I tried my new Zizzili Basics tweezers for the first time this morning, and I'm impressed! Being kind of a 'tool guy', I could tell right away by the way they felt in the hand that they're well-made; they're spot-on at the point where the tips meet, and they work perfectly! The packaging was well thought out, with the fitted sleeve they come in, and an additional soft protective cap for the points. I'm going to get myself a second pair, and probably a couple more for gifts, actually. Besides the obvious uses such as removing wood splinters and the like, they'd be perfect for people that work on things such as ship models, electronic gear, watch repair, eyeglass repair.. basically anything where you need a tight, pinpoint grip on something REALLY small and hard to hang on to. As a first-time buyer, I give them five stars; and would recommend them to others without reservation.

Let me save you frustration and money - buy these first

These are absolutely the very best tweezers I have owned. Let me be brutally honest I am in an executive leadership role and past the double nickels in age and places that should not and had not been growing hair for the last 3 years have gone rogue, ears, nose, eyebrows, you get the picture. I have purchased 9 different tweezers over that time period not realizing there is a big difference in quality among this seemingly simple device. All claim to be the very best but there claims for me anyway have been lies and propaganda. So save yourself frustration and money and bypass the others thinking you are going to save a little and order a set. These babies here have been true to their claim plucking even the tiniest of hairs. Thanks Zizzili you have a fan in me.

Outstanding

The tip of many tweezers are too thick to grasp the most tiny hairs. These can get them. If I don't have a mirror handy--just feel a hair coming in--the slant tip style of tweezer is more effective at getting it, but it has to have a very keen edge. I have a Tweezerman and like it a lot, but decided to try these as well and find they are great and in a few cases even more effective.

Was just trying a few higher end tweezers. Got it right on the first try.

I saw all the crap reviews on all the higher end tweezers and thought, well they're only 10 bucks. I'll try the top 5 and see which one works best for me. So I ordered these first, and boom, headshot! They're so good that they pulled eyebrow hairs I couldn't even see. You know, those little blondies that are almost invisible unless you catch them in the right light? So it pulled them out, but there's one caveat. They're sharp. As in, they'll cut you if you're not careful. So just keep steady, pull the hair gently, and these suckers are better than birth control. Get a pair. Oh, one more thing - if Amazon ships it, they'll probably ship it SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Which is stupid for a pair of tweezers, but it happens. Make sure someone is home to sign for it.

Better than any drug store tweezers I've ever owned!

These tweezers certainly have some substance to them. They appear to be made of quality stainless steel, have an amazing spring/grasp to them that's great for grabbing super fine AND short hair (I'm using these for my eyebrows). I'm able to get the really fine hair above my eyebrows quickly and easily. The point on these tweezers is super sharp, which is great, but I'm so not used to that and have to be careful when tweezing to not grab my skin (because it really pinches!). Keeping that in mind, especially in the beginning for me, is a huge help. My eyebrows are done quickly, accurately and pretty painlessly with these tweezers. I love the little pouch holder they came in. They also have a small, soft rubber-like tip that can be kept and slipped on the bottom of the tweezers (it keeps them closed and protects the tip). It's so small, that I'm sure I'll end up losing it, but the pouch is a huge help in keeping them clean, as well as protecting the tip. If these hold up anything like my cheap tweezers did (several years!) I'll be happy. Small, family run company ~ contacted me to ensure I was happy. One or two emails, they don't inundate like other companies do, or hound you for reviews. Responding back personally as well. That's really nice for a change! Highly recommend these tweezers, from this company:)

Finally, tweezers that work

These tweezers just arrived so I raced to the mirror to see if they deserved all the praise. What a difference. Every hair was removed with one gentle tug - no more yanking three or four times before finally getting it right or abandoning the effort. I was somewhat hesitant because of the price but it seems this is what it costs these days to get a pair of tweezers that actually work on my hair. I've been struggling with an old drugstore pair for years and had basically given up on those nasty eyebrow hairs that occasionally forget to stop growing and stick out in all directions. The curl at the ends adds a special touch of the goof to my face. Or they did, anyway. They're all gone now, thanks to these tweezers. I really can not believe I'm gushing about tweezers. I am just that glad to no longer have eyebrow hairs I can tuck behind my ears.

Perfect Alignment, completely flush close

These tweezers are absolutely the best that I have ever purchased outside of the hospital. The tips meet and align perfectly, the metal is great quality, but thin enough at the tweezer tip that a single hair or very tiny speck can be grasped easily. I've cleaned them with alcohol on a cotton, but I'm sure that I could drop them in boiling water if I needed to. I am very happy with them. I'm an RN and The tips have a perfect flush used a lot of tweezes though the years, these are among the best.

Stand still, look in the mirror, find the hair, pluck in out. Perfection. Stray hair plucking is a self-involved pleasure, no aspect of which is worth it, if — the tweezers do not grab perfectly. With competitive standards, I attack the stray hairs on face, most notably my chin with hyper-vigilance daily, and if that sounds uncool or unhip I could care less. Stray hairs dislocate you, in their barest form they steal your confidence. Who needs a reminder that we face the unpleasant fact that we are barely ahead of our knuckle-dragging ancestors. Tweezers are one go-to item in the world of beauty, that when the are not perfect, they are completely unless and lead to total frustration in front of mirror when you're already facing a tireless fight to keep the age-moocher at a distance for one more day. Growing older doesn't have to be an impediment to a happy life. Overdosing on the fight to maintain beauty is a sure path from pleasure to suffering. Time is a river that flowers endlessly, but letting stray hairs grow endlessly leads to a goatee. Don't idolize beauty, idolize products that help us maintain our beauty. Comparison to tweezerman

This set of tweezers, definitely ranks up there for price and performance. Doesn't grab a 100% but definitely about 85-90% for sure. It's a lot better than the junk tweezerman $20 tweezers I bought for a comparison test and this one blew it out of the water %150 million percent. The high priced tweezerman wouldn't grab and is in my opinion equivalent to basic junk pot metal for pans and paper clips. I definitely would buy this type of tweezers any day. I'm a satisfied customer.

Precise tweezers

Very precise, feel like a solid product that will last. It feels good on hand thanks to the paint/coating. I’m writing this review in exchange for an additional product but no the less I am very happy with this purchase and I’ll definitely recommend this product to friends.
