UPDATE: Our bike store was able to customize the extenders, and the seat now works fine on my bike. It cost $25 to have the bike store customize and install. They said that actually this brand (Copilot) and Thule are the brands that they recommend, and the Thule seat would not fit on my bike, anyway. I have taken my 2-yr.-old out daily since getting my bike back and this seat is working great for us. I like the recline options to get the best position for your child. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I did a LOT of research before I selected this seat. I was confident before I placed my order, after reading the reviews and answered questions available, that this would fit my hybrid cruiser recreational bike (my bike, specifically, is the sixthreezero EVRYjourney women's 7-speed bike sold by Beach Bikes, with 26" wheels). We unfortunately cannot install the rack for this Limo seat properly due to the more extended rear frame of the cruiser-style bike. The "extenders" that come with the Limo rack are not very adjustable and are not nearly long enough to reach to the rear wheel of my bike in the proper position for the rack to sit horizontal to the ground. The rack must tilt way too far forward/down as it is, so that there is no room to set the Limo seat itself on the rack. Most definitely does not work. I THINK we will be able to take the whole shebang to a local bike shop and hopefully have them provide much longer extenders. If so, I think we're ok. Otherwise, as much as I like everything else about this seat, it must be returned and the search goes on. I am very surprised and disappointed that this will not fit my recreational bike after all the research I did and several other reviewers specifically mentioning how well it works with "cruiser" bikes. I can see it would fit fine on my husband's bike, which has a different and more compact layout in the back tire area, but that won't help me because I'm the primary one who will take the kids out biking.

We bought this for our daughter for her 1st birthday present. We love it, no issues, installed perfectly.

Great buy

My 2yr old loves this (and she usually hates being strapped in anywhere). Very comfortable for her and a nice ride. It was a little tricky installing on our hybrid Trek bikes, but we got it to work (needed longer slide bars - available at any bicycle repair shop - around $7).

LOVE IT!

Works great to peddle my 18 month old around. The bike did tip once while someone (not me) was riding with him and the seat protected him perfectly!

Great for Family Vacation Bike Rides!

We bought this for our family vacation last August when my daughter was about 9 months old. This was great! We felt secure knowing she was safe on our bike, and she loved the experience of riding on a bike. Highly recommend.

Just purchased this and used it the whole week while at the beach. Assembling it was a bit tough but once it was on, it was great. Very easy to put my daughter in and take her out. She rides very comfortably in it. Taking it off the mount is easy as well. Happy with the purchase.

I knew it would be great..

My daughter-in-law researches everything when it comes to her children. When she requested this for her son's birthday gift, I knew it would be great...and safe. They now ride everywhere. Great product.

To all the nervous mothers, like me. I highly recomme d this seat. I was traveling at 65 mph with this bike behind my car. The bike flew off of the rackand hit the pavement. The bike had damage, however not a single scratchwas on the seat. I would buy this itemagain. I feel safe with my child riding in it.
