Perfect solution for my Alera Elusion Highback office chair - makes it perfect!
These office chair wheels are the bomb. They fit my Alera Elusion Highback chair absolutely perfectly, and are a significant upgrade from the stock casters that came with the chair. Overall, I have been hugely satisfied by the chair, but with these babies on the floor, the chair is just about perfect. I am a remote worker, and it was extremely important for me to have a good ergonomic set up for my home office. I have been using the Elusion chair for over 2 1/2 years, and paired with a standard Ikea office table and a Varidesk with an articulating arm for my 27 inch monitor, I have a set up that works well. One of the limitation that required a little adjustment was that, at the highest setting, the chair was just a hair too low, so I had to resort to using chair pads which weren't ideal. With these wheels, the chair is at a height that just exceeds my needs, so now I can actually LOWER my seat for ergonomic comfort. What a benefit. The wheels are constructed very well (they could work well on any roller blade), and allows me to move my chair smoothly and easily. This set is highly recommended, and paired with the Alera Elusion, you can have a totally flexible office chair that rivals the Aeron best in class solution at about 1/5th the cost. Very happy.

Fast and easy to install. Whisper quiet. What's not to like?
I had new hardwood floors put in and wanted to ensure that my office chairs didn't mark up the floor. After researching some quality chair mats that were near $100, I found these replacement casters as an alternative. Based on the reviews of this product as compared with the much cheaper ones, I elected to pay the extra for 'better quality'. I have 2 office chairs from Costco (one is a True Innovations brand, not sure about the other). In any case, I received my order via 1-day Prime (which still amazes me that it's a 'thing'). The product arrived on-time and in good packaging, with each caster individually wrapped in a bubble sleeve. It took me all of 2 minutes to pull the old casters off (by hand) and insert the new ones on each chair. I really like the visual consistency of not having to have a chair mat under my desks. I also immediately noted that the new casters are nearly silent when you roll your chair, which was an unexpected bonus. I was concerned that the chair might be a little TOO easy to roll, but in practice so far, I find that it does not bother me at all (if this is a big concern for you, you might want to stick with a mat that has some 'give' to it). I've only had these things installed for a few days so far, but so far so good. I'm 100% satisfied. If anything changes that in the future, I will update my review accordingly.

Awesome Company that Puts the Customer First
UPDATE: I originally gave this product a one-star review. I have changed other reviews in the past, but this is my first time taking a review from one-star to five-star. After what I mentioned in my review (below), the company reached out to me to make it right and sent me an full replacement set. Because they went above and beyond to remedy the situation and I tested one of the replacement wheels (cautiously; but pretty forcefully), I decided to write the ordeal off as a fluke. I am now very pleased with these wheels. I live in a historic home with very old wood floors. I can roll all over the place without worrying about scratching the floors and the wheels themselves make zero noise. Now, I can honestly say that I HIGHLY recommend these wheels; particularly through this seller. Customer service is beyond excellent and this is truly a great product. ORIGINAL REVIEW:Literally, one snapped under my chair. I'm not even that heavy. I hit the floor because it caught me off guard.

Impressed With The Product, Even More With The Company Behind It
I would rate these a five, but one of them failed on me (see photo). They're smooth and far superior to the garbage casters that come with most office chairs. I was using these on a chair mat, so don't understand the fail, but I guess anything that can happen, will, at some point. I'd recommend them, but right now, I can't sit in my chair because of them. EDIT: Wanted to edit my original review. I was contacted very quickly by the company and offered a full replacement set of casters, even though only one was defective. I am super impressed with the level of customer service I've received and I would, without hesitation, recommend these casters to anyone. My original 4-star review is now a 5-star.

Smooth-rolling, quality wheels. A couple of caveats, though.
These wheels seem to be very well made. They're heavy. That's mainly due to the thick steel armature and the general quality feel of the materials. They roll very smoothly and swivel much more easily than standard cheap plastic wheels. Though I have a hardwood floor, I can imagine that due to their diameter they'd roll nicely on carpet. They're a tremendous upgrade from your average chair wheels. Due to their quality and being perfectly as-described, I've given them 5 stars. But I'll be returning them due to 2 issues that are specific to my situation. But they may also prove to be issues for you, so I figured I'd make note: - Maybe it's just me, but nowhere in the description do I see the height of the wheels mentioned. I bought these along with a new chair. The manufacturer-supplied wheels added 2" to the overall height; These add a hair over 3.5". Keep that in mind before purchasing, because in my case they made the chair too high, even at its minimum adjustment. - As I said, they roll very smoothly. Too smoothly, if your floor isn't level. Mine is not, but only by a small margin. Rather humorously, the chair would have a tendency to drift away from my desk if I took my feet off the floor. Needless to say it would also escape when I got up. In that regard the high-friction cheap wheels are better.

