Non-serious hobbyist artist (draw whenever I feel like it or have ideas) and first-time drawing tablet owner. I do not play osu. This review and photos were created after unpacking and brief use. SHIPPING: The G430S was packed snugly with sufficient foam sleeving and material. The pen, 10 spare nibs, metal nib replacer, and manuals were also in plastic bags. The cable was tightly wrapped and bent at at 90 degree angle from the base of the tablet when I unpacked it. I haven't had problems with connectivity, but something to note. PRODUCT: The tablet came with an approximately 4.5ft (140cm) USB cable with a velcro tie (a nice touch). On the bottom there are four rubber corner feet, thickness roughly 1mm. Near the 'XP-Pen' logo, there is a small circular light that illuminates whenever the pen is in active range (10mm hover height) and whenever pressure is applied or a button is pressed. Other reviews mentioned scratching on the surface; for the time being, I've been using a sheet of paper to prevent scratching but bought an OEM tablet screen protector to apply later. The pen is fairly light at 0.4oz (10g). DRIVERS: The tablet is plug-and-play if you plan to use it as a mouse/movement device. I wanted pressure functionality, so I went to the XP-Pen website and downloaded the respective driver (Windows 7, G430S). After the install, I experienced intermittent freezing for about 15-30 seconds. I was prompted to restart once the freezing stopped, and did not experience any stutter/freezes thereafter. The driver software has a pressure sensitivity curve, button mapping, and workspace area constraints (I've already remapped a button to be Ctrl+Z). The window will always be on top of all other windows (except task manager). End thoughts: I really enjoy it. Works in SAI, but I don't know how it would work in Adobe or other e-sign applications. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and expect to enjoy drawing with the tablet for a long time.

I was gonna buy a new tablet but that was gonna be next year so I wanted to buy a cheap temporary tablet to use while I wait for the new one and so far it's better than I thought! It's very small and easy to use, I thought the size was gonna affect my art but I barely noticed it while drawing and playing osu, the drivers were easy and the pen is really good! I was gonna use it temporary but now I might use it for traveling, only problems are is that the wire to connect to the computer and tablet is permanently connected to the tablet meaning if the wire breaks you can't but a new wire but you have to buy a whole new tablet, but the tablet is so cheap I don't see it being a huge problem, just have to be very careful with it, it's really good for drawing but my hand does lay half on the tablet and half my table so it's a bit uncomfortable, on osu it lags sometimes and freezes sometimes so I'd watch out about that, other than that is very good for beginners artists and not for very serious art, I definitely recommend it, The pictures are just examples of art I made on it :)

This is super helpful. It is exactly what I originally wanted for my graphics tablet there is no complicated software it is like holding the mouse like a pencil. Fine detail is a breeze if you have a steady hand. It is perfectly simple it does not slow down my computer at all like some of the overcomplicated tablets do. I use it in adobe photoshop and Microsoft paint and either one works flawlessly. Not for mouse use daily it is easier to draw with this and use a regular mouse for the everyday stuff. :) very happy

I Absolutely Love this tablet it is perfect of beginners like me I use mine on Keira which works pretty good the pen is comfortable to hold and the tablet is pretty good for the size I have small hands so it's perfect for me I got it pretty quick I recommend this tablet for someone who is interested in digital art and doesn't want to spend slot of money on it I bought mine for $25.99 I think the price is a steal for how good this tablet really is.

This is far from expensive, I just bought it to see if I was into digital drawings. This is FANTASTIC!! It's pretty small and portable, and extremely light weight. This is fantastic for my line drawings. This is top notch for the price! I don't think you need anything too huge so this hits the right spot.

It works surprisingly well! (for a 25$ tablet) Once it arrived it was kind of confusing, because I'd never used a drawing tablet before, but eventually I got the hang of it. Definite recommendation for up-and-coming artists.

works on mac osx 10.11 and photoshop cc plus final cut pro x 10.3.4 but get the beta driver from the company!! This is my 2nd unit the first was a warehouse deal and it froze on the photoshop.... got a new one and a beta driver... It is really thin and small very light, I travel a lot so that made a big difference, I am left handed and the software allows for a flip so I like this a lot but if you need your hand on a surface note this is about 4x5" total size and about 1/8" thick!!! The pen has a little slop in it but not more than the bamboo by wacom...I think it's a good deal

I do fantasy maps. It was back to the pencil for me, but I really like the look of going electronic all the way. This product saved me a ton of time. I went from 90% scrap rate to drawing my land mass right 100% of the time. Editing was easier than creating, so the time I spent on my projects was spent creating, not fighting with my tools. Note: you need the two-finger gloves. I made the mistake of buying this without the gloves. Your hand touches the tablet and drags. This will happen no matter what kind of tablet you buy. Thought I'd mention it.

I love this little tablet. I ditched mice 25 years ago and started with Wacom tablets. Can't remember how many I've been through but I got tired of paying the Wacom tax and tried different brands. I also tried Huon tablets but their pens require a battery and to charge them constantly. Mine stopped taking a charge, now what do I do? The XP-Pen I've been using with my MacBook Pro laptop is excellent! Their engineers did their homework. I don't know how it could cost $25 and everyone still makes money. Nevertheless, don't hesitate - this tablet works very well and the cursor is very stable with no wobbling like I get on the Huon tablet. Plus no batteries in the pen to change or wear out. BTW, it also works on my Linux Mint Cinnamon desktop.

So i had purchased a huion 420 wich is around the same price range and i thought this was gonna be the same. I was blown away to find out that this was like a mini wacom. The pen is even slightly similar to the wacom intuos pen. i didnt feel any difference switching back and forth from the wacom to the xpen The tablet its self is quite small but VERY COMFORTABLE i have big fat hands and i can comfortably rest my hand on the side of the tablet for a long time. With the huion 420 theres a small edge with tends to hurt after an hour or so. No problems so far. It does what i need it to do and does it well.
