Works as it should but

Update!! I'm updating this post because customer service is excellent, they went above and beyond to send me a product I would be satisfied with! They contacted me theirselves and sent me a unit with a screw in it that works amazingly well!! I will leave my original review up because it still stands about this product in particular and like it says, if you'll be using it a ton then find one of their products with a screw that secures it to the outlet. It does work and having usb ports on an outlet is convenient. There are a couple of things that could be improved however. The usb ports and plug-ins seem to be pretty tight fitting, I have to use much more force to plug something in than I would in a normal outlet...same for removal as well. It would be amazing if there was a screw in the middle to secure to the wall because I pull the entire unit out of the wall when I try to remove a plug or usb which is the biggest downfall, imo. Update: I've decided to return this item. It comes out of the wall every time we unplug anything, even a usb. It's super irritating. There is no way to secure it to the wall. We've tried it over a plug cover and without a plug cover. Same result both ways. IF you're using this and have things that will stayed plugged in and don't have to unplug often then it will probably be ok for you. It's not for us though, we use the plugs often..multiple times a day. If they'd put a screw hole in the middle to secure it it would be a great item for us!!

Great product!

Great buy vs. $25 built-in from the box stores. Wired in a built in unit for my friend before discovering this on Amazon. Easy mount, looks great, and best of all it's easily transportable. Great for when you go out of town. No need to take along multiple charge adapters, just unplug, throw in bag and go! A+

Works Perfect.....

This works very well. I put it in my guest bedroom so when my family comes to visit they recharge all their phones/tablets etc and not need to unplug the lamp etc.....I gave the second one to my daughter to use at her house...she loves it... (It came two to a pack)

Just what we needed - works and looks great

Simple to install (plug it in - doh!) and does exactly what I got it for. Located it at an outlet in our breakfast room over the counter that is the 'hub' of our home. Hardly a night goes by that it is not being used. I especially like the cradle on top as it keeps phones and tablets off the counter - which is a busy spot. Great design, great style, great at what it does. Looks like it belongs

Love at first sight online and loved it even more with first use!

I kind of loved this the moment i saw the listing. The fact that it was "deal of the day" made it even sweeter! I love that i can use the receptacle as well as charge devices at the same time. It's perfect for room that don't have enough receptacles to charge devices as well as plug in lamps and laptops---like my condo! Love at first sight online and loved it even more with first use!

Works great. Just bought another one.

Seems well-made, everything works as it should, and it's very convenient. I'm using it in standard American style three prong outlets and it grips quite well. Feels secure and stable with little to no wobble or chance of falling away in the middle of the night. The phone cradle works great and I don't lose any outlets. A good price considering it includes the USB chargers as well.

Great for travel.

I ended up ordering a second one as my daughter liked mine so much I left the first one with them. I like that there is room to plug in my lap top on the same outlet that allows phone charging. Apple plugs are rather large, this space does work. I will leave in my suitcase for those hotel rooms that have too few outlets.

Great space saver

Great space saver. I've bough two of these double packs. I have them installed in each bedroom and in the dining room where most of the charging takes place. Love that the USBs are 2.1 amps and quickly charge my electronics. They are not the prettiest things to have sticking out of your wall, but placed strategically I don't even notice them.

It is up off the counter

Bought this for a gift for my husband. He is on 24 hour call and needs to hear the ring, but he keeps it on the counter in the bathroom, so we don't hear the repeated ping of the all night e-mails. He now can put it up in the cradle without worrying that his phone will get accidently splashed.

Great outlet extender

This is a great outlet for those that want to add some USB ports without doing any actual wiring. You simply plug this in to your existing outlet and you're done. The plug was not a terribly tight fit into the outlet I needed to use it (the outlet's fault-not the product) so I added a strip of double sided tape to the underside to make sure it stays put while unplugging items. (I think it would be a nice improvement in the product to run a long screw through that replaces the screw holding the original outlet cover in place.)
