Perfect for any snowplower

I read alot of reviews and watched many videos before buying this light and all i can say is wow. Bought one for my dad too. Has a sturdy heavy feel to it. For being made in china, this is a good quality light. I have an extended cab chevy and the cord length is long enough to hang from the door without being in the way of the passenger front seat. Selecter switch seems well made. Light is very bright and the options are endless. Once you find one u like, switching it on and off doesnt change your selected light pattern which is nice. Good buy. Cant wait to plow with it.

Great value and performance

I had doubts considering the price and the description of being for low speed vehicles traveling at under 45MPH. I drive on a USPS rural route and also for a personal vehicle, so I am frequently on highways with 75 MPH speed limits. When I received the item the base feet had gotten a little bent causing it to not sit flat on a flat surface. I used my hands to straighten them up and then installed on the roof of my Hondas CR-V. It isn't a flat roof and the feet were not sitting on a completely flat surface. Regardless, I have been at 80+ MPH during extremely windy/gusty days with 18 wheelers passing me head on and it has never moved an inch! I have even left it on the rooftop through a car wash! If you are concerned about it blowing off at regular highway speeds.... don't be! I have also driven through very heavy rains and have seen no signs of moisture inside the strobe. My regular carrier has a strobe that he paid several hundreds of dollars for. I don't know how long it will last, but so far, I am a very happy customer. I also really appreciate having a dedicated on/off switch that allows me to simply turn it on and off as needed, without having to cycle through to the strobe pattern I want. Don't really know how it could be better...

Great light

My wife uses this on her rural mail route and loves it. Other models that we tried had weaker magnets and did not sit securely on the roof. this one is very secure with its double magnets. It also has an on/off switch which is so much more convenient than having to unplug the light. It's very well made and sturdy and I expect it to last for years.

Customer service is perfect !!!

Cord length was too short for a nice insulation and not bright enough to use affectively in the daytime. I am updating my review to 5 stars ! For one the company reached out to me on my first review, we then proceeded to have multiple correspondence via email , offering me a free refund and replacement . They offered me a partial refund which I will put towards the purchase of a an additional light for the rear window . Because of all this I think this company will continue to move forward to offer good products and listen to their customers which they will use to make improvements . I recommend this company based on these facts . The light is performing exactly how they have said , at night time which I also use light performs wonderful . Having a full-size truck I think I just need some more lights which I look to purchase . Good luck to all !!

It's still new, but seems to work very nicely...

I bought this unit to replace a 3-year old unit that is very similar in look, function and design. The old unit worked very well, but showed signs of age and use, so I felt it was time to replace it. This new unit appears to be well designed and even a little better. It's probably 50% brighter than the old one and the light shows very well in a full 360º circle of light when you look at it from ANY angle. The old unit worked best ONLY when looking straight at the flasher. If you got to the side of the flasher, it was much less bright. I've only used it for 1 night so far, so I may update this review later. Pros: Very bright for the money. Brighter than my old similar unit. Better cost. My old unit sells for nearly $60, this one was only $45 (and you might find it cheaper if you look around.) Good magnetic contact to the roof. It should hold up well to freeway speeds as well as my old unit did. Offers many more flash patterns and will remember the last flash pattern used. Easy to use on/off switch and pattern select buttons. Appears to be water/rain proof. (Will update as I use it more. We are still getting a lot of rain.) Cons: My old unit had a curled cord. This one is straight. So I have to deal with extra cord that kind of gets in the way. The curled cord seems to work better for my needs. The rubber footings that protect the car roof from the metal magnets are a little thin. Much thinner than my old unit's rubber cups. I am afraid they might wear thru with use and age. (Time will tell.) But all in all, I am very pleased with this new flasher. The brightness is much better and I feel like I'm seen better when I need to use it for on sight lighting inspections late at night when I'm driving thru truck yards and I want to make sure I'm seen. For the price, I'm not sure you can find a much better flash unit. I will update as needed to report any new items of note. Update: I’ve had this unit for 2 years now. It still works like new and has suffered little for any wear. In fact, it sits on top of my car 24/7/365 ... much of the time out in the sun and/or elements. All without much, if any signs of wear or aging. It’s well worth the price.

OK you can stop looking at these things now. Just get this one. It just arrived and...well, let me put it like this....when is the last time you wanted to high five yourself for actually making a GREAT product purchase, one that exceeded your highest expectations? I wanted to give myself a big high five for this baby. Solid, sturdy, long cord, two strong magnets, and multiple-pattern lights that are bright & clear as what you see on official county trucks. If this doesn't get people's attention up on the top of your roof, it's hopeless. So just order the thing and be done with it. It rocks.

Great temporary warning light

I didn't really know what to expect after reading the reviews, but this is a quality light! I tested the magnet mount and it held at 80 mph. Yes, that is 80 mph & it didn't move. Not one bit. Just be sure the metal is clear of water, ice & debris. The lights are bright even in daylight. I like the option of several flash patterns. Overall, a great warning light.

Switch is good with power and pattern separated and it does remember ...

Very bright and handy, I put extra magnets on it to hold at highway speeds after it came off in a storm while i was doing 70mph. It is only rated for around 40-45 so impressed with that. I used for Roadwork over the summer and was more impressed with the visibility of this light than I was with a lot of the drivers on the road.

I am a rural carrier with USPS and couldn't be more satisfied with this light. No problems at all. Nice and bright during the day. Magnet is plenty strong enough for most speeds (haven't tested over 60 mph). On/off switch is nice so no need to unplug it.
