DELICIOUS!

Delicious is how my mother and brother describe these caramels. I reordered the Salt Caramels, as gifts, within 3 weeks because they went over so well. They loved the soft gooey texture, the HUGE size of each candy. These are WINNERS!!! Update: 10/3/2017 Finally got around to treating myself to a box of the Salted Caramels. YUM. These are fabulous. I order them EVERY month. OMG they are so good!!!

The Best!

When I was a girl (I'm 69 now), my Grandpa would send us a box of caramels and caramel apples every Fall from Hunter's Confectioners in Moscow, Idaho. My brothers and I looked forward to those delicious treats each year. I wanted to extend that tradition to my daughter and my girlfriend's daughters. But, alas, Hunter's Candy no longer exists. I've tried to find a replacement that was as good as I remembered. Blue House caramels fit that bill. You can tell they are made the "old-fashioned" way. Rich in buttery, caramel flavor and nice and chewy. They are not so sticky that your molars get clogged up. Now if they only made crisp apples covered in their delicious caramel my quest would be complete. I loved my Grandpa so much. When I eat one of these caramels, it reminds me of him. Great memories and taste combined. Can't get much better than that.

Better than homemade

These really are delicious. First of all they taste fresh, and the texture is wonderfully buttery and creamy with just a hint of salt, no grittiness at all. A friend makes wonderful homemade caramels every Christmas and I had to admit that these are better. I had to pace myself or I would have scarfed down the whole box in one sitting.

Very, very tasty, creamy, and smooth.

Fair warning: these are addictive!

Some of the best caramels I have ever tasted. So soft yet chewy with the perfect amount of buttery goodness. The pieces are large, you can easily get 3 decent bites from each piece. Shipping with Prime was prompt and without problems. The caramels got a little soft in hot weather but did not melt so they're safe to order in hot months. I also tried the Sea Salt ones and they were delicious too, but I prefer the regular ones.

This is the real deal

Oh. My. God. This is by FAR the best caramel I’ve had since leaving Chicago 15 years ago. Wouldn’t change a single thing except maybe offer bulk pricing or a subscription option for folks who can’t go without (like myself) A+ in every other way. The buttery taste, smooth texture, deep color, perfect chew (oh god the chew)... heck they even smell wonderful. This particular candyman sure does make my world taste good!

The best carmels I've ever tasted

These carmels are delicious, large candies. You can take big bites of these things or even eat them whole: they don't have the cloying taste of some other carmels. They're nice and chewy, not a soft carmel or a carmel so hard you'd break it by biting. They're very addictive, it's hard to eat just one even though they're big. Literally, I've tried a lot of carmels. These are the most delicious I've ever tasted. Strongly recommended.

A Little Bite of Heaven!

I rarely rate items, but just needed to let everyone know that if you are thinking of purchasing these incredible chewy soft sweet delights, it will be THE best caramel you will ever have! I purchased these for my picky husband for Valentine's Day. He absolutely thought they were the most amazing caramel ever! He is an "experienced " sweets type of guy and has had many years of tasty treats to know the difference.
