Supports my back just where I need it!

I bought a new office chair that was really pretty--unfortunately it didn't have much lumbar support. I really need it since I work from home and am often at my desk for 11 or more hours. I was having so much back pain that I couldn't stand it. I looked online and found great reviews for the ComfiLife cushion. It has been a lifesaver for me. NO MORE PAIN, even with my extra long days and sometimes poor posture on my part, it still supports me. Looks good too, though I wish it came in white.

It’s not often you receive a product that performs so well that it exceeds your expectations. I ordered it one evening and received it the next day. I found that my office chair was what was causing my lower back pain, so I browsed lumbar support back pillows and chose this one based on the many positive reviews. It is well made and has a definite quality feel. But back to exceeding my expectations — the moment I sat in my chair with the ComfiLife lumbar support pillow, my back felt better! I did not expect such an immediate response. Last week when I would get out of my chair, my lower back would “catch”, and I’d have to pause and hold onto my desk, then slowly straighten up. Today I didn’t have to think twice about just standing up. Full disclosure, I’m 68 years old and started having back pain three weeks ago. I sit at a computer 8-10 hours a day. The ComfiLife Lumbar Support Pillow was an early Christmas present. The recipient had been in a car accident a couple of years ago and still has residue discomfort. She has a desk job and is at her desk several hours a day. She instantly loved the pillow. She had been using a cushion of sorts. She certainly liked the strap on the back of the pillow which slips over the back of a chair to hold the pillow in place. The cushion she had been using had no strap and was constantly "moving" and needed to be repositioned. I will update this review in a few weeks.

So good I bought 2!

Wow! I bought this after going home with back pain from my office job and didn't think it would be that life changing but I was wrong!! I bought this originally for my office chair and then knew I was going on a short road trip and thought I would try it for my car and it was awesome! So needless to say I bought a 2nd one so I never have to sit again without it! The pillow has a strap so you could wrap it around your chair so you don't need to readjust it each time you get up and if you want it higher or lower it's great. BUY IT!

Very comfortable/Helps alleviate low back pain while sitting.

I have just had this lumbar support pillow a few days but I like it very much. At first I thought that it looked like it was a bit to thick. However it conforms to your back nicely and is very comfortable. It appears to be very well made and has a ventilating panel next to your back. It was well packaged and arrived very quickly. It comes with a strap for attaching it to a chair of car seat but I have not uses the strap yet. I am currently using this in my recliner but I may buy another for my computer chair. I suffer from low back pain and this seems to give me added comfort while sitting. I would not hesitate to recommend this product or this vendor to a friend.

I have several issues with my back, two herniated disks, scoliosis and a twisted hip, it's a mess in there. On top of everything I injured my tailbone last summer. Comfilife coccyx cushion has been a life saver to alleviate sitting pain after the injury and I am pretty happy with the quality of their products & customer service so I jumped on it when I saw they also make a lumbar pillow. Best decision ever. I am now using my memory foam seat cushion with the lumbar pillow, they perfectly complete each other and transformed my old office chair into a premium orthopedic chair sold in ergonomic furniture stores. The lumbar pillow supports my posture and the seat cushion relieves sitting pain. I don't think I can ever go back to sitting long hours without these two. The Goldilocks of Lumbar Pillows

I have tried several of these lumbar pillows and this ComfiLife has been the best. Ironically the worst lumbar pillow I tried was more than double the price of this product but it was hard as a rock and by far the most uncomfortable one of them all (and did nothing to relieve back pain; actually made it worse). What is difficult to find in these lumbar pillows is the right balance between firm and soft. For me this product hit the sweet spot. For a firmness scale where 0 = jello and 10 = concrete; I would put this squarely at a "5". In other words I found it to be just right and the fact that it is competitively priced makes it a big winner. Most importantly I can say without reservation that this product actually seems to have decreased the amount of back pain that I have (I use it with a desk chair). I cannot say that it has completely relieved my back pain but I do not think there are any products that can do that for people with chronic back issues. Full Disclosure: I did not get this product at a discount or receive it for free. I wish companies would stop doing this but apparently everyone is playing this game now. When was the last time you saw a 2 or 1 star rating from someone who got the product for free? I have yet to see it once but I do see many products littered with 5 star ratings from people who got it for free. I'm sure it is just a coincidence (/sarcasm).

This is just what I have been searching for. Once I got the little rascal positioned just right on my car seat, it instantaneously offered lumbar relief. I’d tried all kinds of cushions and supports,but the configuration of the seat made my back feel like I was hunching over—because I was! Bucket seats are awful for back alignment. Also, it doesn’t become hard as a rock, as some cushions did, in freezing temps. It can get cold here in WI, but the seat retains its firm but pliable support.

Makes driving much more comfortable

My chiropractor recommended getting a lumbar support pillow for my sciatica. This has been an instant relief on long commutes with great support for my lower back and less slouching. It is bigger than I expected, I'm a large person and it fits my back perfectly when driving. It helped me sit straighter right away and I feel less sciatica pain as well as less neck pain. Perfect support softness & firmness. I also like that the cover can be removed to wash. It has an elegant dark gray color exactly as in the picture. I highly recommend this.

Very comfy

I bought 2. One as a get well gift for a friend who had back surgery. Before the surgery she was uncomfortable in any chair. I had back surgery 18 months ago and had the same problem. We had both found our chairs were not fitting us properly. I had purchased another back support pillow (harder version) when my back was really bad and found it helped a lot. Even tho I told her to get one, she didn't. So this was the opportune time to buy it for her. I was skeptical since I am not a fan of squishy foam stuff. But we are both very happy with our new support pillows. She now knows what a difference it can make. And I like that the cover is washable, my last one did not have that. We both would have preferred a beige color to go with our decor but hey, comfort is more important than color.