Had two old wheels fight me removing, wheels came off, leaving the stud pins. Apply pliers length wise, and pull!
I have a Herman Miller desk chair, one of the best desk chairs you could possibly want, however, the wheels started showing their age and condition when we went from Berber carpet to Porcelin tile flooring. My biggest headache was black marks on the tile which would require a single edge razor blade and sometimes a little lighter fluid to remove. I had "high hopes" for these wheels when I purchased them, anything less than exceptional would have been a disappointment! These wheels from the time I put them on and the time it took me to finally clean my tile flooring, I have had a very good opinion how these wheels will perform and stand up to my everyday use! These wheels "ROCK" ! I can't say they feel like roller blades, as I don't know what they feel like, but these wheels feel so very soft in any movement, I like them being transparent clear, no more black marks! Office Oasis says I have a lifetime warranty; I'd be willing to bet the wheels will stand up to everything I can throw at it! Way to go Oasis!

We had just had our floors refinished as I had literally destroyed the finish with the hard plastic wheels of my Herman Miller Aeron chair. I was really reluctant to put a plastic matt over the beautiful new hardwood so when I saw these ( and all the great reviews) I was excited. Suffice to say these are the real deal. They are fantastic quality ( and I'm someone who really cares about that) and I would recommend them to anyone.

Works on carpet much better than expected but as advertised
I bought a new desk chair with the same casters my other chair had. I already had trouble on a medium to thick pile carpet so I tried these. They work much better on carpet than the standard casters you get. With standard casters, you sit a few hours and can't roll out of the depression in the carpeting without twisting something or just standing and moving the thing. These may need a bit of a nudge but roll up out of the depression without forcing you to rock madly or get out of the chair. May sound silly but I've pulled out my back more than once trying to get closer to a monitor when my chair is not interested in moving with me. I checked the reviews and learned these are standard fittings for most chairs, All the same, they were a bit difficult to insert and I had to use a screwdriver and hammer to get a couple into the fittings. Overall, quite pleased. Might consider buying another set if they make them with flashing lights or colors :)

Fast, quiet, and does not leave marks on the floor
After moving into a home with an office that had wood floors, I not only replaced my office chair - but also the standard casters that came with it. Initially, I was concerned that these kinds of wheels would leave marks that you could see when the light hits the floor at a certain angle. I have been using the chair with for several hours daily over the past few months and finally feel comfortable leaving a review based on real-world, everyday use. They were extremely easy to install and I did so without ever putting the wheels that came with my chair on. They solidly clicked into the base of the chair without too much effort. I did not have to strain or bang on them with a hemmer to get them in…they just fit. They look great, they started off clear but the outer edges eventually dull with the dirt and dust from the floor. This is to be expected and they can be easily cleaned (which should be done occasionally anyway). They really do remind me of rollerblade wheels. They are super quiet (no audible noise) and do not scratch the floor at all. Initially, I was concerned that they would leave marks that were only visible in certain light from rubbing off onto the floor. That did not happen. They glide smoothly and allow me to move the chair quickly and easily. They turn with no effort and have not had any issues turning the right way. I can honestly say that I am extremely pleased with how these perform while protecting my floor. I have included a picture of the floor (with and without the angle of light would show marks) where my chair sits most of the time and you can see for yourself that there are no scratches, marks, or issues of any kind. I am glad I went with these instead of a floor mat that would change the look of the room and limit where I could go. Pros: Fast Quiet Protects the floor Does not leave marks of any kind Fits on standard chair wheel base Cons: Occasionally need to be cleaned, but not a big deal at all

Wheels Don't Mark Wood Floors
These wheels were easy to install and work great on our kitchen chairs. We recently got wood floors and the other wheels that were on the chairs left marks and grooves in the wood. We put the chairs on coasters but the coasters were a pain because they would slide and sometimes come out from under the wheels. So when we found these and all the reviews said "no marking of wood floors" we bought a set of five just to give them a try. They're great! No marks or scratches on the floor and they roll easy. They make the chair sit up a little higher but we like that too. We will be ordering more for the rest of the chairs in the kitchen and maybe for the office chair as well.
