5 Star Product, 6 Star Company
Update: Within 24 hours probably of posting the below, I got an email from the company. They offered to send me a replacement free of charge and contacted me again a few days after I had recieved the transmitter to make sure I had gotten it and that it worked. And oh my goodness, does it work. It paired with my phone easily right off the bat. It was also strong enough to overpower our local radio station (which my old transmitter couldn't have dreamed of doing). I used the same frequency I used with my old transmitter, which is a mostly dead station, some areas of town you can pick up some foreign-speaking station though that caused some minor interference with my old transmitter, but no issues so far with this device! The sound quality is also crystal clear. My only complaint is that it really does get stuck in the car Original: I believe I recieved a defective unit. I bought this to replace my older fm transmitter that is wired, but the wire is ridiculously long and the connector breaks occasionally. However, I plugged this unit in, the call button and Bluetooth buttons are flashing, but the device never appears in my phone's list. I know it's not my phone, because I wear a Gear Fit that is connected just fine. I've tried restarting the device and my phone, but nothing works. I'll be returning it shortly.

Great Little Device!
Wow, I'm impressed! Starting this device is easy! After plugging it into the 12v receptacle in my truck, the display showed battery voltage, then waited for me to sync my iPhone Bluetooth. Once that was completed, and I found an unoccupied FM frequency on my truck radio (I used 99.9), I could play music from my phone through the truck radio. The sound quality is quite good! My phone volume is set at maximum, and the VicTsing volume is set at 25, with the truck radio volume set at 10. I tried the phone answering feature, and it works well, also. The phone rings through the truck radio speakers, and then, when I answer the phone, I use it the way I normally would, using the phone with its speaker on or off. I was not able to hear voice through the truck radio speakers. Maybe there's a way to do that, and I just haven't figured it out yet. The only other feature I wish this device had is an on/off switch. The 12v receptacle in my truck is hot whether the engine is running or not, so I must unplug the VicTsing if I'm not going to use the truck for awhile. Otherwise, I'm thinking that the battery would be drained over an extended period of time. I haven't tried this out to verify it, however. Overall, I'm very pleased with this device, and would recommend it for use in vehicles that have an FM radio, but no Bluetooth or AUX port capability.

Don't read the "instructions". Just start pushing buttons.
Just plug it in and it works! I couldn't believe how easy this was to set up. I tried reading the instructions, but found them to be almost useless. So I plugged it into the power socket, paired it with the phone, and started pushing buttons. In no time at all, I was listening to music from my phone and making phone calls. I can even push the phone button and say "Hey Siri" and let her do everything for me. I used my car radio's seek function to tune in the device. At first, I found the audio through the FM to be slightly distorted with interference. But then I started pushing buttons on the interface and noticed it was changing the FM transmit frequency. I unplugged the device and manually tuned my radio to an unused frequency that was far away from other active frequencies and had a very low noise level. I tuned the device to transmit on the same frequency and what a difference! Now it sounds great. Every so often, another FM station will interfere and cause some deterioration in the sound, but it goes away quickly. I am quite happy with my purchase. (And all of this for less than $20!)

Read this review! Incredible Seller and Service.
It is easy to recieve good reviews when everything goes well. The real test of a product and a company comes when something goes wrong. Originally I gave this product a poor review. VicTsingdirect (seller) read my review and contacted me. They immediately sent me a free replacement. That is some EXCELLENT SERVICE right there. When I received the replacement it became clear the original was simply defective. This is not s bad product. It is a very good product with absolutely SUPERIOR back up. The replacement works beautifully. Great reception. Good quality. I highly Recommend this product and VicTsingdirect. You just can’t put a price on a company that stands behind their products and puts customers first.

Finally...a GREAT FM Transmitter device!
My wife got this for me for Christmas. I am rather dubious of any type of FM rebroadcaster as ones I have had in the past have had weak signals and poor audio quantity. The VicTsing BLEW ME AWAY! First, pairing with my iPhone was a breeze. Plug it into the accessory outlet and it shows in my bluetooth options within a second. It takes just seconds for it to automatically re-pair when you renter your car. The display is bright and bold and easy to read and tune. I found a blank FM channel and the VicTsing tuned in easily with a super store signal. My antenna in built into the rear side window of my SUV but the signal locked in without static or interference. The calling features are limited, you press the big volume button to dial the last number, but Siri works through the Bluetooth which is huge but you have to use the home button on the phone to activate it. I had music playing and route directions came to me from Apple Maps and the music volume dropped but didn't mute when directions came over. Just perfect! Phone call quality is crisp and loud both for the driver and the person on the other end. There is an USB outlet on the devise so I can plug in cord to charge my phone while it is in use. This device is perfect for us without built in Bluetooth in their vehicles!

