• 2 Humbucking Pickups - Metallic Silver Sunburst
  • 5-string Electric Bass with Mahogany Body
  • Maple/Rosewood Neck

I've played bass for over 20 years and this is my first 5 string bass. The bass feels and plays great just what you come to expect from Ibanez. The pre-amp is a nice plus in combination with the great pickups on this bass. If you're a pro or a beginner for the price you cannot go wrong.

Ibanez SR305E 5-String Electric Bass Guitar (Black Planet Matte) The color is great, the metallic glitter makes it look a dark blue.

I decided to return this bass, but only because I decided against playing a five string. It's a very nice quality bass, especially for the price. I also loved the color and finish on it. I wish I was able to buy a four string version of it.

This is my second SDGR Bass and they both play great. I ordered this to track in lower tunings with my 7 string guitar because I wanted to tune low without filing the nut and making the stings loose. The D'addario XL strings it ships with sound great in drop or standard A flat. The pickups sound fat, with lots of clarity in all positions. The pots and switch are an easy way to dial in your sound (the pickups stay in phase with all settings). Intonation was easy to set up, tuning stability is reliable and the action can be set fairly low before any string buzz. I ordered the Siverburst finish which makes the lighter fretboard stain stand out. The body contour feels great when recording during long sessions. So far this looks like the last bass I'll be buying for my studio which is definitely a good thing.

This is an amazing bass To begin with, I'm a beginner. I got my first bass 1 month ago which was a Squier Vintage Modified J Bass 70's It was heavy, the fretboard was wider and there is no way to tune the tone and EQ SR305E is way better than my Squier one First, it has EQ that can tone down or up Low, Mid and High There is also a power tap that can give the sound a 'kick' The knobs have indicator mark that can easily identify which side it's on They also have a nice 'gap' feel at neutral positions It's much lighter than the Squier and much faster in action Tone wise, it's much warmer too

Amazing sound, nace bass i love it

I had to get myself a birthday gift and this was it. I was looking at this one on the Ibanez website and thought, I'll get this for my birthday 'cause this along with the SR306EB would be a great combo, and it matches the décor of my apartment. It was a great buy, and the seller was very helpful with the delivery, making sure I received it in a reasonable time frame with no issues. It's Ibanez and it feels just like I remember, (great).

Absolutely love it. Amazing sound, great price. Satisfied customer.
