This is the second USB mic I have tried and I like this one a lot. It simple to install depending upon what software you are using. I like the sound quality the best! The first mic I tried didn’t work. The sound was very scratchy and sound unprofessional. This Microphone is great. The sound is clear and I don’t hear any glitching or scratchy sounds in the background. This is great for studio style recordings. It’s great at isolating the sounds from the main source and separating them from any background noise. I’m a singer and it picks up the dynamics in my voice really well. It is not like being in a studio of course but it’s great for at home recordings or for doing podcasts or just skyping. I like the little tripod it comes with as it makes it easy to set up and to put away. It already has its own spot on my desk. The non-tangling cord is great too because my cat just loves cords. I would recommend this Mic to anyone needing a quality USB mic!

At first I did not know what to expect due to the low price of this item, but once I tested it the audio quality of this device really blew me away. Not only that but the build quality of the item is fairly solid. The body is made out of anodized aluminum with steel parts, which makes it super rigid. The cord is fairly nice and thick, which reduces the chance of the ends of it getting strained and breaking the wires internally. The tripod that comes with it is fairly rigid and reduces the chances of the microphone slipping or picking up vibrations from the surface it is sitting on. The tripod can be easily removed in order for it to be placed in a microphone arm fairly easily. The pop/wind filter is fairly good and reduces the noise from breathing if you are talking very close to the microphone. The microphone also is plug and play and works even in the most obscure operating system. I use a custom configuration of Manjaro Linux as my operating system and the K668 worked well out of the box on it. I am also the owner of a Blue Yeti microphone and I compared the audio of both microphones as well and I found that the audio of this microphone is far better than the one in the Yeti in my opinion. This microphone has better reproduction of the mids which makes any voice recordings sound fairly crisp. Again for the price, you cannot beat this deal.

Got this microphone for livestreaming and it works pretty well. Got it to work on my mid 2012 macbook pro running 10.12.3 and using OBS 0.16.2 (mac) with little to no issues (mostly just set up stuff that you can watch tutorials for on youtube). Just beware that the microphone works VERY well and will pick up other sounds besides you, especially if you're not using it in a sound proof room. I live on a busy street and the microphone can pick up most of the street noises, but thats on me and not anything negative about this microphone. Other than that the sound quality is good and haven't had any issues and it mounts nicely onto the InnoGear Microphone Suspension Mic Clip Adjustable Boom Studio Scissor Arm Stand for Blue Snowball Blue Yeti Microphone I purchased along with this microphone (a mount adapter comes with the microphone so it will work with most universal arm mounts). All in all, good purchase.

I bought this microphone to meet my need for a mobile mic that I didn’t have to worry about breaking and that could easily travel with out any additional power or interfaces. I’ve had many other mics such as the Zoom H4n, Audio Technica AT4040 and many from the blue yeti series but none of them were good for mobile situations (in fact my blue mic’s stand is decimated after a summer of travel).

I needed something small and plug and hassle free. I came across the K668 and it was an awesome bang for buck. It plugged straight into my Mac and was immediately recognized. This thing works great for conference calls, voice overs, gaming and everything I threw at it. I was blown away on what this little microphone could produce at this price. It also could take a nice beating and tossing around with no issues in performance or reliability. Over the last few weeks of carrying this around and doing recordings on business trips, here are my thoughts (in non-video) Pros: >Light and easy to travel with >Easy to break down and stand up >Plug and Play - self-installing drivers (both Mac and PC) >Pretty good ambient noise cancelling >Amazingly clear sound and comparable to more expensive microphones >Comes with Wind Screen >Nice Long and sturdy Cord >Good tilt adjustability Cons >Stand only locks into one height >Would have preferred a detachable cable for easier and safer storage and carry >No carry bag >No on-board recording modes, onboard monitoring or level adjustments (however I did not really expect that from a 20 dollar microphone). -UtmostCoin

As a first time podcaster, I didn't want to break the bank on equipment. I simply needed a quality mic to use with a software mixer, and boy am I impressed by this one! As my podcast has grown to include others, I ended up buying 2 more of these microphones. Everyone has been thoroughly impressed by the sound quality produced by these little guys! Speaking of sound quality, if you are reading through these reviews and see negative comments about it, do yourself a favor as I did and research for yourself - there are a couple minor volume adjustments you will need to make on the computer itsself for the best sound. The simple fact is these microphones are tiny powerhouses! The build quality is sturdy as well, thus I've had no worries as I've taken them out and about for traveling episodes and interviews. I highly recommend them, especially for anyone who's first starting out that may not have a huge equipment budget.

I got this after I got fed up with my Logitech G930 headset. I have Windows 7 and it had no problems detecting the mic and installing drivers for it automatically. The first responses I got when I started to use this mic is that I sounded much, MUCH clearer and with almost no static or feedback. I've used it with Skype, Steam, and Discord with few problems. There have been a number of times when people complained that I was coming in too quiet, but I'm soft-spoken so I'm not sure if it was the mic or just me. There was also one time when Discord refused to detect the mic, but then I unplugged and plugged it back in, restarted the app, and it was fine again. It's a decently sized mic and stand as well. From the end of the puff guard to the start of the cable is approx. 6in. as is the spread between each tine of the tripod. It stands about 7.5in. tall with the stand angled 70-80 degrees. The range is a little peculiar, but it was a minor adjustment to deal with so I won't take a star off for it. However, when I'm talking, it won't be detect my voice if I'm more than 2-3ft away, but it can still pick up my washer more than 20ft away in another room, so it seems to be able to register lower frequency sounds more easily than mid- to high-range. I've had this mic for a few months now and I have no desire to go back to a headset again. If you're debating on making the switch, I recommend making this the one you try out.

I ordered this mic to record voice over for whiteboard animations I created. I recorded using Audacity with this mic and didn't have any problems from a technical standpoint. I plugged the mic into a USB port and Audacity immediately recognized the mic. The sound quality was perfect for what I was doing; I can't vouch for how it would sound recording music, but it was perfect for my voice recording. The USB cord is long enough for me to plug it into my computer, which sits on the floor, and be able to place the mic anywhere I wanted on top of my desk to record. The stand is an added bonus, particularly if you need to turn pages or do something else with your hands while you are recording. Great deal for a mic that records nice sound quality.
