My indoor cats flopping gut has gotten much smaller! It might be because he hates the food so he eats is slower than any other food he’s had in the past. It’s super stinky and not in a “oh that’s cat food” kinda stink, it’s more of a “did I leave a rotting glass of milk somewhere around here?” Kind of stink. Not good. We will still get this because he got used to it and eats it just fine now but he really hated it at first and we moved his food bowl so we didn’t have to smell it!!!!!

I changed to Iams because my cats had a skin issue that I thought might be due to reactions from something in the food that I was using. The cats do not eat as much of this food as it seems to meet their nutritional needs. The cats skin problem vanish and so did the amount of vomiting. The vomiting decreased to almost nothing. Another bonusof this food isif its vomited back up, it does not stain the carpet like other pet foods did.

I have used this specific cat food for years. My cat is a long haired whie cat, incredibly finicky. The vet suggested it and Isabella will eat it, in fact, it is the ONLY cat food, wet or dry that she condescends to eat. .so yes, I am very pleased with the product.

This stuff really works. I have an eight year old male cat who has been eating this for most of his adult life. Not only does he prefer it over other foods (I've offered several, side by side...) but he's never been overweight. I don't know if that's because of the food or not, but... see below. The other great thing is that this stuff really does decrease hairballs. I know, because whenever I run out and have to use a different kind of food for a week or two, my cat's hairball production goes up considerably. Highly recommended.

Our 15 pound 3 year old cat is getting too big. I was told to cut back her food substantially. How do you listen to a cat meow because she's hungry? Instead of cutting back the amount I changed to this Weight Control food. She is ever-so-slightly looking like she's using a little weight. I started out with 1/2 regular Iams cat food and 1/2 weight control Iams. She is now around 1/4 regular Iams and 3/4 weight control Iams. Within a month she'll be on Iams Weight Control totally. Highly Recommend IAMS.

This cat food is awesome. I have one particular cat that takes liquid dumps when he eats any brand of cat food that I have given him, except for Iams indoor. Occasionaly, I buy cheap cat food at the gas station when I run out and need a temporary fix. All of my cats' problems come back... hair balls, diarrhea, overeating etc. I have no explanation for it, but there is dentinitely something different about this brand, not just clever marketing.

I’ve tried a lot of cat foods and am sticking with IAMS. It’s not expensive and may not get the credit that high priced organic holistic grain free and all those get but after trying them all and researching the pros and cons, I have found that IAMS is perfect for my two cats. This one does help reduce indoor weight problems as I had using regular high K/cal food. And the ingredients are good. They are just as healthy and have all the normalities as being on the expensive showy stuff so stick with IAMS. Most low known cat brands are junk but not IAMS; they know their stuff.

As my cat has gotten older, she has been putting me through the test with food. She would stop eating midway through a bag, even the smallest I could buy. She would appear to be "tired" of the taste, and the fool human that I am, I kept changing her out (gradually adjusting to something new). People said, "Leave it there and she'll eat it", but she wouldn't! I noticed a bit of a weight loss and got concerned enough for a vet visit who said she was getting older, not as active, doesn't need so much, but suggested Iams. I just ordered more of this because she finished off the bag. Enough said.

I've tried several very expensive, premium cat foods. I started with Iams, but weaned my 2 cats onto each new premium food. One of my kitties wouldn't eat as much of the expensive stuff, or they would start throwing up and one brand they wouldn't touch at all! I've had to go back to this formula of Iams and they just love it. My heavy cat has even gotten down to and been maintaining, a healthy weight since I've kept them on Iams for good now. I'm very happy with this formula.

My cats are not over weight (one cat does need to loose 1.5lbs but at least he hasn’t gained more on this) and they NEVER have hair balls. Only my long haired cat has only had ONE hair ball. Which that is just Incredible. No stomach issues with this either. Doesn’t smell bad. Vet said good brand, but I should add wet food to their diet as well so they can better stay hydrated and keeps kidneys healthy. This will also help them to intake less carbohydrates since dry food has more of it. Either one meal dry and one meal wet or just mix some wet food with the dry. Haven’t done that yet though.
