This case is a much better quality than I expected! In fact, I am writing this review using the keyboard case. As many other reviews mention, the case is a little difficult to get used to, as it is smaller than your typical keyboard. That being said, it functions just how you would want and expect it to. I am a flight attendant and therefore always on the go, so lugging around my heavy laptop was getting to be a real hassle. My solution was to get an iPad mini, however I found that I needed to make sure it was protected in my bag and I wanted a keyboard for the ease of editing my documents and order forms while on the road. I found this case to be reasonably priced, professional looking, and overall well functioning! (I read reviews of other products that didn't seem to have the same luxury). The only complaint I have is that the magnet holding the keyboarding is not very strong and sometimes when you push the screen too hard it will fall over because it does not have a strong anchor. Overall, for the price, this is a great case and keyboard.

My friend spent $100 on the ClamCase Pro for her iPad Mini 4. I wanted something similar for my iPad Mini 2, but in a lower price range. I looked at several different keyboard cases from Logitech, ZAGG, ClamCase, etc. and ultimately decided to try this one because of the reasonable price, Alpatronix's return policy, and the positive reviews. I couldn't have chosen a better case. It's amazing. Alpatronix even threw in a 50% rebate and instructions on how to activate a 1-year warranty. If you're used to carrying around a slim iPad, the case might seem slightly bulky at first. The keyboard is easy to configure and comes with a USB charging cable. The keyboard is also removable, and personally, I think the magnet to attach it to the case is pretty strong and holds the keyboard in place, although others seem to be having trouble with it. My iPad Mini 2 fits snugly, just be sure to tightly fold the strap over the side of your iPad to make sure it won't fall out. Some of the punctuation keys on the keyboard are placed differently from a normal keyboard, such as the semicolon, which is next to the spacebar. In comparison with my friend's case: $30 vs $100, identical keyboards except for the placement of the punctuation keys, you have the ability to remove the keyboard, and the leather case provides more protection for your iPad. Both great cases, but why pay more? Thanks so much, Alpatronix!!!

This is a great leather case for my iPad Mini 3. It fit inside of it perfectly! I also love the mini keyboard that I can remove with ease to charge! I don’t have to use the whole case to charge the wireless Bluetooth keyboard. That is so convenient to me. The wireless Bluetooth keyboard attaches to the leather case with magnets and it doesn’t move when you are typing on it. It is a mini keyboard so it does take some getting use too. When I tried to set up the mini keyboard through Bluetooth, it didn’t work at first but all I did was turn off my WiFi device and the mini keyboard and turn them back on again and they paired just fine. The leather case is wide enough to move the mini keyboard down so that you are able to stand the iPad up for easy typing and viewing. It is genuine leather and I also love the color! I have no problem closing my case once I am done using my iPad and the mini keyboard. Everything just snaps into place with the magnets. *I purchased this item with my own money and my review is my honest opinion.

As a first experience with a Bluetooth keyboard case, KX101 Apatronix, I had to learn how to utilize a live keyboard instead of on-board, and what to do if I did not want to use the keyboard. It is removable. Out of the box, I did note a slight defect in the upper edge of the case. This does not allow easy access to the volume or mute buttons. The instructions state to slide the iPad into the case and secure with Velcro. This case does not have any Velcro, so the iPad sags in its place. This causes difficulty using the camera. The sag also makes access to the bottom taskbar difficult. The case is well made overall and looks very nice. It feel durable and sleek. I like the magnetic hold part of the case to keep the keyboard in place. I feel like I need to slip the keyboard lower for me to feel comfortable in typing. This allowed the keyboard to drop a couple times until I got used to making sure it was in place before moving. The keyboard was unharmed. The keyboard did not pair immediately the first time I tried, but after that it was smooth. Wonderfully, the work time is very long, and standby is very long. Even has special keys, that I had to learn! I am enjoying this case and would recommend it to others. And what a pink!

Just recieved the case and I couldn't be happier. Well made, expensive looking and the color is very pretty. The color is a a little darker than the picture appears. Between magenta and fuscha. But not hot pink as I was expecting. Keys are a little closer than I like but still very usable once you get used to holding your finger closer together. I use to a Surface Pro 3 keyboard so it was easy for me to adjust. I'm a sales rep with a large territory and I recently got an iPad mini for maintaining SAP C4C customer relations notes. It is sooo much easier now that I have this case and keyboard. Now can travel with just the iPad mini and stay contacted via netmail, do expenses via Concur App and enter orders via a Mobile Ordering App all while looking good with an expensive looking case and removable leather clad keyboard. Apatronix also emailed me the day the case was delivered to make sure I was happy with my purchase. If I was not happy... get this, I could reply to that email to let them know. How many companies make it that easy to reach. Maybe it's the small things that make me happy but I appreciate a company who respects my time and doesn't make it hard to reach them if I'm not satisfied. I will definitely recommend to friends and be sure to tell people about my experience with this company when they ask about my great looking case!

While my original mini ipad isn't as fast as newer ones, this case and keyboard allows me to substitute it for my laptop on trips when I only need to access, read, and respond briefly to emails. I don't use the onscreen keyboard often enough to get used to it, and I need a bit of tactile feel. For under $30, I've now got a computer that can tuck into almost any bag vs. a news article reader (which is all I was using it for before). Pick color is quite robust, darker than pictured so not 'little girl-y' and certainly vibrant = easy to spot in a bag or around luggage items.

