Long and large rolls

I tend to vacuum pack a lot of food since a few months. I ran out of the packs I had so it was time to renew my stock. The good thing about taking very large rolls is that you can cut them to any size you want. Starting from small does not allow you such flexibility. 11''x 50' (x2) should last me a long time. I tested them with vacuum sealing some marinades and there is no leak (as expected) and the bags seems sturdy. The price was also right so I am fully satisfied therefore 5 stars...

Great for vaccuum sealing meat/fish.

Works like you would hope they would. The only thing missing is the lines on the edges to ensure a straight cut, but for the price, I can do without. I vacuum sealed a couple of deers, not the whole carcass obviously. The meat is looking great in the freezer and no signs of any air leaks. Hard to believe you get this much product for the price. Solid 9.5/10, would buy again.

Good stuff

I've used the first roll to the point it now fits in my FoodSaver vacuum sealer. This is a sturdy, well made product that surpasses the manufacture's brand at a fraction of the cost.

Seal well, don't leak.

Works much better than the vacuum bags that came with my vacuum sealer. They seal well and don't leak air. The bags that came with my sealer leaked and/or wouldn't seal properly. At first I thought it was the sealer itself but then I tried different bags and I haven't had any issues since I started using these.

Cheap but good vacuum sealers

My husband goes fishing as a hobby. He always bring a lot of fish specially a fillet of big giant tuna ranging from 60 LBS - 200+ LBS. We love this vacuum sealers in keeping our tuna steak good for couple of months.

works very well

I like these bags. I bought these after i ran out of the stock ones that came with my foodsaver vacuum sealer. As is, they are too big to fit in the built-in compartment of the foodsaver so i just re-rolled half of it so that it would fit. I haven't tried to seal anything with bones yet, but it looks like it'll hold up without worries of puncturing. These bags have sealed pretty well with both dry and wet foods. These don't have 'markers" to help with a straight cut like the foodsaver stock rolls did, but I can live without it. I'll be buying more when I run out. Update 9-17-16: So I've been researching sous vide style cooking and they apparently require sealed bags that can handle boiling (duh) without leaching chemicals. I've noticed not all bags specifically mention they are safe for sous vide or boiling. Luckily, looking back, this one says it is. Once my sous vide machine arrives and I get a chance to try it out with these bags, I'll be sure to post an update on how well it held up in the boiling water. :) update 1-5-17: Well I've been using these with the sous vide machine and they seem to hold up perfectly well in the 170F temp waters for 3.5 hrs. Which is the highest temp and longest time I've used them in the machine for. Can't tell if it's leaching chems though from the temps, but I don't notice any "unusual" tastes so i'm guessing it's not, I'm hoping it's not :) It's serving me well though in all my needs, I'm almost out so about to buy some more :)

Works perfectly with my FoodSaver machine, so far so good. The value of this cannot be beat. I cannot tell any difference between this and the roll that came with the machine besides the appearance. My steaks are not getting freezer burn when using this bag. I see some reviews complaining about how these will not fit into the machine's built in holder. That is true, but this should be obvious when the original roll that came with the machine is only 10 feet long, while these are 50 feet. These rolls are massive, so they will last you quite some time.

Great product!

These are fab! They're so much less than the name brand and work great. There are no problems with sealing at all. The rolls are too big to fit in the Food Saver, but I don't care about that. Just use scissors to cut the size you need. I find that works better anyway; then you can cut exactly the size you need. The cost savings is well worth cutting your own size.

Same Quality as Brand Name Options

I have been pleasantly surprised with these vacuum sealing bags. I have been using them with my Food Saver sealer for freezing, and these bags hold up just as well as the brand name ones. I will buy them again.

Great substitute for the official FoodSaver bags

Great substitute for the official FoodSaver bags, work great and haven't had any issues. Only problem is that the rolls are so packed that they don't fit in the holder in my FoodSaver, so you might want to keep an extra tube around to roll the bags on to and make smaller rolls. Not too big a deal though.
