The Tryone Gooseneck tablet mount is an incredibly versatile product. I ordered it in hopes of holding my Nintendo Switch with it so that I can play new video games while laying in bed. After having used the two of these we bought with our phones for the last week - my wife and I are incredibly pleased: to the point that I emailed the seller about the possibility of marketing this specifically for the Nintendo Switch. As you'll see in the picture I've attached, the mount is perfectly suited to hold the Switch tablet (based on this 1:1 3D model of the Nintendo Switch that I printed). Now, as to specifics about the mount: it's not flashy or anything, but it's of premium build quality. It almost takes muscle to move the arm when it has been set. I've had the mount twisted to every configuration imaginable whilst holding my phone and my iPad - it just doesn't budge at all. The arm is so strong and I'm not even sure how. The strength of the arm hasn't degraded at all despite strenuous testing and efforts to really push it to its malleable limits. I highly recommend this. I bought two of these and believe they're easily worth triple the asking price based on the experience I've had with them so far. This is pure luxury.

I recently ordered a Kindle HD Fire 10, and found it a bit heavy and difficult to handle playing games/reading/watching Netflix, in bed especially. So I thought I’d try this stand out. -The gooseneck is surprisingly strong and it holds even my heavy tablet without any slippage. -It features a kind of joint swivel so that, once in position, you can tilt your tablet to your preferred angle, or flip it side to side with ease. Love this. -the clamp part which connects to your furniture (or microphone stand which I also use it for) is easy on the hands. -That said, you should be careful of overtightening and stripping the threading. It seems like it was made to be easy on the hands, so pay attention not to go overboard with the tightening. -Easy to assemble. Just screw the tablet holder onto the end of the gooseneck, clamp onto something and you’re set. ***Verdict*** -Surpassed my expectations -Under $20, this thing does what it’s designed to do. The design is sensible, and it works in different capacities, holding my heavy tablet without slipping whatsoever.

Absolutely love these mounts. Initially I had reservations because I didn't plan to use these for what they are intended for. I am actually using them to hold up some satellite speakers (pics attached)...and they do that well. I drilled a hole in the back so that the wire could pass through and voila..speaker mounts. With that said..if this device can hold my speakers..then it won't have any problem holding a tablet. The articulating arm is so strong! I literally have to apply a considerable amount of pressure to bend it..which is exactly what I wanted. The clamps are plastic but hold up very well. I also like that there is a grip type material that prevents your device from sliding around. This device worked out extremely well for what I needed. I Highly recommend it!

____________________________________________Disclaimer______________________________________________________ First let me say that I purchased this item from amazon and was in no way compensated by this company for this review. I have had dealings with their customer support and it is for that reason that even with the short coming of this item, they have received a 5 star rating. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ok, so I have seen some of the criticisms of this stand/holder and they range from complaints about the plastic to the stiffness, and or bounciness of this item. First: yes, it has plastic, if you don't want plastic, find another product that is going to cost you much more and provide none of the flexibility of this product. Second: Is the flexible part stiff and hard to shape... yes... but if it were not so then it would sag every time you used it. Third: is it bouncy... yes.. what do you expect? it is an ADJUSTABLE arm that can be put into most any shape withing reason. How it is that people would expect anything different is beyond comprehension. Fourth: Does it break... yes... anything will break if you apply to much force or in the case of this stand, at the base where the clamp is. This apparently is not common sense so people need to be told to not be overly aggressive with something at its weakest point. Rant over! I have had it for a couple of months now and here is my take on it, It is a nice item to have and once I played with it for a bit I found a shape (spiral) that best suited my use. It is a bit springy which makes touch screen a bit of a pain but it also allows us to use it in unconventional places where a normal stand type would not work. I originally purchased it for my iPad, unfortunately, the clamp is not deep enough to hold my iPad [ http://a.co/d/6SAqD3G ] in its protective case [ http://a.co/d/4vSKCrf ] because in the back of the case is a hand strap and kickstand. I then decided to see if it would work for my wife's Surface pro, and it did, so it currently resides on the headboard of our bed on my wife's side where she mounts the surface pro so she can watch videos with here headphones on instead of turning on the TV. The weight of the surface pro is not an issue and there is no sag. I shaped the arm into a spiral shape and pressed the rings closely together to minimize the springiness of it. While not perfect, it works extremely well, all my wife does is hold one corner of the tablet while using the touch screen with the other. I eventually got a follow up message from this company in regards to the item and whether or not I am happy with it. I explained the issue with my ipad case but that my wife uses it for her surface pro. They quickly got back to me and offered to take the item back for a full refund since it did not meet my needs. Now for those that complain about this product, I have only one question, did you contact customer support? I understand that there are going to be problem units, but I also know that people will complain just to complain. I wholly support putting information out about a bad product and have done so on occasion myself but I always add that the issue I had is based on one unit that I received and may not reflect the product as a whole. I have no complaints about this product or this company, I have purchased two products from them and have yet to see any of the issues others have complained about. Maybe i'm lucky but I think that it has more to do with managing expectations and not abusing the products. I highly recommend this product for two reasons, first, it is actually a very good product that is durable as long as you are not heavy handed when using it. Two, they have taken a page out of the amazon customer service handbook and made it better. Their customer service is amazingly responsive, professional and courteous. I would and will buy from this company again because I know that if the product is not up to my standards then they are willing to make things right within reason. A big thumbs up for a very cool product and the amazing customer service rep Kevin that deserves a raise for dealing with a difficult person like me. I hope this review helped Oh yeah, one last thing, the clip (that holds your table or phone depending on which one you get) uses a very strong spring which is needed to hold things in place. It is made of plastic which keeps the weight down and keeps the arm from sagging, this plastic will eventually break if you allow it to snap shut when you remove you phone or tablet. If you don't want it to break then use a little common sense and don't allow it to snap closed, that should be a no brainer but from looking at some of the reviews, apparently it needs to be said out loud.

