For $29, it is a good value. Is it heavy duty? No. Does it work to hold plants? Yes. You’re not going to put several large pots on this (you could, but it’s unadvisable). This works great for starting seeds or starting/maturing plants before you transplant to the garden. It went together easily and seems sturdy enough. I opted to zip-tie the shelves for stability and I was careful about unfolding the plastic cover and installing. Overall it’s a good purchase if your expectations are calibrated. Would buy again (bought two this time)

Very easy to assemble, cheap, and does exactly what it's intended to do. Don't expect the taj mahal, but for what it is, it's a great buy. I started some seed inside, but next time I'm going to start them directly in here. It has a small footprint, but holds a lot, so you can get your starts going, and then put it away for the rest of the year. Be sure to learn from my mistake, though. Find a way to anchor it in windy conditions. Mine fell over in some wind, and I lost a few starts, and also had a hard time identifying my starts that did survive.

Really easy assembly. Took less than 10 minutes and was actually pretty fun to put together. The plastic was really easy to put over it. No problem there. The shelves DO NOT snap into place. They're actually rather crooked when placed over the metal bars that hold them up. That said, they can fall off (knocking whatever you have set on it) really easily, which happened to me. I got some metal wire and secured the shelves in place and no longer find it a problem. Easy/quick fix. All in all, for the price, I def recommend.

Mine came perfect and everything pops in together (except the top, very thin wire but it is basically useless other than to keep the plastic shape at the top. I might glue it im if I am feeling up to it, but for now it is staying in there just fine, after some coersion). The wire racks are a touch twisted but grab some green zip ties from your local store and the greenhouse frame is perfect. The cover fits mine all the way to the ground and the zippers have no flaws. I bought this to over winter my ferns, potato vines, gingko cutting and others. I have a large mona lavendar that fits on the top shelf and a res shrimp plant that will be going on the top as well. They fit. I also haven't had to water my plants in a week and all soil is still wet to the top and one fern that had caught something nasty is already regrowing from nothing. I am getting a second one as Lowe's was selling large mums for $1 and I've come into a large amount of them. Oops!

For $30, I really didn't expect much, but knew a friend of mine who had one for a few years on her patio and loved it. When I got it, it took me about 20 minutes to put together. Its metal poles with plastic shelf frames, and a metal grate that sits on top of each shelf. One of the metal poles was misshapen, but I just used a pair or pliers to reshape it into a circle and it was fine. The metal grate doesn't sit perfectly flat, but with a little shaping and maneuvering they were just fine. The plastic sheath on top seems to be decent quality - doesn't feel like its going to rip any time soon, and the whole thing feels relatively sturdy. I put heavier items on the bottom to weigh it down and also put one of my patio chairs up against it just in case there was some wind. It feels very warm in there when I reach in to water my seedlings - so its obviously working! My plan is to use this for starters in the spring, then use it with grow lamps in the basement in winter for herbs and greens. Overall - highly recommend if you're looking for something cheap, small, easy to put together and don't mind messing with it a little bit to make it work perfectly. I didn't want to make a big investment since I rent and have a very small garden - so this was perfect for me!

My daughter and I decided to try our hand at starting flowers for our gardens from seed. I was looking to purchase this as a birthday present for her but I decided to order one for each of us. We lovethem!! We did zip tie the wire racks to the support bars because there was a lot of movement when we had small seedlings. My daughter also used "s" hooks to hang grow lamps in hers. I will be purchasing a second one for myself as I have decided to bring some existing plants into my basement for the winter while starting some new seeds. I have had this one outside all summer in an area that recieves morning sun afternoon shade and evening sun and it has held up very well!!

I love this 4 Tier, Mini Greenhouse. I have it in the mud room and it's a perfect size (both in height and width from the wall). This is a great way to start gardening if you're in an apartment or do not have space to plant. The shelves are a wire mesh that is lightweight, but sturdy enough to hold your plants. I will make a suggestion though: they can be knocked over easy if you're not careful and thank you for those of you who wrote those reviews of caution here! Being forewarned before I ordered, I used zip ties to secure each shelf on each corner as well as in the middle, both front and back. Also, the length of the shelves is the perfect size for my plant trays (ordered separately from Amazon). I set the planter pots with drain holes into the trays without holes so I do not have a mess. Please note* when you water, that water will drain and it has to go somewhere, but it's not going on my floors! The no drip trays may not be needed if your greenhouse is outside though. The plastic tent is very easy to put on and it will keep the temperature warm for your plants. I put in a thermometer. I hope this review helps.

Considering this is an incredibly cheap product, I'm beyond satisfied with it. As others mentioned in the questions and their comments, it is a nice shelf sized greenhouse that can probably hold 40lbs worth of small to medium sized plants spaced to balance weight. Pro: I plant to use mine to container grow herbs, alpine strawberries, salad greens, etc. and to also use it as a vegetable starter in the spring. It's easy to "add" on to. With an hour of work, and an extra 30 bucks for Mylar blankets and an LED grow light I turned this into a little green house I am very proud of. Con: It isn't a heavy duty shelf, and a little flimsy, BUT what do you expect for this price? Sliding the plastic on yourself also isnt the easiest, but doable in 3 minutes to 5 minutes once you get use to it.

Love this little Green House! I always start my vegetable plants indoors in early Spring, but I keep my house cooler than my young plants like, so I used this greenhouse in combination with grow lights, heat pads and domed trays this year and they absolutely thrived. I assembled it myself and while it's lightweight and easy to move around, it's very sturdy and the parts fit snugly together. The zippered front can be rolled up during the day to allow in natural sunlight and keep the plants from getting too hot and can be rolled back down at night to keep in the heat and moisture. Hope to be using it for many years to come!

I am very happy with this mini greenhouse! I was looking for something inexpensive to use for my AeroGarden Bounty and for starting seedling trays for my outdoor garden. I live in Colorado and our growing period can be short, so this gives me a head-start. Last year I had my AeroGarden on a wooden table but I was constantly wiping off the table every time I spilled. I don't have to worry about that with these shelves. The shelves were easy for me to put together by myself, in a very short time. Is it top quality? No. But for less than $30.00 it does the job well. It wobbled at first but I was able to get it balanced. I did tie the racks on the shelf with a little bit of garden twine, which substantially improved the stability. It is light-weight enough that I can move it easily to catch the outdoor light too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive little green house!
