I like the way it keeps the pieces from getting too scattered. I have not tried to roll it up yet but I can move it across the table and it works great.

I have cats. I don't think I need to explain any further why this item was purchased for our home. My husband and I enjoy doing puzzles but don't have the inclination to. Complete it in one sitting. This is great in a couple of different ways. The felt keeps the puzzle from sliding around on the table and keeps them on the table so the cats don't walk away with a piece. When you are done for the day, just roll the puzzle up around the included inflatable tube and secure with the velcro straps. Works great for us!

Highly recommended - easy storage - no aggravation

I love this mat for working puzzles. You really can roll up your work and move it when necessary then simply unroll it and get back to business quickly. You can even hang this in the included bag on a hanger and put it in the closet for the next rainy/wintery day. Too, this made it super easy to turn the puzzle over for using adhesive strips when completed.

This does exactly what you need it to do--let's you roll up your puzzle and clear the table when you need to. A couple of cons, but necessary cons: the felt fabric doesn't allow you to slide the puzzle pieces around at all which is good for keeping it in place when rolling it up, but makes it very difficult to actually put the puzzle together; also, you have to be careful when first rolling the plastic part against the puzzle because it doesn't hold them well at all. We used this for a 1500 piece puzzle and the size was fine for the puzzle itself. You're definitely not going to have room to lay out and sort all the pieces on the mat but you probably wouldn't want to due to the fabric being difficult to move the pieces on. We used edgeless cookie sheets to sort the different pieces and we put sections together on a regular tablecloth on the side before transferring them to the puzzle on the mat. It worked well. I will buy this again.

Must have

I live in a small place with two rowdy dogs and a baby, but I LOVE to do puzzles. In the past I would do puzzles in a poster board and store it in an extra room, but sometimes the puzzle broke apart and is lose pieces and storing it flat out took up so much room that I no longer have, so this was a must have! Now, I just set up a card table in my living room and do my puzzles on this mat when I feel like it and when I'm tired of puzzling it out I just roll it up out of the way and tuck it into the corner of a closet, put away the card table and boom I have all of my precious living room space back with no fear of it getting messed up! This mat also allows me to take as long as I want to complete a puzzle, because some days you just feel like doing something different, you know? Very happy, I wish I had gotten one a long time ago and I would have never suffered lost or chewed-up pieces.

Great Idea!

I didn't even know these were a thing! But I love it! I got this for my grandmother who does puzzles constantly. She lays out the mat and is able to switch between different puzzles if one is too hard or she wants to bring it over to one of our houses to work on with while she's here. It's easy to use, and has really come in handy. Great gift idea for any puzzle lover!

This is a great Puzzle Roll Mat

This is a great Puzzle Roll Mat. We were vacationing and were working on a 1000 piece puzzle. It wasn't finished when we had to pack up our gear and head home. We rolled up the Mat with the puzzle inside and took it home. It worked great! When we got home we unrolled it and continued our puzzle adventure and finished it. Phew!!!

Worth every penny

My wife and I like puzzling but two small children make it very difficult! Can't just leave the puzzle out anymore. This puzzle mat is awesome! It's very simple and easy to use. Rolls up your completed sections as well as your loose pieces. It's actually very nice not having a dedicated table or space just for puzzles.

great gift for puzzle people

My dad is a huge puzzle person! He does them nightly and works on them. This was great! It rolls it up, and helps keep it safe, also he loves it because it makes it so the pieces do not slide around. Great little roll for any puzzle lover! The only thing, you might have to straighten it out. Put 4 books in the corners, and lay it flat overnight, this will keep it in good conditon after the first use.
