Light Up the Party

The Glasses: I wore these out to host my live show and they were a huge hit with the crowd. The AAA battery compartments on the ends are a bit large, but not too bad. The glasses stayed put on my head all throughout the show. I cannot wait to wear them out to a club next week. Your vision will be compromised, but sacrifices must be made for the sake of fashion. The App: The iOS version of the app is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. I downloaded version 1.2.1 and was making custom animations in seconds. Grabbing custom animations from other users is a great feature too. The Creator is simple to use and figure out. My only gripe is that when you want to make longer compilation animations (like with over 100 frames), the tapping becomes a bit tedious. There should be some way to scroll quickly to the end. Sometimes the app crashes too, so your best bet is to make several small single animations and save. Then combine them into the compilation. Copying animation frames from one to the other is also inconsistent, but not a deal breaker. Hopefully an app update can solve this.

Received the product just in time for a birthday celebration. It was a big hit. UNBOXING Package contained the glasses, a drawstring glasses pouch, two AAA batteries, multilingual safety guide, a quick-start card, and what I believe is an adjustable rubber band for keeping the glasses secured to your face when you're dancing or partying. PROS -Crisp display, very clear messages and animations -Visibility great -Easy to use and set up -App easy to use CONS -Just a little snug, but only because I have a large head. Otherwise, it's perfect. OVERALL It was a big hit at the party I went to. It was comfortable to wear, easy to see out of, and the battery lasts 8 hours, plenty for a long night of partying. If you're looking for something to spice up a party, or simply a way to break the ice, I highly recommend it.

I love these glasses so much

Ever feel like normal glasses are not enough for you? Do you like to impress your friends? These led glasses are the best choice for you! They have a long battery life, I can connect to the app quickly, the app is really easy to navigate through. These things are just really cool. The only problem I have with these is that after a few months it fell apart. The leds came out, the plastic came off, but the only good thing about that is it still works but it's ugly looking. But hey, you might be thinking that it's not worth paying seventy dollars for this. It's made out of plastic, eight hour battery life might not be long enough, or the options for customizing the leds might be low, or maybe even it's because the leds only produce the color white and no other color. I understand that but the cost is mostly because of the tech inside of it. Bluetooth 4.0, over 200 leds, and compressing it down to not be too bulky. If I had another seventy dollars to spend I'd probably buy a new pair because I think it's my fault it broke and not the quality of the glasses themselves. These things are good and you probably couldn't get something as good as these at the cost of ten dollars so seventy is a pretty good price for the quality!

If the animation gets stuck on "Chemi", that means change the batteries!

Works absolutely fantastic! Every time I go to concerts or conventions, I always get at least 10 compliments and "Nice shades, where did you get them?!", and every time I recommend Chemion to everybody! Only downside I've encountered is sometimes the Bluetooth connection between my Nexus 6P gets cut while sitting idle in my pocket for some reason but I believe that is the glasses/app's intention to save power, since you can save any animation from the App to your glasses and switch to them with the physical button without the need for the App. I recently encountered an issue with my Chemion Glasses where when I turned them on, the usual "Chemi-On" animation would freeze at "Chemi" and the only way to fix it was to change the batteries. This means the batteries are low and must be changed, evidently! Fantastic! Only improvements I could recommend are thinner arms on the glasses (perhaps switching to button-cell batteries, though I can understand the limitation on that if not possible), and adding more LED pixels to the front panel!

The coolest glasses EVER.

These are probably the coolest glasses you will ever purchase. We researched the product a bit before deciding to spend $60 on them. Our research of reviews were spot on and the $60 price point is very fair. You can customize the messages or choose from any number of presets that were created by other users. The app on your device will quickly link to the glasses and allow you to control the display. Very user friendly app as well. As soon as you take them out of the box and after looking at them for a second in awe of how cool these are, you will be hooked up and using them with your device. I plan to buy more of these for gifts. Would be great for parades, raves, cookouts, and any other large gathering. If you like attention, you will love these glasses.

BUY THEM BEFORE THEY DISAPPEAR FROM EXISTENCE!

No lie this thing is a must have if you want any and all attention on you. From birthdays to full peacock mode the eyes are on you. I do not use Facebook and getting my hands on pre-created designs was out of my reach. Though my lovely wife has a account so she saved the day. Although, I was very turned off about this because who wants to sign in just to use this device. To my surprise it saves up to five and the button on the top corner of the glasses allows you to filter through them. Also, the nose guard is adjustable making it for me very comfortable.

My daughters 17 and a drummer/Dj she had a talent show at school and i Thought this wud be nice during her performace. IT WAS!!! She was lit, glasses were dope she said she felt like a superstar. She wss suprised i ordered them. She said "mom how do u knw about all the cool stuff" Umm... maybe bcuz im a cool mom! Aren't we all? Lol

These glasses are great now usually I hold off on products 50 dollars or more but I bought these right away I am also a huge fan of the video games watchdogs 1 and 2 and these look like wrenchs glasses the pros are able to express yourself they fit over my glasses some 5 slot to save to the glasses that way you don't have to keep your bluetooth on and get people to look at you I literally wear them every time I leave my house and wear them to bars casinos and even when I grocery shop the cons are not to big a deal but still cons the material on the sides when you open them it sounds squeaky like they might break and doesn't have a built in microphone for the equalizer it uses your phone microphone and creative mode is very hard for me to use at least a stylus would help I think but haven't used it yet all over those cons don't matter much

Be careful

The glasses themselves were a ton of fun while they lasted. Why didn’t they last? Because they were so popular people were trying to take them off my head and they snapped an ear piece off. My story: bought them and took them to a club on New Year’s Eve. Huge mistake in hindsight but they were a lot of fun and drew a lot of attention throughout the night. Everyone loved them. Some loved them so much that a few were obnoxious enough to try to take them right off my face. Even though they ended up in the garbage st the end of it, I still don’t regret the purchase in the slightest They are a little difficult to see through though if your message had too many lights. But I thought it was worth it
