Sametop Jaws Flex Clamp Mount with Adjustable Gooseneck
Item arrived on time and undamaged. The material is of good quality. Item is of sturdy construction. It's versatility as far as the gooseneck is some what limited. And it's length is shorter than I would have liked. The clamp is amazingly sturdy and strong. So, be careful when using but there's no concern for it coming loose. Overall it's is excellent product. Please be advised you are only purchasing what is pictured, there are NO accessories to attach camera except what is shown.

Great customer service and product
I love using this for my livestreaming and business. It's squeaky loud when I need to move it, but the beauty is that it's so sturdy and flexible: so many tripods only move up and down or back and forth and each needs a different kind of twist screw, but this gives you IMMEDIATE flexibility and that's a tremendous asset for me. I've broken tripods that can't adjust quickly enough and this tripod is instantly adjustable!!! NOW: I needed to use this with an iPhone, so it took me a while to find the right attachment to use with my phone. but it was actually because I was lazy to look: I went to Best Buy and bought a go Pro adaptor kit and voila!!! Finally, after a few uses I noticed a crack in my clamp at the base. It didn't actually affect the performance of the equipment at all, but it made me nervouse it might break. I contacted the company through FB and they IMMEDIATELY SENT ME A BRAND NEW CLAMP MOUNT. I'm a very happy customer and love my SAMETOP tool. And I thank them for treating me like ahuman being :0) Laura

I like it!
Great product! The clamp spring it very strong! I clamp it to the handle bar riser on my bike when I ride. The neck is flexible, but very - is “tight” the right word? I can adjust the neck, but it is hard - which it is a good thing, I don’t want it flopping around! One thing I noticed is the GoPro records the road and vibration noise through the bike frame. I just turn the volume down when I watch the play back.

Great GoPro Clamp!
Excellent clamp (so far). Took it in a trip and clamped it to an ATV Buggy. It was heavily jostled and the arm moved a bit, but the clamp stayed in place. Great price, 2-day Prime shipping.

Honestly most stuff like this i expect a wimpy clamp when it is sold to the general public. I am use to professional tools that actually have good clamps. Seems most people complain about a hard to open clamp such as something in the professional world. So to my surprise this thing has a good strong clamp! This thing is as strong as i would expect to buy off a snap-on or mac truck for hundreds of dollars!

Helpful and it does what I needed
I bought this because my son recommended it. He's been using GoPro cameras for years and has quite a few aftermarket accessories. He told me this flex clamp mount is the most useful accessory he owns. I, on the other hand, am a complete newbie to GoPro camera ownership. I just bought mine in November (It is now January) and the learning curve has not been easy for me, especially when it comes to accessories! I was surprised that the camera was not immediately useful to me without buying a variety of accessories. It seemed like every time I ordered something it solved some things yet still didn't give me the use of the camera I really needed. I told my son about this and that's when he suggested the flex clamp mount. So, I bought it and guess what.... now I'm actually able to use the camera for my video making hobby! I'm so excited about it. This thing doesn't exactly connect to my tripod but I can clamp it on and use the tripod anyhow. I really appreciate it. I was even able to film an art video today from above - first time since I started doing art YouTube videos. This is working out great for me. My son doesn't just clamp this to his tripod. He clamps it to anything available. That's what makes it such a useful GoPro accessory. It all depends on what type of videos you're making, and what your video set or studio area is like. My son makes videos in a garage as he films ATV repair videos and bicycle repair videos. There are all kinds of things this could be clamped onto in a garage; it doesn't have to be just a tripod. The only problem I have with it is that it won't fit into my camera case. If I'd known from the outset how many GoPro accessories I'd have to buy, I might have purchased a larger case! Well, the tripod doesn't fit in there either. I will have to get some kind of secondary case for the tripod and the flex clamp mount when I start traveling. All in all, a great product, and I'm happy with my purchase! VERY happy... because I can now use the camera!

Strong, adjustable clamp
Very happy with this clamp. Strong clamp, adjustable arm, rubber protection in clamp so it doesn't scratch what you're clamping to. I used this on a Sea Doo, clamping to the grip and did lots of hard moves and the clamp itself never moved. The adjustable arm did move a little bit but I was hitting the waves pretty hard and going under water so it didn't move as much as I thought it would with all that abuse. I'd buy this again and do recommend it.

