Have been using pro active plus for years! I’m a 48 year old woman and still experience breakouts. Proactiv keeps my skin clear. I only use it once a day and that works for me. Highly recommend if you are suffering from acne.

Good Product

I love this product. I’ve been using it over 4 years. It works well on my prone to break outs-sensitive skin. The only place I could buy it was on the website or at a keosk at the mall. They removed the keosk and I didn’t want to buy a prescription. So Amazon gives you the choice of 1 time ordering or subscription. So I ordered from Amazon and I am pleased I did. I will definitely order from here again.

I have used proactiv on and off for years. only reason I stopped using it was simply for the price. tried to cut corners and find something cheaper. well, NOTHING ELSE WORKS AS GOOD. Proactiv simply is by far my only go to for keeping my skin absolutely clear at all times. once you start using it, theres no changing! its worth every penny.

Falling In Love with Proactiv - (now with the Plus) - All Over Again.

[This review is for Proactive Plus ONLY]. Now a guy at 40 yrs. old, I [used to] use the Original Proactiv from the late 90's into the early 2000's - to 2004? And, I LOVED IT then and again, now with the Proactiv+. My acne was on the mild side then and currently now, with MOSTLY whiteheads on my nose and at times, some will get inflamed. I stopped using the Original Proactiv because I had clear skin and zero acne - well, everything came back during my college years and with exercising - running. And again, I had an acne free period, until now. After buying a whitehead extractor kit from Amazon and trying to remove whiteheads, I was making the problem worst and leaving dark marks on my nose, which wasn't a pretty sight. After some intense reading on whiteheads, I decided to "bite the bullet" and try Proactiv+. My main concern was dryness, since it seems that at age 40, I go DRY from winter to late spring. After 6 days of using this new line, my skin is: softer, smoother, and clearer (cleaner perhaps). The pores on my nose have gotten smaller and some have healed - less inflamed. The dark marks are far less noticeable, though still there. I HAD very mild dryness and redness on my cheeks during the first three days of use - I HAD BEEN using a AHA/BHA Toner, so I believe that added to the dryness and mild redness. My tips and tricks are: 1) use the cleanser (ONLY) during the day and use your regular day face lotion - I use Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer and I love it, for me, no burning in the eyes. 2) use the cleanser as a treatment mask to save on $$. I let it sit on my face for about 15 minutes. I also did this back-in-the-days. 3) using only the cleaner during the day along with your day face lotion, your skin will tend to be less dry. 4) apply two light applications, at different intervals, of the Proactiv+ Hydrator Face Lotion before hitting the bed. 5) use the Pore Target Treatment and Hydrator Face Lotion at night ONLY - this way, you are letting the product go to work while you sleep. 6) use an eye cream/lotion at night as well. I refuse to pay $45 for Proactiv+ eye cream. I use CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion around my eyes - apply around and outside of the eye area. This seems to help with the dryness. It's light weight and has some very good ingredients and cost $10. Lastly, use white pillow cases cause it WILL dye color sheets, unless you don't care. On the 5th day, my dryness/redness eased and skin looked clear/clean. My partner noticed the difference over dinner and with him, he doesn't hold back. So I was glad when he looked at me and smile - noticed something was different. I say, STAY with it and use it how/when you want. I hope this helps the people who are dealing with dryness. FYI, Proactiv also carries a Gentle formula and a Extra Strength formula on their website, in the member section.
