great ink

got a new printer and am having trouble finding ink. It was backordered for a time but arrived before we ran out of our other one.

Just what I needed, and right on time

I had gone to my local Staples to buy this cartridge. In addition to being grotesquely overpriced, they were out of stock as well. Placed my order one day, cartridge delivered the next -- a a fraction of the price. If only real life ran like this

good product

Not much to say for the ink since I do not know track how long it lasts except that it does make excellent copies. I have printed photos onto standard quality white paper and they came out perfectly. It was to be a quick substitute until I had an opportunity to have a copy made. But they look fine, although the will not be substitute will not be forever.

I use this ink with the HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 Wireless All-in-One Photo Printer with Mobile Printing. Although HP offers Instant Ink ready subscriptions for this printer, I don't do enough printing to warrant receiving ink on a monthly basis. With that said, this ink cartridge, and it's companion multi-color ink cartridge provide outstanding results in my printer. All printing, regardless of whether for ordinary purposes, receiving faxes, etc., comes out clear and sharp. I love the ability of my HP printer to do double sided printing, which saves a ton of paper. I also like the dashboard on my computer that displays the current status of the printer. It indicates exactly how much ink remains, and results in my ordering both this and the multi-color ink cartridge just before I need them. This black ink cartridge is first rate quality. It never leaks, and always provides me with perfect print quality. 5 stars.

My printer is back up and running great. It's ashame that HP ask so much money, and my printer only seems to work with HP inks. I tried a after market replacement cartridge and my printer won't work. Shame on HP. I thought that Monopoly was against the law.

I Stick With Genuine HP Ink

Unfortunately, I am tethered to these cartridges because of the printer I purchased. (There are other options to receive ink automatically from HP, but I do not want to relinquish control to them.) I say “unfortunately” because the price of this cartridge increases every time I need it. It was around $15 just two years ago. Now it’s almost $19! And that price only gets you 300 pages of print. That said, I am happy about the quality of the ink. And I have never had a damaged cartridge delivered to me.

Absolutely the best!

A year ago this month, I purcchased an HP printer from Amazon with ink to go with it. After completing research on my family tree and that of my late husband and the spouses of my children, I printed 24 in-depth copies of the individuals in these trees to the tune of almost 5000 pages. I ordered all of the ink--black and colors--just like this. I was not disappointed. The shipping dates kept me working without delays and the quality of the work is outstanding. I cannot commend these too highly.