I've only had this for a short while but so far I like it! I've used it attached to my nightstand and I've used it attached to my counter in the kitchen while I cook. It's a super cool gadget! It is pretty difficult to bend into position but not impossible. I'm glad it's stiff though because I don't want it flopping down while I'm trying to watch my favorite shows! I've used this with my One plus 3T and my 8" Kindle Fire (as seen in the attached photo). I'd recommend this to anyone looking to have a handsfree video/movie viewing experience, or something that doesn't involve touching your device very much since the stand will make the screen jiggle up and down if you touch it. Not a crazy amount or anything but it's better left untouched for the most part.

This thing is GREAT! It is so much nicer than I expected especially for the price. I primarily use it for my Nintendo Switch and my iPad Pro (10.5 in). When I told my husband I had ordered it I knew he was thinking 'Oh great, another piece of junk that won't work or we won't use' (later he told me that was exactly what he was thinking, LOL) but he was super impressed with the quality and how convenient it is. The gooseneck is REALLY STRONG. So strong it's kind of hard to bend, but that is a good thing, because I know it's sturdy enough to hold my screens in pretty much any position I want without dropping them. I would suggest figuring out how you want to adjust it and bending it before you put your device in and before you actually clamp it to your furniture, etc. The part that holds the device is very sturdy yet easy to use with soft pads on each side to avoid damage to your device. It is attached to the gooseneck with a ball swivel thingy that makes it really easy to turn your screen in pretty much any direction. The base clamp is very strong, well made and very easy to use with soft, grippy pads on each side so you don't damage the surface you are clamping to. All in all, this stand is great and is exceeding all of my expectations and at a great price to boot!!!! (I am not getting any compensation in return for this review and I purchased it out of my own pocket, I just like this product that much)

I use my Amazon Fire HD 10 and my Nintendo Switch on it and it works great. I have a full sized bed and with the Gooseneck attached at one end of the bed frame, the length is never an issue no matter which side of the bed I’m on. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t sag much even when fully extended. The setup is simple and it doesn’t take much effort to move it around when getting it in place. This thing is literally the key to the ultimate lazy setup whether you’re lounging on your bed or cooking in the kitchen. There are so many use cases for this item and it could potentially be a decent alternative to a TV if paired with a good tablet. Definitely, give this one a try if you’re looking a bit more convenience in your life!

I purchased this to use in our travel trailer. I like to watch movies on my iPhone and iPad at night and got sick of propping them on a pillow. I didn't want to add anything permanent to the bed area that could possibly damage the walls. This product is perfect. It's very sturdy, clamps to my closet hardware or the lip of cabinet above the bed. I can easily adjust the arm so I can watch movies while resting on my side or back. I am ordering another one for the other side of our bed. My grandson has a new Nintendo and he sleeps on the bottom bunk. I think he would enjoy having this product as well.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had been wanting to play my Nintendo Switch in bed without having to hold up the entire console. This mount allows me to have the screen hover above my head while my arms and neck can relax. This is the ultimate in laziness and I love it. :)
