Very FAST shipping! Delivered exactly as I promised. The description and picture of the book ends is exactly what you will get. I keep a small collection of unread books on my night stand. This organized them perfectly. The non slip material under the base a good and doesn't move on the wooden surface I have it on. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

These stylized, heavy duty stainless steel bookends are the best I've ever owned. I needed bookends that would stay put and not slide around when I removed or put back the large cookbooks stored on the polished wooden shelf of my baker's rack. These two guys work perfectly. Not only do they have some weight to them but they have long bases for increased stability and the bottoms are coated with a non-slip material. Now, when I remove a book and its neighbors tip to fill the void, the bookends stay in place and keep the rest of the stack from collapsing. Fabulous and well worth the money!

Awesome

At first I had trouble using it; it kept on sliding all the books. I was almost going to return it. I know there has been many 5-star reviews for this item. I could not understand what I was doing. I was going to give it a 1-star. But after looking at some of the reviews, I decided to give it another try before I returned it. After some trial and error, I found out that you can't place them in a line; you have to place them one next to the other. When I did this it held up the books. Real cool. I am glad I did not return it.

Looks fantastic

Works excellent for my needs. Has a nice non skid pad under it and the weight of the book sits on the lip as well to help prevent it from sliding. Not super heavy but sufficient enough as it helps to give you the option to keep the books in a more "upright" position rather than leaned over.

Well made bookends

I'm really happy with these bookends. They are made of metal and are quite heavy. The base has some non-skid material so we are able to use these even on a metal shelf (see photo). I thought they would slip, but they don't. We are using these in our son's room. It is definitely not a toy, but we wanted something that he could use as he grows up. I see these lasting a good number of years. I would buy there again and I highly recommend them.

Love it!!!!!! I just received it today and it looks fantastic. It holds my books perfectly. Perfect weight. It was also very well packed. Had plastic around it in order for it not to get scratches. The bottom has a velvety film to also prevent it from scratching any surfice. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Look even nicer in person

These are even better quality than I expected! They have a good weight to them, they are made well, look nice, and have a felt padding on the bottom so that they won't scuff your shelf.

Just Beautiful (As far as bookends go!)

Needed something for my new 2 shelf setup in my workout room. I had my 2 small components on the top shelf and wanted to display my DVD collection. But alas, they kept falling over. Looked at a few different bookends and these just looked cool. And they look even better in person! Heavy enough to hold up what you need, but not too heavy. Great buy!
