Exactly what I was told that I would get! Was it the greatest computer ever built? No. Was it an very very good computer for a very very low price? Yes. Yes it was. I got it as a Christmas present for my mom. I fits all of her computer needs; streams video just fine, smooth and quiet functioning, nothing bad. Wifi, wireless printing, noisiness, slow boot up and command response time were my worries. Not problems on any of those fronts. It is a more than adequate computer for someone who isn't gaming their way through the internet or doing 100,000 things at once. It works properly and came with everything that it was supposed at an extremely reasonable price, and that is what I wanted. Enough said.

This computer replaced a similar one that I had used almost constantly for many years. I was impressed by how carefully it was packaged and how easy it was to set up. The only problem I had with it was that the little USB WiFi gadget didn't work. I had the one from the old system and plugged it in and it worked fine. I like that an icon has been provided on my desktop that will allow me, should the need arise, to reset the operating system back to the way it was when I received it. I've used it for a couple of months now, and am pleased with it. .

I am so happy with my refurbished Dell tower. It replaced my chugging 11 year old relic E-machine Vista. It arrived 4 days after ordering, packed well and included a new keyboard and mouse, which was not expected at all. I did not receive instructions as some have, but even me, "old school" was able to put it side by side with the aging tower and figure out what went where! I was not able to use my original keyboard, as the portal thingy/ plug was not supported on new unit, so I was so happy they sent one. I did get the packing slip and a paper from Microsoft with product code and instructions. Love the Win10 and Dell, it is lightning fast, and has tons of pre installed things I will never use but I love everything about it and highly recommend buying it! I am retired and very budgeted income so this was the best way to upgrade for me. I only use my desktop for buying, selling, music and emails so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. My printer works with it, never missed a step I am back in business! I also purchased 3yr warranty. I did have a question I couldn't find poking around, and emailed first night I had it and in the morning I received a reply! I hope this helps in your decision making, I know the reviews helped me decide so I wanted to share my experience. enjoy each day : )

Bought this to replace a 9 year old Dell that was running Windows Vista, so it was time. I hesitated to get only a Core 2 Duo, since there are other faster ones, but after reading some of the reviews, and knowing that I only need to do basic web surfing, Facebook, word processing, spreadsheets and emails, I thought "how bad can it be for $103". I am so pleased with it. Took it out of the box, read the "READ THIS FIRST" sheet inside the box, hooked it up and turned it on. Registered the Windows 10 software and was up and running in about 20 minutes. This computer is SCREAMING FAST compared to the old one and I haven't had a single problem with it. Blair Technologies seems like a great seller and I had very fast shipping. I highly recommend this computer.

Came With Extras and had more storage than expected. Smooth. Smelled so Good that i opened the case and smelled everything. No Dust. Looks like it came from the factory. Well packaged. Highly Recommend. Also comes with keyboard in mouse. Doesnt say in description but it does. No Bluetooth tho :(. But it is wireless which is good. Personally Best of its Class.

I am extremely happy with the end result of my purchase with this seller. My refurbished Dell has been working beautifully for about a week now. It’s pretty fast, it stays cool and it’s quiet like a mouse. I’m comfortably able to do anything I feel like doing on this PC and haven’t run into any problems. It’s perfect! If for some strange reason you receive a defective computer, this seller’s tech support will be there to take care of you to make it right and have you up and running as quickly as you’ll allow them to. I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking to upgrade. I would also purchase another PC from them if I ever needed to.

This product arrived after three days of standard shipping, and I wasn't sure what to expect for a computer I just bought for around 90 bucks. Here's what I got: A computer-sized cardboard box. A Dell computer, as advertised, packed neatly within said box. A power cable. Two sheets of paper detailing warranty information and some information re: Blair Technology Group. A bunch of black foam packing rectangles. The computer itself is in excellent shape and arrived with a USB Wi-Fi adapter plugged into the back. Considering this model is most likely a retired office computer, I'm not surprised it doesn't have a Wi-Fi chip plugged into the motherboard. It would've relied solely on an ethernet cable in its previous life. This doesn't bother me, personally, and the USB receiver I got is pretty fast! The cable reaches far enough for most applications. There are some 'feet' on the side of the case, so you can stand it up or lay it down. After backing up files from my old machine, I plugged this thing in and it started right up - very quick! The setup process was much faster than I had anticipated - I couldn't take coffee breaks in between screens before the next thing was ready to go. A nice touch I've noticed is that the username on this computer was actually already set to my name. Checking the system tab revealed the specs are all as promised - except the hard drive I got is actually 256GB instead of 160GB. Can't complain about that! This computer is now my daily driver and I also use it for indie game development. Downloading Android Studio and updating the SDK is something that took hours on my old machine - getting it set up on this took less than thirty minutes, so the hard drive and USB Wi-Fi adapter are both exceptional performers. The hardware on this machine is pretty decent and could certainly be used for light gaming if you're into retro or indie titles. It can't run Forza 7 or anything super intensive, but Hyper Light Drifter, Iconoclasts and Saving Princess 1 and 2 all run with no hiccups whatsoever. Half-Life 2 runs great on this, too, so you're not too limited, just realize you won't be running Crysis on max settings. I read almost all of the 100+ reviews on this computer and I was sketched out at first, and noticed a few users claimed issues with their Windows 10 product key being no good. Fortunately I didn't run into that, Windows recognized my account and everything is sync'd up with no issues. Overall I'm very pleased with this, to say the least. What you get for $90-100 is a PC that runs Windows 10 with some respectable specs. If it burns my house down, you can expect me to be back here amending this with an angry rant on my smartphone, but for now, it was an excellent choice.

