This little gem is so much more than a cover. Not only does it protect the screen but, it puts my Kindle to sleep when I flip it closed so I don't have to worry about the battery. It's also sturdy & protects my Kindle very well in case of dropping. I love this product, wouldn't be able to carry my Kindle around in my purse without it.

Good Accessory for Kindle E-Reader

Fits well on the Kindle, easy to install, and makes a nice compact package that's smaller and lighter than a regular paperback. If you get your Kindle without Ads, then you can flip open the cover and it automatically goes to the page where you left off. Otherwise, you would have to clear the ad to start reading again.

Grandma Loves Her Kindle Case!

I was very surprised when my 75 year old grandmother in law fell in love with the Kindle I gave her. She uses it every day and when she saw my case, she had to have one too. I ordered this for her and she really likes it. She likes being able to open the case and activate the device without having to worry about locking and unlocking the screen. For her, it's all about making it easier to use, and this definitely helps. It also protects it when she slips it into her purse and reads in the waiting room at the doctor's office or salon.

I like the color selection

This cover was a surprise. I have 3 Kindles; each a different version, so each needs a different cover. I like the color selection; I chose blue. I like the easy open tab and that it puts my Kindle to sleep whenever I close the cover. It is easy to keep clean and seems to be sturdy enough to protect the Kindle from most wear and tear, including dropping it on the floor (don't ask). I would recommend it to anyone.

USEFUL/MYSTERIOUS

Once again I have nothing but praise for Amazon! I love this cover to my Kindle. I love the pretty blue color, but I really, really love the fact that when I open the cover the Kindle turns on and when I close the cover it turns the Kindle off. It's a mystery to me how it works - all I know is that it DOES work! I love it! It looks so classy. Oh, and I was supposed to get it day-after-tomorrow, but I've already had it about a week! I love that it comes earlier than they predict. I wish all companies did as well as Amazon!

I have enjoyed my Kindle right from the start

I have enjoyed my Kindle right from the start. Sometimes I wish I had gotten one that had a backlight. For the price, this one is amazing. Although, I hope hard copies are always there for everyone, I am happy to have my allergy-free Kindle.

Haven't had any issues yet. Been durable for me

As far as durability goes, I've had this case for a few months and haven't had any problems with the corners chipping or break off, or the cover causing any issues. I use my Kindle nightly to read before bed, and will also throw it in my messenger bag every morning in the rare chance that I might have 10-15 min of downtime during the day where I can pull out my Kindle and squeeze in a chapter. The magnetic closure with the on/off works fine, and it fits the Kindle like a glove (as it should). I've been wary that there could be quality control issues with things breaking off since there's so many reviews of that happening, but so far I would have to say that my cover is doing well. I'm not the most careful person either and I'm not babying the case, so it's being exposed to what I would say is the standard amount of abuse a case should be expected to handle, and so far so good.

Yes, I definitely recommend this cover

I had difficulty getting my new 8th Generation basic Kindle into this cover but I did finally manage it. It snaps in. Yes, it is THAT snug. But I really like that all I have to do is open the cover to turn on my Kindle and that when I close the cover the Kindle goes back to sleep. Once I realized that I was not going to be taking the Kindle out of the cover (as I always had with my Kindle Keyboard), I was worried if the Kindle would be too heavy to hold one-handed. This 8th generation is lighter than the Paperwhite. It has been fine holding it one-handed (except that I need to avoid hitting the reset button on the bottom). If you have an 8th generation Kindle, I strongly recommend you get this cover made precisely for this Kindle!

GREAT!!! Light. You can turn the cover back so that you can read with one hand. I love turning it on and off just by opening or closing the cover. Also like the looks. I have only had it for five weeks, but it has seen lots of use.

Really nice and lightweight. It protects my kindle from any scratches and I love how the white kindle looks with this white and gray cover. It doesn’t add any weight to your kindle I can still hold it with one hand
