Needlepoint Intro

I'm a fan of these craft kits from Alex. We try to have at least a couple of them or similar items on hand. They are an inexpensive way to entertain the little ones when we end up with a kid or two underfoot at the last minute any given weekend. Alex kits, like this needlepoint fox, don't present a true craft so much as allude to it. For instance, the needlepoint tool in this kit is more like a blunt ended stick. It's a good thing. I for one wouldn't want to have to explain a child's self inflicted injury to their parent. The included grid is plastic and premarked with the fox design. The amount of yarn provided is more than enough. More than once I've opened an Alex kit and thought “I could've put this kit together myself instead of buying it.” Sure I could have, but I didn't, so thanks Alex for doing it for me and for doing it inexpensively.

This is a great choice

Cute and easy for little kids who like crafts. My 7 year old got the hang of it immediately and it turned out perfect. The little frame that comes with it makes it easy to display and my girl feels so proud of her work. A great activity to bond with your child. It comes with enough thread to finish the picture and more, so no worries there.

Great past time for grandchildren

I love crafts so this is perfect for my grandchildren who I want to introduce to needlepoint.

I bought this for myself, yes I am almost 30 but I don’t care. I really enjoyed this, kept me busy and my mind off everyday stress for a little while. Love that it comes with a frame and everything you need to complete!
