Try these before paying more for name-brand scissors

Since I've had 2 pair of Fiskars scissors break on me recently (at the joint), I decided it was time to switch brands. I ordered these thinking they would be my fill-in scissors until I decided which name-brand scissors to try next. But these are EXCELLENT! They're sharp and stay sharp. They'fre very comfortable to use- no blisters cutting through tough material. They are now the only scissors I would buy. They are slighly larger (longer, larger grip) than the Fiskars, but that isn't a detriment. I was so impressed with these that I bought more. I like having scissors in every room where I might use them- office, kitchen, craft work area, etc. They've worked well on every material I've used them on. Definitely recommend.

Great pair of scissors for the price

My granddaughter absconded with my old Fiskars scissors for a school project and I needed a replacement. I chose these based on the reviews I read and they sure fit the bill. They work and feel just like the Fiskars and seem very well made for a reasonable price. I couldn't be happier. Especially not that I have an extra pair if she decides to borrow them again.

Useful in a variety of ways

These are very sharp, and have stayed very sharp. The pair does come in different colors, which, besides price, is why I purchased them. I wanted one pair for the kitchen nd the other for my sewing; you didn’t want to get those mixed up! Yuk. My husband uses his to cut foods and has washed in the dishwasher several times - no dulling or discoloration yet. Very nice.

Scissors seem great at first use

Needed some new scissors to open boxes. But these scissors were packaged so well I wound up needing scissors to open my scissors. There are layers on tape holding the entire box closed. Hilarious. Scissors seem great at first use.

these are great so far!

Wanted some scissors to keep in the garage and in the bathroom for random stuff that always comes up, saw these and it was a no brainer. Most AmazonBasics stuff I've bought is great and these are too. My only regret is not buying the 3 pack honestly. Stop thinking about it and buy these if you need scissors. Done!

Holy cow these are sharp! I have been using scissors for 33 years and I've never had a pair this sharp. I've only got 4 fingers now, but I've learned a valuable lesson. They were super cheap, and they're sturdy and well put together. Scissors don't really take much abuse (at least not in my house), so these should last for years and years. These are replacing scissors that I've had since college. I kept taking them into the garage for various DIY projects, and I'd always forget to bring them back. Then my wife would be, like, "What'd you do with the scissors?!" and I'd be like "Ooops! In the garage!" Then, I'd have to run out to the garage like a jerk and get them. For only a few bucks, it was totally worth it to get a new pair to keep inside the house.

I ought to have bought more of these, at the rate they magically disappear around my house. (Not that my daughter can tell me how they magically reappear in her room with her markers and papers and crafty things, ever.) They fit straight and aren't overly heavy, which is a thing that really bothers me about other scissors I've owned. Thank you.

Sharp, sturdy, comfortable to use

These scissors fit easily and comfortably into my hand. They are sharp and cut smoothly. I like that there are two different colors so I can easily differentiate the pair I keep for cutting paper only to keep the blades from getting dull and use the pair I use for cutting anything. The scissors are heavy enough that they cut well through plastic packaging but are not so heavy they hurt my wrist when I use the scissors. They are sturdy, and the price was great. I would definitely buy these again.

Great scissors

I bought 3 pairs when the single packs dropped to like $1.50 a pair or something. I love these. You can never find scissors when you need them so I've now hidden pairs of scissors all over the house. I have specific pairs for paper, vinyl, and fabric in my craft room. They work very well and are comparable to scissors with a much higher price tag. All 3 came as the same orange color.

Work great, nice price

We had several pairs of dull scissors that were annoying. These are nice and sharp, and are a great deal for the price. It's always good to have 2 pairs. They have held up well, we've had them for a few months. I'm glad we bought them, and I'd buy them again in the future if I need scissors.
