The security features are everything

Great quality, great features, I only wish that it was a little lighter. I believe that it will easily hold my DSLR camera in a case, a long medium thickness sweater, and a wallet, with some extra room for very small purchases. I bought it to take on a trip to Europe so I will update my review upon my return. Overall, seems like a great bag.

Perfect bag for travel... and everything else

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but this bag is the best purchase I have ever made on this website. Bought it for a three-month trip to Buenos Aires, so I wanted something durable and secure to guard against theft. The latches on the zippers and deep pockets inside the bag mean I never have to be paranoid about pickpockets like my friends do with their backpacks. It's a perfect size, too - fits my 13-inch laptop with plenty of room to spare and makes an ideal travel carry-on, yet it's not so bulky that it's uncomfortable for everyday use. I would buy this bag a million times.

I'd buy it again!

I did a lot of research on bags before purchasing. I travel a lot for work, so I needed a bag that was comfortable to carry/wear and that had good pockets as I often use this as my work bag/purse at conferences. The locking zipper pull is a great security feature that makes me feel more confident that my wallet is secure. I have a larger laptop that has a 10-key on the keyboard, and it's too tall to fit in the bag and it zip up.... but I knew that going into my purchase. It still was the best item out there to fit my needs. I like that it has the long cross body strap or the shoulder straps. Depending on my load, I use both handles regularly. I get so many compliments on this bag and people seem to really love the security features. I'd buy this again in a heart beat!

Great Travel Bag

Love, Love, Love this bag. It is very cute....like the long strap and I like all the organizational features. I wanted a travel bag...that didn't look exactly like a travel bag. I can fit my Nikon camera in there along with all my other needs. It is a heavier/heavier duty type of bag so if you are looking for lightweight, this is not for you. The color and material are perfect and the longer strap is great for across the body.

Solid purchase

I have had this bag for months. It’s been all over the world and I’ve used it daily for work. It’s held up great. I am a big fan of all the compartments, zippers and security features. Plus, I think it’s cute, it’s great when you can have practicality and style. I don’t use the long strap, the handles are enough.

I used this bag in Paris last week and its features worked wonderfully and I had no issues with the advertised pickpockets. The clipping zippers worked great and I felt secure with my bag all over the tourist sites and Metro. Size worked great to get all my items in the bag as a carry on on the way to my destination. I would rather the bag didn’t feature such a prominent Travelon logo on the outside since I feel like anyone could Google that and then possibly target you as a tourist.

An anti-theft bag that doesn’t look like all the rest of them.

I bought this purse on behalf of my wife and this is what she said: The bag is more than I expected. I had bought some other styles from Travelon that just didn’t fit my needs, so when I saw this style that was casual, didn’t scream “Anti-Theft Bag” and could convert from cross body to shoulder bag, I knew I had to try it. First off, it’s made out of a heavy cotton/denim material and it’s a nice medium grey color. The outside: it has many pockets and most have the security closures, which is nice. I recently, after a week of carrying it, just found two more hidden outside pockets that I didn’t even know were there. The arm handles to wear as a tote are long and you can easily wear it on your shoulder with a thick bulky jacket. The crossbody strap is great, it can be extended out so it is very long or you can wear it higher up. Great for women who have a large chest, as most crossbody bags hit us in all the wrong places. The interior is white with a blue stripe which is nice to find your objects. It even comes with a removable keychain flashlight for when you just can’t find that tube of lipstick at the bottom of your bag. There are a few interior open pockets for your cell phone or glasses, and one interior zip. I would recommend this bag to anyone traveling that is worried about the safety of their belongings or just for every day. It is reasonably priced as shipping was fast and secure. I would absolutely recommend this bag to any woman looking for a anti-theft bag that doesn’t look like all the rest of them.

This bag was fairly heavy compared to a regular bag, but the peace of mind from knowing it was cut proof and having the locking zippers was worth it. This bag is pretty cute (it’s not my ideal style for a bag but it doesnt scream TOURIST!!!!) and I like the long shoulder straps and the adjustable cross body. This bag fits a lot of stuff. I have no regrets about buying this. I used this all over Barcelona, Granada, Lisbon, and Gatwick.

A Bag Worthy of Travel or Use At Home

I purchased this bag to be my carry on purse during all the flights I have scheduled this year. I wanted something with a RFID pocket that would fit my wallet and with extra security features from pickpockets. Having something with a little style would be a plus. Since I planned to leave my laptop home this year, I wanted a slightly smaller (more "normal" sized) bag to carry. Enter the Heritage Travelon Tote Bag. It is smaller than my usual laptop bag, but it is big enough to hold an A4 sized file. My tablet, phone, makeup, notebooks, and other travel odds and ends fit without a problem into this bag. The wine colored canvas with suede accents is casual style, attractive without advertising wealth. Something I prefer when I travel. The interior has a great setup from the large RFID pocket to the phone and pen pockets on the opposite side. There is a key leash that comes with a little flashlight that I found very handy. The striped interior cloth is attractive on the inside and matches several of my cosmetic and media bags. At home, I find that I'm using the purse for times when I am out shopping and need a slightly bigger purse. This gives the bag a big thumbs up to me. It is a bag worthy of travel with all its security features and rugged good looks, but also very good to use at home.

Great functional bag

I bought this bag primarily for my upcoming study abroad program. I wanted something cute and functional but still be anti-theft because of where I'm going happens to be a pick-pocket hot spot. I really like this bag because it's not a typical looking anti-theft bag so I don't appear to be some paranoid tourist. This bag is a bit bigger than I anticipated and heavier than most totes. However, one of the features is an anti-slash metal mesh embedded into the bag so once you account for that it's not too bad. I will suggest that if you are using this for an everyday bag with no specific purpose other than to carry a wallet, you may want something else. But it is very room. There are two side pockets you can't really see in the picture which is nice for small items. The main pocket is huge though. I tested it out to see what I can fit. It's roomy enough for my Surface Pro 4 in a hard shell case, a 3 subject notebook, a pencil case, a wallet, a book and there was more than enough space left. I'd say that this could even be a weekend or overnight bag. Overall, it's a pretty sweet bag that's stylish and functional and really not as expensive as some other bags I've bought. It's also a lot sturdier and I don't think it'll break to easily.
