medium lamp fixture and applying power. Once you've confirmed none are defective, cut off the E26 adapter ends, pull old baffles/reflectors, then remove the can housings (hopefully yours have screws holding them to the frame). Disconnect power, pop off the access cover to the wiring box and wire directly to the hot and neutral feeding the fixture box, disconnecting and bypassing the ballast wiring. There are no doubt numerous how-to videos out there to help with this. Bottom line is that you do not need to rip out and replace old CFL fixtures to utilize these. Black to black and white to white. Done.

This is a good quality LED light. I installed 15 of a different brand about 3 years ago, needed 3 more, but the company is no longer available. I researched and bought this based on reviews. It’s usually a coin flip with LED lights and it’s either a deal or a dud. This light is easy to install and lights up instantly when turned on. I installed 3 of these in my home office and connected them to a Lutron dimmer switch because I knew they would be very bright. The dimming feature works out great with no buzz on the low or high setting. I’m happy with the purchase. The only thing to know is that the mounting springs are made for standard deep recessed can lights. I have shallow light housings in my home, so I needed to trim the springs that slide into the housing with a pair of pliers. This way they will sit flush and not hit the top of the housing. I cut off maybe an inch and a half on either side. Not a problem as far as I’m concerned. I would rather get my pliers and trim the springs then to have an inferior light that the springs fit perfectly. I will be buying more.

Wonderful product worth every penny. Very affordable compared to big box stores. It can cost an arm and a leg to purchase 5000k lighting and these fit the bill for my wallet. But price point asside the look fantastic complete changes the look and feel of my entire house. I had originally purchased led lighting for my whole house when I installed all new lighting fixtures but I had to settle for 3000k lighting because I purchased it from a big box store and could not afford the better lighting. But it just looked to dingy and was not the look i hoped for. so I eventually found these and tried them out. Let's just say my entire house is now lit by these lights. Id recommend them to anyone. So don't hesitate. And if your someone looking for an even better deal i have also purchased these through Amazon warehouse deals which just means that the product package may have got damaged but the lighting or product inside is still in good condition and you get to save a little bit. I have not had any problems. And if there is you can return them and try again no big deal that's why I use Amazon for everything. I have provided a comparison picture. The left side is with the 3000k lighting and on the right is the 5000k Sunco lighting big difference much cleaner really brings out the colors of a room not that yellowish color.

I held off forever on buying these to replace the bulbs in my living room and kitchen. Part of it was wondering if 25 year old cans would accept these retrofits and if my old dimmer switch would operate OK. I watched a few videos on YouTube and decided to go for it. In about 60 minutes all 12 bulbs were replaced and the light is incredible. Super easy to install. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. Adjusting from the default 5” to 6” tension springs takes about 30 seconds per light. No issues with my ancient dimmer switch either. No buzzing. No hum. 2 of the lights did not turn on when I flipped the switch. In both cases the white wire had come out of the housing during install. Just pushed it back in and light works as it should. I plan on buying another 12 pack and retrofit the remaining 11 cans in our house. The 3000k brightness is perfect. Bright but not overwhelming.

Don’t think twice just buy. Did my whole house. I needed two (12) packs. Now my house is BRIGHT and so nice. Before you buy, check your current cans. Remove bulb. Pull down trim. If your trims go in with spring clips (Y-shaped wires) you got it made! That means your cans have C-Clips inside for those springs to go into. These Sunco trims work exactly the same. If your trims do not have C-clips then you have to buy aftermarket ones on Amazon. You won’t find them anywhere else. You need them only if your cans don’t have spring clip c-clips. If you have to buy c-clips you need two per can. You will need a 90-Deg drill attachment. I bought the $17 one from Dewalt on Amazon. Works awesome. I’ll be able to use it a lot in the future. Anyway - these LED trims are less expensive than what you can find in the big box stores and they are just GRAND. Awesome bright light. Love it. My whole house is alive with bright light. Think about this - I had 65w can lights and I replaced (24) of them with these 13w trims. I’m saving 1248w!!! That’s a huge savings and the light is so much better. Buy them. Do it. Do it. Joe

In our kitchen we have ten can lights that have been transformed over the years from original incandescent reflector bulbs to LED 65 watt equivalent bulbs to save energy. The problem was that the "can" lights were all outfitted with "eyeball" style holders which still looked dated regardless of what style bulbs I used. I purchased the Sunco LED conversion kits and am completely satisfied with the results. Replacing the old lamp holders with the new Sunco lamps could not have been easier. Everything needed was included in the kit, and the transformation from dated to modern fantastic lighting probably took less than two minutes per light. If you can change a light bulb, you certainly can upgrade your lighting to warm, natural looking LED dimmable lighting in minutes. Couldn't be happier.

Ordered 2 sets of 4 and received them yesterday. And within 10-15 minutes had replaced 6 of our old "hamburger warmer" ones. Everybody says it and I'm here to say it again...Super easy to install! I also bought this dimmer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00105PUP4/ - and installed it in about 10 minutes (if that long) as well. No buzzing from the dimmer and the lights are bright and look great. Turn on instantly and don't put off much heat. We probably have them set on the dimmer at/around 95% and the temp of each bulb is only about 80 degrees. Compared to the reading from our old 65 watt bulbs at close to 200 degrees each!

These lights exceeded my expectations in every way, I am very happy with them! If you are doing new installation of can lights in your house a setup like this is the cheaper route to go by a long shot. After your cans are installed in the ceiling you need trim and you need bulbs, at my local hardware store a diffuser trim like the ones that come on these lights costs about $15 per trim, and then a bulb is about $2, but with these lights you get trim and lights in one package for around $7 per can AND you get a seamless look. First, they are very bright, we installed 4 of these in our bedrooms (a 10x10 and a 10x12 room) and they make it as bright as it would be on a sunny day with the blinds open, the light these things put out is spectacular. We also have ceiling fans in these rooms and the 5000k lights match the 5000k light bulbs that are in the fan, so the color is true as well. These also install fairly easily, the spring on them are strong enough to hold them into place but easily bend so you can install them, I have installed many trims that have painfully strong springs, but these install very easily. I highly, highly recommend these lights for any new installations or for any retrofits.

These were a breeze to install. The light color is good (and I am picky about color quality of LEDs, many are not good), and they dim nicely. My wife loves the lack of gap between the bulb and trim, something that bothered her about the cans these replaced. I am now replacing all the cans in my house with these. I am thrilled these can be used in wet locations, the last holdout of incandescent / halogen bulbs in my house. NOTE OF ADVICE: I have been converting all my lights to LED for a few years now and my experience is not all products work well in all situations. I generally suggest if you are considering replacing any incandescent or halogen bulbs with LED, buy the smallest quantity you can to try in your environment first so you can find out how it performs. CRI is a good guide for color but other problems may come up - for example the LED bulbs I tried before these had good color (CRI was at least 90) but dimmed very unevenly with my Lutron Caseta dimmers. Other bulbs were not compatible with the dimmer and flickered horrible even at full power. These Sunco fixtures were much better in my situation but might have an issue in yours, so do experiment with a small sample before buying a lot of them.