Comparison Review of the SAMETOP - Jaws Flex Clamp mount
Before I start a lengthy review, I'd like to state that I own both the GoPro Flex Clamp and now the Sametop Jaws Flex Clamp. Simply because I have more than one camera, for multi angle shots! So this is a review of the Sametop as compared to GoPro versions. "Apples to Apples" as we say in the South. Sametop once again offers a quality made product, at a very affordable price. This time they even improved it. As you can plainly see, both models are designed for quickly setting up your camera for a steady shooting position, in almost any location the clamp will fit on.. This device holds it's place by a very strong spring, that allows the user to squeeze the clamp open. Releasing it allows the clamp to close and hold its place. I was unable to measure the clamping pressure, but it is VERY strong. Which offers a great hold. (PRO -The spring tension felt a good bit stronger than the standard GoPro model). The Jaws open wide enough to easily fit a 2" thick (2" x 4") board. There is a quick connect base mount molded into the top of the clamp. From this base you can mount your Flexible arm, or just the camera. On both the GoPro And Sametop, there is a pair of gripping lips & gums on the ends & inside of the clamp. This helps the clamps to grip onto "what ever you clamped it to" and not slip or slide. The GoPro comes has a durable rubber inserts, where the Sametop has a durable nylon plastic inserts. Both models held on well when used on slick surfaces, like metal rails or flat fiberglass, etc. The Flexible arms are very similar. Both allow for positioning your action cameras into 360 degrees of camera angles. Both are made of the same materials (probably from the same manufacture?) Both have the male & female quick connect base mounts for your GoPro quick connect, mounting feet. Length: GoPro measured 6 1/8" versus the Sametop at 8 1/8 inches. (PRO) - I found that the extra length allowed for easier twisting and bending or the arm to get into the proper camera angles. But both did the job! If you have more than one arm, as in my case, you can even connect the two arms (Gopro & Sametop) together for additional length = 14 1/4 inches. When considering the strength of the flexible arm, as to hold up weight. Maybe you want to use it for holding a camera rigged with small lights, or just a light, or external microphone??? I did some field tests. I clamped both units to a metal legged, garage shelf, with the flexible arms extending out sideways (at 90 degrees from the shelf). I then hung lead shot, scuba diving weights to measure how much the arm would hold up. The shorter model, GoPro held up 3 pounds. The longer model, Sametop held up 2 pounds. When both arms were combined, they only held up 1 pound of weight. So, the shorter the better, at that angle! I think if you used it with light weight units - a small LED Light, or External Shotgun Microphone, you would be okay. Results of the Sametop - Pro's: High quality material, More affordable price (HELLO), Easily adds to with other attachments & arms, Strong tension spring, Longer 8 1/8" arm, 360 degree rotation & swivel, Medium strength of lift, almost unlimited possibilities to securely mount your camera. Con's - Nylon insert in the mouth of the Jaw clamp vs. rubber insert. All in all, the SAMETOP Jaws Flexible clamp is a well made, universal product. I have used it numerous times for quick set ups, and take downs, without having to use a bulky tripod, adhesive style mounts or bolt-on mounts. Connect it to just about anything solid. I'm glad I bought it, and highly recommend it.

Strong Clamping Action - Holds Well
I have a ridiculous amount and variety of action camera mounts but still find situations where I just can't seem to mount the camera in the position I want it to be in. I have some cheaper flexible leg mounts but they often slip and I definitely wouldn't trust them in situations where the camera could fall and be damaged. That's when I went looking for a jaws flex clamp mount and purchased the SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp. To start off, as other reviewers have mentioned the clamp on the SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp is a little hard to squeeze open, but that's the price you have to pay if you want a jaws clamp that will stay in place. And the SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp definitely has some strong clamping action and should stay in place in most situations. The seller says you can clamp SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp onto on anything in size from 0.25" to 2", however the clamp opens to roughly 1.75" which works for me. The plastic jaw pads allow you to clamp on to a flat surface such as a table edge, and the rubber strap insert allows the clamp to hold securely onto pipes, bars, etc. The sectioned goose neck is roughly 8" long (see pic) and is very stiff but seems to move a little more freely now that I have repositioned it a few times. The stiffness at first seems like a negative but I'd rather have a goose neck that is stiff and holds it's place than one that moves easily and won't hold its position. Finally the accessory attachment is permanently mounted to the end of the flexible goose neck. I've tried at least a dozen different mounts from various manufacturers and they all fit. So far I really like this SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp and it will most likely be one of my most used action camera mounts. Funny, I wanted to try and get a picture of the jaw clamps open with a measurement but I couldn't squeeze the clamp open and hold the camera in the right position at the same time. If I could have used the SAMETOP Jaws Flex Clamp to hold the camera I could have gotten the picture. I hope you found this information helpful. And as with all my reviews if I experience any issues or problems I’ll update this review.

A Great GoPro Mount - Worth Purchasing!
I decided to get the [Upgraded Ver] of the Sametop Jaws Flex Clamp after reading some good reviews. I had previously purchased another 3rd Party 3 Way (NOT SAMETOP! ...from another maker) and it was really a POS. So I was a little hesitant to purchase this. We recently took a trip to San Francisco and really one of the biggest reasons I bought the GoPro was so I could mount it to the GoCar I was going to rent in San Fran. So I figured I needed the clamp. I ended up not using the gooseneck and clamped the GoPro directly to the Roll Bar in the vehicle. It worked FLAWLESSLY! The very next day, we went to Alcatraz and I decided instead of using the 3rd Party 3 Way I bought as a stick to hold the GoPro I would use the Clamp and it actually fits and feels well as a handheld type of mount. The uses for the SameTop Jaws Flex are endless! I Highly Recommend this product! I included a frame grab of each of the different types of Applications I used this mount for recently.
