My dream envelope!

Take a great envelope, then dip it in gold, then take away the gold... and what are you left with? A great envelope! What's not to like? Stop overthinking, click the "buy" button, and move on with your life! When these arrive, you won't be excited (these are just envelopes after all), but every time you reach for one in the future, you'll pause, think of this review, and chuckle... so in a sense, these envelopes really are life-changing! :-)

Should work well for my home use. Would buy again.

(I purchased a box of 100 #10) I will use these for home. I am happy with them. The self stick seal works well; the seal protector strip pulls off easily. Under the flap, the length of the sticky area is 8 1/2 " wide where as the entire envelope's length is 9 1/2"; so there is 1/2 inch on each end of the flap that is not glued shut but I'd say that is typical - unless you need a 100% seal. The height of the sticky area is plenty sufficient at 1/2". So the sticky area is about 8 1/2"W by 1/2"T and is plenty sufficient for me to close the envelop. The cut, trim, and creases of the envelope looks good to me. Compared these dimensions to another manufacture and they matched to within 1/100". These are good quality and good value for my casual use. Yes I would buy again. 6/15/2018

Quality

It's odd to get excited over envelopes but after having a difficult time finding high quality envelopes these made me happy. High quality paper, security tinted, simple non-messy peel and stick closing. All, at a reasonable price. I'd ordered these a year or more ago and looked thru my amazon orders so I could re-order and get the quality I want.

Good envelopes

I've spent many years mailing stuff. So when I ordered these envelopes I expected, well envelopes. When the package arrived, I was shocked!!! The box had absolutely no defects. The suns brilliant light reflected of the pristine packaging; forming a glorious dance of patterns onto my wall. I new that these were the holy grail of envelopes. I hurried to open them. Excited! Gliding into place like a silken scarf through the fingers of a womans soft hands the parcel took its place. Now I turned my attention to the "Quik Seal". With a pull of the protective backing it was now ready. With a slight twist of the wrist and small gesture of hand, what normally took seconds dwindle to uncountable fractions. I'm amazed surely there has to be a flaw. Ah! The security must be the down fall of such a marvelous beginning. I held up the envolope to the still dancing lights of the sun. There was nothing, not even a small glimpse of the secrets that it hides. In other words, I would buy these again!

Beyond all expectation

I was looking for a nice, heavy envelope with a good seal that didn't have to be licked. THIS is it!! In all the envelopes I've bought over many years, this is by far the best. I will never go back to any other brand! (I know it's just an envelope but, I even feel better and more professional when I use this envelope.)

Good quality product, very good envelopes

I really don't understand some of the poor reviews. I hesitated buying these because of them and now that I have the product and have started using them, I have to question the authenticity of those reviews. Are they from a competing brand? The glue sticks incredibly well, much better than the last box I had from another brand. And the security pattern inside the envelope is extremely good. I placed a single check, held it up to bright light, and could not make out a thing. Buy these if you're wondering which brand to go with. I did not receive this product for free.

EXPECTATIONS ACHIEVED

There is just something about getting exactly what you asked for. A burger is so satisfying when you want a burger, an ice cream cone when the sun is blazing, magic. When I had mail to send and I needed some envelopes, not 500, I'm not a postal big-wig, not 25, I'm not trying to send invites to an 8-year-old's birthday party, 100 envelopes for the well-rounded, middle class man looking for any way possible to represent himself as the sharp, suave human he works so diligently in every facet of his life to represent, these envelopes exceed that. They say to the recipient, "Listen, I've got a little jangle in my pocket, but I'm not about to blow it on some overpriced materials just for the sake of status quo. I'm a trend setter, a renaissance man of sorts, with nothing to prove but simply that I make educated decisions to continue to get the most out of my life and every single item in it. Let these envelopes be your blank canvas for whatever statement you are trying to make, the vessel for whatever words you need to say or whatever monetary generosities you are sharing with another. Mail will continue to live on because of items like these. Buy these envelopes. Make the decision that you would never expect to improve your life.

Fine product at a good price

Recently I needed to reorder self-sealing business envelopes, but found that the ones I previously ordered and liked, while still available, no longer qualify for Amazon Prime, and the shipping charge was equal to the cost of the envelopes! Time to look elsewhere. Researching alternatives on Amazon, I found that although these Aimoh envelopes received overall quite good reviews, there were also several less positive reviews that identified some potential key problems, such as insufficient weight and opacity of the envelope, and a weak seal. Here is what I found: I think the seal is quite good. Immediately after sealing, I tried to reopen the envelope. I had to put some effort into pulling (more than is needed to remove the protective strip), but I was able to eventually reopen the envelope cleanly, so that after resealing it was not obvious that it had been opened and re-closed. Then I waited a day and did it again. This time the seal was more difficult to break, and afterwards it was clear that it had been sealed and opened. I guess it depends on what you are asking this envelope to do for you. If you are concerned about someone secretly opening the letter, studying the contents, and re-closing without leaving a trace, this envelop may or may not be adequate, depending on the time between when you sealed the envelope and when the envelope is secretly opened. However, if your goal is to have a convenient envelope that can be trusted to not spontaneously open and spill its contents in transit, I really think this product is going to be reliable and is much more than adequate. Likewise, the weight and opacity seem more than adequate. When I held the envelope containing a check up to natural light, there was no indication the envelope contained a check. When I held the envelope up to my desk lamp, right on the lamp shade, I could see the shadow of the check, but I couldn't read it. Again, that's good enough for me. I'm quite happy with my purchase. Now, when I pay the few bills that don't come with an addressed envelope, it is costing me only 9 cents for the envelope. If I had gone with the brand I used before - which might be nominally better quality, it would have cost me 23 cents - just for the envelope! Perhaps this distinction only looms large to me because I still remember ice cream cones costing a nickel. Whatever. Psychologically I am delighted I took a chance on Aimoh!

Good quality security envelopes

These envelopes are bright white and non see through. They are made of a higher grade paper stock than the normal envelopes I buy ar the drugstore. They are also self sealing and easy to purchase through Amazon. All in all they are not flimsy weak envelopes like you purchase in stores. You could tell just by feeling them that they are made of a high quality paper stock. Very pleased with them.

Excellent!

There's not much to say about an envelope, but these are great for the price! They stay closed even after running through a laser printer (this is a problem I've faced before!) Good quality of paper, you can't see what's inside due to the security printing, and above all, the price is right. Yes, yes, if you do a ton of mailing, it's cheaper to buy the comparable 500-pack from another seller, but it would take me the rest of my life to send 500 letters!