Well first off after many years of fixin' and doing everything that I could to keep my old Windows 7 Dell P.C. alive it finally crashed and burned in 2014. I had seen these Optiplex P.C's before and thought that I might go for it but at that time my daughter loaned me her Asus laptop to use in the "meantime". Here I was four years later still playing farmville 2 in slow motion on the laptop. I like the game and used to play it just to relax but having the page crash and freeze every time I turned around was just frustrating and I was about to just delete facebook altogether then I took one more look at Amazon and the Optiplex p.c. I was leary of Windows 10 but because of the price on these I just had to give it a go, the worse that could happen is it doesn't work and I can send it back and delete farmville, at best I would love it and and maybe upgrade by adding more memory to it. The P.C. arrived packaged nicely (looking brand spanking new) and way sooner than expected so I proceeded to set it up and take it for a spin. I was shocked at how quiet it was and how quickly it loaded. I started navigating around, first limiting Cortana and seeing what else I could tweak and then "Crash". I was like "Uh-Oh, and so it begins". I let it cool off a little (It didn't really feel hot but I thought maybe that was it) then attempted to turn it back on to no avail. I didn't panic though, just looked for another power cord (I have plenty of them) and plugged it in and I was back on the information Super highway faster than I'd ever been on before. Of course I had to test it out so off to Farmville 2 I went, and man was I impressed, where it used to take me an hour + to check on my critters, harvest or plant and water more crops AND check on and help my "neighbor's" it now takes me about 15-20 minutes tops to do all of that then I can get off of the internet and be productive for a few hours (that's IF I feel like being productive Lol) then come back a few hours later n take 20 minutes to check on my farm. I love this p.c. in fact I am fixin' to order another one to use as a "loaner" for my daughter who also loves it hehe. Oh by the way, Windows 10 isn't so bad, I am still having to download some of the programs that I had on my old p.c. but I am also finding that a lot of the programs I had are already installed on this or it already comes with a program that works way better than the one I had "Back in the day". So yes I highly recommend this p.c. in fact I say get em while they are hot but be sure and leave one for me coz my financial situation dictates that I've gotta wait a few days to order a second one.

Great machine. It exceeded my expectations. Arrived in good order and ready to run right out of the box. UPDATE: Since receiving it, I have added a new video card, an external drive, and beefed up the RAM. Most folks probably do not go into the case to tinker, but I bought this largely for that reason. I also wanted to see how I liked Windows 10 (I’m a Mac user). I can say that it was clearly fully refurbished and cared for. The machine is older, but the inside was spotless and clearly well-maintained / renewed. I currently have it running with two displays, and it’s a great machine to play with, and have the kids use.

EDIT 03/16/2019: I am updating this review (again) going from 1 star to 5 stars! After reaching out to SJ Computers, I spoke with a very helpful tech who did further troubleshooting of the power supply and concluded it failed. He then shipped out a new replacement power supply with 2 day delivery at no charge to me! Just finished installing the PSU and now I'm back in action! A BIG THANK YOU TO SJ COMPUTERS for your awesome support and help! Now THAT is exceptional customer service! EDIT: 5/30/2019: Replaced the DVD Rom drive that came with this computer with a CD/DVD/RW drive from my old computer and the 160GB drive with the 640GB drive from my old system. Putting Windows 10 on it was real easy now that Windows allows you to make a recovery drive on a USB flash stick. This system is real easy to replace components. Anybody can do it. Original Review below: Received the Dell Optiplex 780 computer today. It was very well packed and when I took it out of the box, I inspected the insides and it looked like it came fresh off the assembly line. Nice refurbishing job. Shipping was fast too. Powering it up for the first time, it took Windows 10 a LONG time to boot. But, that happens with any fresh install of Windows. It takes forever the first time you start it. After that, it doesn't take long at all to start. I expected that. Activating Windows 10 was pretty easy too, except trying to read the SMALL string of numbers and letters on the case sticker you need to enter during the activation process. I also expected that. But activation was a snap. Once I got the niceties of starting the computer for the first time and activating Windows 10, I got to see how it handles. It's a pretty speedy machine. Overall, much faster than the aging Acer Aspire that I am replacing this unit with. Seems very stable so far. And adding my external hard drive, webcam, and other accessories to the USB ports were a breeze. Overall, this is a great machine for the money. But, why not 5 stars instead of 4, you may ask? I'll tell you. 1st, the advertisement is for an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.9GHz Processor. When I checked the hardware, it was actually an Intel Core Quad CPU 2.66GHz Processor. Not a deal breaker, and no big deal to me, but I expect to have the CPU advertised, and not a slower one. That in of itself would not have knocked the star off the raiting. But the big thing that did was the CD/DVD drive. When I went to install the WIFI dongle, I had to install the drivers from the included CD. Fair enough. But, when I pushed the button to open the CD drive, the door was jammed! It was only after several atteempts that I gave it a thump with my hand, that it finally opened. And opening/closing it shows it jams more often than opening on it's own without a a thump to the case. If this system is 100% "refurbished", then someone screwed the pooch royally during QA testing. That drive should have been rejected during refurbishing outright. Now, I'm NOT saying don't buy this system. Outside of those two quirks, this is a very capable machine and Windows 10 runs smooth and quick, and overall setup is a breeze. Had this machine been given a 2.9 GHz processor and not a 2.6 GHZ, and not had the intermediate jamming of the CD/DVD drive door, this would have easily rated a 5 stars with me. Would I buy this machine again? Sure. But next time, I'll choose another seller who'll make sure the CPU is at advertised speed and with a CD/DVD door that doesn't jam.
