Screen protector "sticks" so much it caused a hairline crack to spread across screen

5 minutes after I applied the screen protector I noticed a air bubble around what looked like a strand of hair. I peeled off the scree protector and discovered that it was not a strand of hair, but a crack I had never before noticed on my iPad. I replaced the screen protector, pushed out the air bubbles, and watched in horror as the crack spread and splintered across my screen. Luckily I have protection on my iPad, but the screen protector is literally so strong it caused a hairline crack to spread across (now) 1/3 of the screen. Not only will I be returning this, if I can pry it off my screen without completely shattering the screen, but I have to go through the hassle of filing a protection plan claim with my iPad. Hours wasted - definitely not worth the $8.90. Original Review: Unlike other screen protectors I've purchased, this one actually came with instructions and the tools for installation.

The instructions were simple and easy to follow

This was my second glass iPad screen protector. The first one cracked so I ordered anew one. First of all, the screen protector was packaged so it would survive shipping. I have Had other screens arrive broken. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. All assembly aids were provided. The actual installation was so easy. I positioned the protector on the screen ( used the two holes to center it) and released it. I swear the protector grabbed the screen and slowly pushed the air out from between the screen and protector. It was perfect. There were no air bubbles to try to remove. Unbelievable! So far I have had no problems with glare.

Quality screen saver but tricky know how to install correctly.

It would have been nice to have the complete installation instructions in print in stead of having to find a you tube video online. I had to try several times before I found the right one for my device. After that, watching very closely helped. Once I did it, it was clear that a few printed directions could have expedited the whole process. I was concerned at first about a big bubble that remained but it told me on the video to give it 24 to 48 hours. So I was hopeful and wishing 24 hours it was all gone. I am now very pleased with it. Please consider a complete set of printed directions specific to my device and the materials you include in the box. That is my only suggestion. Thankfully I was able to find help on the internet - not at the site you gave on the card though. You have an excellent product though and I hope you add printed directions to make it much more user friendly from the very start.

Best screen protector on the market

These tempered glass protectors are awesome. They are easy to put on if you follow the directions. I really didn't believe it when they said finger prints won't show up on them but it's true. I play games on my iPad and have to use thumb or fingers to play the games and there are no smudges or prints on the screen. I use to have to clean my screen almost every time I finished playing. I have tried other brands but never had the results I got from this company. Very very pleased with this product. Highly recommend this for anyone with iPad.

Great Protection.

Great protection for my son's iPad. He cracked a more expensive version and I replaced with the Super Shieldz brand because of their products we use on all of our mobile phones. They also have a super smooth feel which the more expensive band did not and I have yet to scratch my phone protector which I use at work with very dirty hands..

Great protection & customer service

I'm pretty good about not dropping my iPad, but one day it flew out of my hands and popped out of the case also (freak accident) falling directly flat on the screen. I dreaded picking it up, but was thrilled to see the only crack was on the screen protector. I purchased a new one right away. While putting it on it appeared to have some flaws in it. I emailed the company and they immediately sent me out a new one. Fantastic product, fantastic customer service.

Glass Screen Saver is a Must!

To be honest, I had my grandson install this on my iPad. He did a great job and did it in just a few minutes. I purchased this to replace my old vinyl screen saver that I’ve had on my iPad since 2014. Although the vinyl protected my screen, and it looked new when we removed it, I like the glass so much better. It feels smoother and I like the glossy look.

I was a little worried about having to put this on myself, you know, the bubbles, and lining it up and all. Well, I didn't have to. Not only did this arrive in record time but the instructions included a link to their video was wonderful. It showed me a way to put the cover on in a way I never have seen or would have dreamed of. I followed it with no problem and put it on in an instant. Not one problem. Not one bubble. Highly recommend this problem.

Worth the money

This is our second one! We had the first screen protecting cover on the ipad for over a year when we noticed a scratch or crack on the screen. Both my husband and I were worried it would be more than just the cover, but fortunately the screen protector did its job and the Ipad is safe! We promptly ordered a new one and are very pleased to know such an expensive item is well protected. Our 3 year old is tough on the ipad, but we aren't worried this screen protector combined with a good case have made the Ipad toddler proof! :)

Worth a gamble

This is actually my 2nd one now. I ordered the first one for a 1st gen ipad air and now for a 2018 6th gen ipad. The protector works well with my case (nearly had to hold my breath) thought for sure it would crack when I clamped my case together. It is thin enough to work well with the Apple Pencil, although a plastic type protector like the xtreme or invsishield would probably feel more "grippy" and more like paper to draw with. Both of my protectors arrived with no damage. Possible problems: Unlike other protectors - if you lift it back up to re-apply - you will probably break it! So get it right the first time! Follow the video on their website, even though the video demonstrates installing on an iPhone, the process is identical. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. I messed up the second time and accidentally put the glass on the wrong way round when applying the assistive stickers. The stickers started to peel the protective film off, so I had to manually install it, it was nerve wracking. So don't make this mistake - or you will have a bad time. Luckily after the 2nd attempt, it went fine. You do have to be patient and coax any bubbles out, this process can take a while, but it is worth it. I have found glass protectors look much nicer and are much less likely to have bubbles. Since I haven't had either of the 2 protectors for very long, I can't comment on the durability or scratch resistive qualities of this product, but so far I am very happy. Unless something changes my mind, this is the product that I will be ordering again, when I need a new protector. As far as the ease of install, this is probably one of the best brands you can buy. I am not sure if others include what they include. I did NOT use their alcohol pad, instead I used a lens cleaner and the reason behind this is - I did not want to remove the protective coating that the manufacturer of the screen puts on most glass screens. I felt like the lens wipe would be more gently and preserving of this coating. All things considered, even though it would be nice if you got 2 of these for the price, I still believe it is a good value and product.
