My tank looks cleaner than it ever has. Cleans glass inside and out at the same time. Easy to use and very strong magnets insure that it won't come apart while in use. You can see the area I cleaned in the photo. The cleaner can't get those little round spots off, but I have never found a magnet type cleaner that could remove those. I have to use some major elbow grease to remove them. It is great for algae though, and I love how clean it makes my tank look!

Great glass cleaner. Does not come apart easily like some others I have had. It sticks tight. Scrubs away even the toughest alge. I bought the large one and it makes quick work of alge scrubbing. It is easy to hold onto and use. I will buy again, when the time comes. This is built tough, so that time may be a while. Love it..

Time saver!

Bought this for my dad's 80 gallon tank after seeing the aquarium maintenance guy use a larger one for the larger tank at my workplace. Super easy to use, and my experimental cleaning of two sides took maybe 10 minutes. You do have to go at a steady pace. Too fast and the magnets have a hard time keeping up. The inside surface is like the hook side of industrial Velcro and the outside is a soft flannel-like material. Works great!

Great algae scraper!

I've had the same aquarium for six years and have just began to notice tiny spots of algae that looked like it was growing a tail. My old magnetic algae scraper was worn out and would not get the algae off of the glass. I ordered this one and when it arrived it was in a cheap blister package that said "made in China" and the English was poorly used on the back of the package. I opened it and found a very nice quality algae scraper that felt like Velcro on the scraper side and felt on the other side. The magnetics were great and it cleaned the stubborn algae from the glass as I went in a circular motion with it. It also floats as my last one did not and I often had to fish it out from the bottom of my 55 gallon tank. I got the medium sized one and it's a great size for my 55 gallon tank. I'm happy with this and will purchase it again once it is worn out.

Super magnetic scraper, recommended

Fantastic... love this scraper. I had just bought one at Walmart a few days ago because my old one that I had for about 3yrs started to fall apart and scratch my glass. Well the one I purchased at Walmart did not float and wasn't stated on the packaging as well as the magnet wasn't that great, so I of course hated it and needed to look around for a floating one and with a better quality magnet. So i found this one, i did buy the Medium size which is a little bigger than the scrapers i'm use to using, typically it would be the small size but the large size gives me more coverage on my 55 gallon, its super magnetic which I love, it FLOATS ( yes, best part) and it does the corners great. I'm very happy with it, and definitely recommend.

Great Product

Great cleaning device. When it first arrived I thought it was going to be too big for my 75 gal saltwater tank. It's big. But not too big! This thing cleans the glass on my tank quickly and efficiently. The handle is contoured to fit in your hand and operates very smoothly From my experience this does not remove algae spots and I didn't expect that it would. It makes a quick and easy job of cleaning water drips, fingerprints, and all other smudging glass issues. I would recommend this to my friends.

A must have tool for your tank.

This concept is awesome. I never knew there were magnetic aquarium cleaners until I recently started up a tank and was watching care videos and had to have one! This price is great for what you get. I searched at the local pet store and the prices are much more in store. I only gave it 4 stars because it seems like the magnet could be stronger. I had to use it very slowly to keep the two halves together as I used it to clean the algae off the walls, but it did do the job and was much easier than sticking my hand down inside with a toothbrush and scraping, which agitates the water and fish. UPDATE. I just changed my rating to a 5 star for certain. This little do dad hangs on tight enough to even flip corners to the next wall without dropping. No need to get your hands wet at all. Fantastic.

Best Aquarium cleaning product EVER!

This is my second review but since this is a great product I'll do it again. I bought this to clean a 125 gallon aquarium that hadn't been cleaned properly for a while and was coated with a hard brown algae. I separated the two haves, slipped the scrub side into the aquarium and started pulling it across the glass. It was like magic! One swipe each way and the glass was, literally sparkling clean. I did all four sides with ease and have used it monthly ever since with the same excellent results. I happily and heartily recommend this product.
