Do not use a heat gun with this to warm it up, gets too hot and will crack the plastic when it cools. Best to install in a warm area. Don’t install when cold, it does not stick good. Follow the directions and you will have a great look added to your vehicle.

Applied easily if you take your time. Bought 2 sets in case I screwed up, but now I have a couple spares. There are little bumps on the newer emblems but aren't noticeable unless you're 6 inches away. Great product

Don't waste $120 and hours of tearing apart your car to put new emblems on. This took me 20 mins to do two emblems and the end result is exactly what I wanted. The key is to take your time. First thing I did was put the sticker over the emblem and smoothed it out with my finger to expose the edge. Next I used a good hobby knife to slowly trim aaround the edge. Next slowly peel the film away leaving just what you trimmed. The next part is crucial. Use a heat gun (hair dryer would also probably work) and heat up the film. Don't heat it up too fast or overheat it because you could melt it. Smooth everything out with your finger and you're good to go! I cant comment on the longevity of the product but I will update this review if necessary. *UPDATE*-August 21, 2017 Been through many carwashes, rainstorms, and trips up north and it still looks as good as the day it was put on!

This has worked out great for me so far. Easy application and it looks awesome!. Just followed instructions and it was pretty easy. I started at one end of the emblem using a plastic putty knife for the edges and a credit card for the rest. Smoothed it out and using an exacto-knife ( A box cutter could work to but may require more patience and time) I cut along the edges and peeled it right off. So far it has shown no signs of coming off. I am careful though when I wash my car to not put the pressure washer or water hose directly on the emblem for to long or sometimes not at all. I think this may help extend the life of the sticker. Overall great purchase for adding a bit of aesthetic appeal to my car.

So ill try to report back on longevity down the road. Today I finally got around to installing the wraps on my 2013 Silverado Z71. I watched a few vids on the YouTube before I started. The 3m kit is really not needed but it's nice to have 2 extra stripes if you mess up (hard to do) or have as spares for other projects. All you need is a x-acto knife, heat gun on low and your fingers. I got both on in about 40 minutes. Most of that was spent turning the truck around to keep cover in the garage. I don't think you will be to disappointed in the out come. And it changed the look of the truck!!

Easy to apply and looks great!!! Did the front and back bowties and I'm extremely happy with the results. Patience was key for me but a steady hand also helps. Would recommend an exacto knife or similar for application. Attempted to do the emblem on the steering wheel but could not get a good result possibly due to the small size and tight corners. Was able to try a few times with the excess material but could always see a small amount of gold so I removed.

I just applied this vinyl overlay today so I can't comment on the longevity of this product yet. It was fairly easy to install, I would cation against pressing to hard on the texture portion of the bowtie because it will be visible. I recommend using a microfiber cloth to smooth out the texture portion of the bowtie and use a smooth thin piece of plastic like a credit card to smooth out the non textured edges. Follow the directions and heat the vinyl to do the final setting of the product. Most importantly take your time! I will update.

Awesome product!!! Took me about 40 min to complete front and back. Super easy. I used a blow dryer for the heat source and it worked perfectly. I used my nail to put small indent around the symbol so I could see where to make the cut. I used a brand new razor blade and it cut really easy. Totally transformed the look of my car. I forgot to take a before pic of front because I was so excited to put it on but I got before and after pic of the back.

This was really easy to install on my 2017 Silverado 3500. I was initially worried because the emblem was not smooth but was instead bumpy. This made me think the wrap wouldn't have good surface area to adhere to. However it seems to have worked very well, its only been a month or so since I put it on so it hasn't been through too much but I haven't noticed any tears or blemishes yet. I figure even if this lasts only a year before it either falls off or gets damaged, its still way cheaper to replace it again then to have bought the metal replacement bowties to begin with. For $8 and 15min a year its a way better value then the $100 to do both bow-ties the other way. It will take 10years before it would have been more cost effective to choose the other way, if it only lasts a year. Will definitely be putting these on my other chevy vehicles.

Product was exactly as described. Followed the instructions and went on my 2018 Chevy Equinox very nicely although it did take me two attempts. The first time I didn’t wait long enough for the Vinyl to cool so the cuts were not as clean as I wanted. Since it’s a textured emblem make sure not to use anything that will press directly into the creases. I found that applying it tightly, using my hand to press it on smoothly and adding heat was perfect.
