Okay.... I had a 10 month old who was already into EVERYTHING when it was time to bring out the Christmas Decor. I ordered this... and waited until it arrived before I put up my tree. BEST DECISION EVER! It is now blocking access to the fireplace. SAVE YOUR SANITY and get the gate. Quality. Value. Love This!

It is super important to have safe separation between babies and dogs, particularly once you baby starts crawling and pulling themselves up on objects. I absolutely love this gate because it the openings of the "mesh" are too small for more than a finger or two to get through. That means no pulling dog fur and no climbing out. The openings are also nice and smooth so you don't have to worry about your baby scratching their fingers while pulling up on the sides. This is also very light weight, but it stays in place really well so far with my ox of a baby (26lb 8mo). It's super easy to open the panels to get your baby without breaking your back, and it's quick to fold and carry from room to room. I also look forward to trying out the reversible "spikes" for outdoors. We use this on top of the Skip Hop foam mat (the one you can roll up) and the play pen is the perfect size so that he can't bump his head on the hardwood floors if he gets too ambitious with crawling or pulling up.

Oh my goodness this has been a lifesaver! My 8 month old just started to crawl. Enough said! Just kidding, but that does pretty much sum up why this play space from evenflo is so helpful for us now. Before purchasing, I searched and searched amazon comparing and contrasting all of the different options on the market for a play pen (we like to call it baby jail lol). Most appeared to be way too small for a baby to actually be able to move around and play in them. I chose this one because it seemed larger than any of the others I looked at, and because it has the ability to add an extension to it if it was too small. Well, it was the perfect size! This may change as the baby grows and needs to move around more, but I can either buy the extension for it or buy another one of these and get double the play space! It is relatively light weight, and easy to fold up or unfold. I actually fold it up every time I put him down for a nap because of how easy it is. It is definitely high quality plastic and is not flimsy in any way. I’m confident that when the baby starts to try to pull himself up on it, that it will be able to handle the added pressure no problem. I chose the cream color because it matches our tables in our living room. It’s actually the perfect color of cream, not too white, not too yellow. Overall, this play yard has been extremely helpful and I will probably buy another one or two for the grandparents houses. Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. My reviews are always my honest opinion and I try to include photos if possible. I'm just about to order a second one to fence off our high end computers. It's very useful in keeping the baby-gamer out of the equipment, and long enough to go from one wall to another to keep her out of our Blu-Rays as well. 10/10 would game again

Excellent play space for our giant baby! He's 10 months old and 26 pounds, he stands as tall as this gate, is cruising and banging around on the gate, and still can't get out. I see people have complained about it being lightweight and moveable, and yes if it was on carpet he would push it around but there are rubber pads on the feet and they hold fast on our hardwood floors. We even put down a rug under it so he has padding and he can't move it off the rug. To address it being built "like a ladder", yes the detail is ladder-like, but the holes are only big enough for his big toe. He could never use the side to climb, the spaces just aren't big enough. You'll want to watch putting any toys in here they can climb on though lol. The indivual gates are, in fact, one hand release and just as easy to snap back together. I only took off one star for ease of assemby because the thing is so big that when you're first trying to set it up you have to unfold it completely and it's so long it's pretty unweildy, but after you get it into the shape you want it it's perfect. We've used it as a gate as well as an enclosed space, and it's obviously sturdier as an enclosure but it'll do for a gate if it's what you have.

There are 8 pieces that form a "playground". Any two pieces can function indiviually. My main floor is an open floor plan. I can use two to close off the dining room and two to close off the kitchen, or 4 to close off the family room which leaves the kitchen family room together. Photo shows two pieces giving 9 week old puppy some privacy from 11 month old puppy while he eats. Yes, the big dog could break in, but he is trained to sit and stay. Even the puppy can move these pieces if they aren't strategically placed, but they are easy to manipulate to many uses. I don't know how I could deal with active puppy without this. Truly love it!

This is great. Yes it's light weight and if your baby is strong he/she will be able to move it or push it. That's the only downside. We fixed that problem by rolling up the edges of an old blanket. On the plus side it is a good size. Much bigger then I was thinking. It's light weight and easy to assemble.

Play yards are a safety must with little ones and this works wonderfully. I have a few different types of yards/gates around my house and this one is my favorite. It seems thicker and sturdier than the others. This seems to prevent my busy toddler for outgrowing it (he's over a year and half now). He is a bright cookie but doesn't mess with this gate at all. I also like how it clicks to change shape. Other similar products I found I had to tighten them regularly but this has lasted with no upkeep at all. The dark brown color also blends nicely with areas you want to keep safe but you also want to look like adults live here too. If you're on the fence (get my funny joke?) buy it!
