Excellent quality corks, fit standard wine bottles

Size is perfect. Quality is excellent. These corks held up very well for the year. They are a little shorter than standard wine corks, but this allows form easy bottling.

Just what I wanted

Fit with the plastic plunger and shrink wraps I bought on Amazon. I was able to recork my hard liquor in a wine bottle and walked it right on to the cruise ship with no questions asked.

Use for Young Wine

I use these #8 corks for my home made wine that is meant to be consumed "Young" because age wouldn't change or appreciably change the flavor over time. They fit my bottles very well, will not leak. I would use the #9 cork for the same bottle if I was making Wine that should be aged longer than 1 year for best fit because temperature of the environment will expand and contract the Fit of the cork, you want a tighter seal than #8 cork offers. Since the fit is tight, even for #8 cork, I boil these in water then insert them with a Double Lever Corker to make an easy job of sealing my bottles.

Exactly what I needed

I bought these for some home made wine and they are great! Easy to use and works well with any standard size wine bottle.

Wine corks

Used these corks for wine bottles that were made into fairy lights for a wedding reception. They were easy to notch so the cord for the LED light string with the switch and battery pack could be hung outside of the bottle

Nice Corks

I was preparing to bottle some wine in a few days and I realized I didn't have enough corks. I checked Amazon and was able to order and receive these in 2 days which was just in time for my bottling. These are quality corks and they are the right size for most wine bottles.

great corks

worked great! i couldn't get them all the way in the bottle, but that is my fault for not having a proper corker, but they did their job and sealed my apple wine pretty damn well! I reused my riunite wine bottles (1.5 size) and these worked well for them, just make sure you have a good corker!
