• Submerge probe into fish tank to measure water temperature (Submerge probe only, do not submerge thermometer in water)
  • Easy to apply suction cup and easy to read LCD screen. Please note that the thermometer reading has about 1 degree deviation.
  • Large, easy to read LCD display. Compact design for discrete use
  • Temperature range -50 degree Celsius~ + 70 degree Celsius; Operating temperature -10 degree Celsius~ +50 degree Celsius
  • Powered by one LR44 button cell (included)

Super easy. Attach the suction cup to the front glass (or wherever you want the thermometer) and hang the thermometer. Drop in the probe. Attach the probe to the glass. Done. Works. Push the button on the front and read the temp. Press the button for three seconds and it powers off. You can't ask for anything more. Does it look a little cheap? Yes, but I'll forgive that because it works perfectly. No more hunting through the tank looking for my floating glass thermometer! It's also much easier to read than the glass or stick on thermometers.

Just received it today.. Love it for my turtles.. it's accurate I tell you.. so far loving it.. It actually arrived in two days with my Prime membership.. Now my turtles can be warm and comfy just finished warming up their water from 68 šŸ˜Æ to 82 Fahrenheit and they are swimming like children's..

Very happy with this little gadget. I recently purchased a new heater for my fish tank, and I wanted to confirm that my old glass, floating thermometer was giving an accurate readout (it is). As for the Zacro, it comes with suction cups for mounting flexibility (the portion of the device with the screen cannot be submerged). The product comes with minimal instructions, but you really don't need any. I inserted the battery positive side up, per these instructions, and it immediately read the current room temperature. I have a tall tank, and I'll be curious to see if the temperature at the bottom, where my corydoras live, varies at all from the surface :) Time will tell, in terms of the product's long-term durability, but for now I am quite happy!

This is a handy little digital thermometer for an accurate temperature reading in your aquarium. I have mine in a 65 gallon community tank and it helped me with establishing the proper temp after I got a new Eheim heater that may or may not have to be calibrated to heat to the proper temp. I have checked this Zacro against a glass thermometer used in a chemistry lab at my job, and it is right on. It is within .5 to .7 of a degree of what I have the heater set to, but that can be attributed to water movement from air pumps, filters, etc. and the proximity of the Zacro's temp probe to the actual heater. As long as I am within a degree of my intended temp, I know I'm good to go. The Zacro can be mounted via suction cup to the glass surfaces of your tank and the probe has its own suction cup that can slide up or down the probe's wire so you can suction the probe inside the tank either high or low, whatever your preference. I turn mine on to check the temp periodically and then turn it off to save battery life. The Zacro itself is small and unobtrusive. I have mine mounted on the side and it is supplemented by a traditional aquarium thermometer. I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 25 years and can say that this small and very inexpensive piece of equipment is essential for keeping the temp where your fish need it to be for their own wellness. So go ahead and get one and you won't be disappointed.

I've only had this product less than 2 weeks but it's perfectly accurate, great product, and great price. I also had purchased thermometers styled like stickers but they are nowhere near as accurate as this digital thermometer. You only submerge the probe of this thermometer into the water along with a tiny section of the cord long enough to keep it right below water level. But do not place the entire unit inside aquariums, the bulk is meant to be placed on the outside. This item did not have any odor like chemicals or rubber on the parts, so that was great too. Very easy to move and reposition. I feel safe using this for my betta fish and so far trust the quality, as for bettas the water temp needs to be ideally around 75 to 80 degrees F for a healthy fish, and this helps greatly with monitoring at any time.

The thermometer's accuracy is between +/- 1 degree. It's far better than a glass thermometer, being that it's easier to read and even takes decimals into consideration. It seems like many people don't know how to power off this device and some people even drain their batteries from it, which is really their own fault for not reading the box as you should with any product. It specifically says, "To preserve battery life, press the PWR button for three seconds to power off or remove the battery. To power on, press once the PWR button".

Really easy to hook up. The turtle sometimes pulls the wire off the wall but she never bites it at least. If you have adventurous turtles, they might bite it. I've moved the wire behind her filter tubes so she now can't mess with it as much. I've also compared its temperature with a laser-guided temperature reader and they are always really close, so this digital thermometer is rather accurate.

I tested against other thermometers in my house and itā€™s definitely accurate. It does take a few seconds to change temps like if Iā€™m taking it out of my fish tank to test new water but I usually only wait 10 seconds tops. I picked this one because itā€™s small, easy to hide, digital, battery-powered, and can be turned on and off to save battery. When it comes to tank thermometers, this one is a steal. Would recommend!

These are great for knowing where your aquarium temperature lies. I have one of these units that measure .5 degrees higher than my other units. In addition to those inexpensive floating thermometers, I have a digital heater and a digital thermometer on each of my aquariums. I like knowing that I have three points of verification of water temperature. I also use a digital thermometer to determine water temperature when doing water changes. These digital thermometers are a great tool to have.

Works fantastic for my betta tank! Extremely user friendly, you don't need a super expensive model when this one is perfectly priced. I would recommend turning it off while you are not looking at the screen, for it is only run on batteries. That being said I have had mine for a few months now and have not had to change the factory batteries at all. It does come with a plastic cover over the screen and I have not had to take it off yet. (You may see its glare in the last photo.)