This is an excellent case and keyboard for the iPad mini. Unlike others I've tried, the keys are not too close together, and don't have some odd locations for punctuation in order to make them fit on a smaller keyboard. I've tried some keyboards/cases where the top keys are so close to the screen that my fingers would touch the screen while trying to type, making weird things happen on the touch screen. The top keys of this keyboard are far enough away. The keyboard can be removed from the case, giving you the ability to put it anywhere that works best for you. The only suggestion I have for improvement is this: The iPad fits into a sleeve that has a flap that tucks under it to secure the iPad in the case. This flap tends to move, making the iPad move and end up not centered in the case, which makes touching the screen on the edge difficult. I fixed this by putting a piece of Velcro on the flap, securing the flap in place and not enabling the iPad to move around. The manufacturer should consider adding this.

Very sturdy and easy to set up. The price was also really reasonable. I love how the keyboard has a range of 30 feet. Also love how you can 'nest' it with magnetic backing or pull it out, which is recommended while in use. Everything has it's place, and it's neat, tidy, and secure. Case also looks sleek and professional, I got the black one. A must for an iPad Mini user, really makes the whole experience ten times better! I had a Logitech snap on ultra thin keyboard case for my old IPad Mini, and while I loved it, it really didn't protect the back of the device well. Over time I dinged up one of the corners on the keyboard and a few keys came out! Oops, I managed to find the keyboard keys though, so I was lucky. This keyboard looks a lot more sturdy in cases of accidental droppage. I would recommend this product to other iPad Mini users. It was hard to register my product online using my IPad's mobile internet, so I would recommend registering it on the web on your laptop or desktop computer and not on mobile. This was slightly annoying but that's just a heads up. Overall though, I am very pleased with my purchase. :)

Great cover/keyboard etc. I was VERY skeptical for the claims this had for the price. Keyboard is AWESOME!! The keys are a little bit raised which makes it far easier for me to use as I have a few "issues" with my hands and the Bluetooth works for my IPhone too! I'm NOT savvy with electronics but my Cell Phone linked immediately but my tablet had a few minor issues which was on my end. GREAT Customer Support. The Case is extremely durable and REALLY protects the IPad. Being Disabled brings a few challenges and trying to keep delicate/high end Tablets, computers etc from getting damaged from accidental drops etc is Paramount! Can't say enough great things. I love the way the keyboard easily separates from the case to use it from a distance. Very happy with this and for the price you really can't go wrong. Update: I can't possibly rave about this! After reading through some other comments about the case not staying closed here's a solution...the mini keyboard keys MUST be facing upward so when case is closed the soft keys on keyboard are sitting against the IPad. This makes the case FIRMLY hold closed even when accidentally thrown down and it hits the bottom end, sides and along "spine" of case without ZERO damage!! Being a wheelchair user this case has been ultimate best ever for protecting valuable electronics. Wishing I had found this a few years ago when I kept accidentally destroying Tablets.

such a lifesaver! i didnt even know these bluetooth keyboards even existed i always thought people were on their laptops until i actually messed around with my friends that also had an ipad mini and i noticed his looked nothing like mine lol. i actually bought 2 different keyboard + covers, the 1st one being logitech and my newest one by aplatronix. they both have a similar feel to them in terms of what their purpose is ment to do, and thats type on the keyboard which runs alot smoother than typing each indiviual button on screen if you didnt have one. depending on how fast you are with a keyboard these products can really make a difference in typing long letters or essays (what i was doing). they both sync up to your ipad wirelessly via bluetooth and keeps a strong and stable connection throughout. a micro hdmi cable charges the keyboard in a few hours. the major differences between these two logitech- holds your ipad with a hinge on top and a magnet alpatronix- has a fully enclosed leather case that surrounds the ipad and has a nice snug fit logitech- keyboard is built in with the case alpatronix- keyboard is held by magnets inside the case. can be removed to get a greater distance between you and your ipad logitech- case overall is a good quality and build. closes like a book alpatronix- case is smooth, also great quality, has an extra flap that goes over. closes like a portfolio i have enclosed pics of both products for you to compare yourself. they both seem to last a good amount of time without needing to recharge but the battery life seems better on this alpatronix one. the biggest CON i have for the logitech case is the magnet is starting to lose its strength and from time to time it falls off. most because im laying in bed watching movies over me and i think the weight of the ipad is heavier than the limit it can hold. stronger magnets would have been appreciated. biggest CON i have for the alpatronix is the actual case that houses the ipad. i noticed when i tried to take pictures alittle bit of my frame was cutoff because of the hole in comparison to where the camera is. its not a huge problem but it is worth noting that you do have to adjust it from time to time depending on where and how you are positioned. all in all , ill grant the alpatronix case superior to the logitech because of the durability seems to be good, the ipad is fully protected and has no chance of sliding off, keyboard feels great no buttons get stuck or not work, the fact that you can seperate the keyboard from your ipad is a plus. i did receive this item at a discount but it doesnt change my honest opinion of this item. if i was ever asked to choose between these 2 products again i wouldnt hesitate to pick alpatronix everytime.