Great Bluetooth!
I haven't had a Bluetooth transmitter in years because they never seem to have good signals (Detroit burns where we get Detroit and Ontario signals) but this gizmo is great! I bought it because my new work car doesn't have an aux jack or Bluetooth. This transmitter is tough, handles coming in and out every day without anything breaking this far (one month). Overall great!

Plays music very well. I'm liking it.
I love it. I didn't care about the phone or USB power. I need tunes. I have a couple older cars with CD players, and just doesn't work for me anymore. Even the 10CD player isn't enough. So I bought this to have some decent tunes and less talk radio. I loaded up a 32G microSD card with 1000 songs (5G) plugged it in. Plug into the lighter. Find an open FM channel on the radio. Set the same channel on Transmitter using the CH buttons. Turn the volume knob up on the Transmitter. Done. The display is a little too small, for this old guy, but it is readable. Soft blue glow. I has a strong male voice that is a little creepy when it says "pairing". The max volume is just right for the radio. Clear sound. It is easy to use and fairly idiot proof. I probably should read the instructions. The "tube" is flexible, but rigid enough to stay in place.

If you’ve been using a wired jack to play sound in your car, you need this.
How did I live without this? My 2006 model car came with an audio jack input near the emergency brake in the console. I’ve been using it for years to listen to audiobooks or play streaming music. The downsides to this connection are myriad. The jack pulls out, the cord gets tangled, plugging in requires a lot of distraction from the road if I’m doing it when driving, and now that I use an android phone, it automatically lowers the volume every time I plug-in in a parental attempt to protect my ears. Further, sometimes the audio volume just won’t turn up high enough. I have to pick up my phone and navigate back to the screen if I want to pause what I’m listening to... On and on and on. The last straw for the mechanical connection came when the jack end of the telephone simply began not fastening correctly. I was vaguely aware of that I could get a Bluetooth plug-in for the same jack, and thereby eliminate the mechanical difficulties. So I looked up the devices, and noticed immediately that they needed to be charged about every eight hours of use. That’s when I went looking for this. The VicTsing Bluetooth FM transmitterPlugs directly into the cigarette lighter, so I don’t have to worry about charging. I wasn’t expecting to use it as an FM transmitter, since I do still have the audio jack, and this device has an audio output jack. But I found that using the transmitter version actually gets me better sound quality (no static or clicks in the background), better volume control, and has fewer wires to worry about tripping over and tangling. The unexpected bonuses? Easily visible, tactile controls allowed me to pause and unpause my audiobook without looking away from the road. Forward and back buttons let me replay something that I have missed. Volume control right on the device means I don’t have to struggle to get back to my audiobook playing screen and fight with the android volume buttons. And oh yeah, it’s also speakerphone. It takes my commands to google, and handles my phone calls in a hands-free manner with good results. I leave this thing plugged in all the time, and whenever I start up my car James Earl Jones says “looking to pair.” In a few seconds he announces that the parent has been found – thereby assuring me that my telephone is with me – and I’m ready to go. This tiny little, inexpensive device has made my long road trips easier, more enjoyable, and safer than they were before. And, did I mention it also has a charger outlet? So I haven’t actually lost the ability to charge my phone as I go. This is one of the nice little things in life that make you happy for a very small cost. Definitely recommend.

The FM transmitter I received was damaged out of the box...
*UPDATE* So, upon writing up this review, I have to say, this company has wonderful customer service! They emailed me a few days later and offered to send me another FM transmitter absolutely free of charge and without the hassle of returning the damaged product. The one that was delivered to me today was in pristine condition. Even the box it was shipped in was in better shape, leading me to believe that maybe I just got some bad luck of the draw on the first one. Also, upon testing the product out, it appears it does as it says and my fiance is very happy with his gift. His long trip to work is now a little less tedious with all of his favorite music from Spotify played through this transmitter. All in all, I definitely recommend this company. The transmitter works as stated, is affordable and their customer service puts the customer first, which is pretty rare to see in the business world. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, when I opened this, kind of, swift tape-job of a box and pulled out the FM transmitter, I saw that there were already some pretty heavy-duty scratches across the surface of it. I'm a little disappointed because, otherwise, it's got enough weight and shine behind it that I would have been very impressed with my first view of it. I haven't tried any of it's features out at the moment since this was actually a gift to my fiance, so I can't say whether or not it's a faulty product in general. Still.. it's not a good start.

I'm loving this. (I also compare this unit with a SoundBot SB360FM)
I ordered this little goody 3 months ago (July 2017) for use in my newly-acquired 2006 Miata, which came with neither Bluetooth capability nor Aux Input, and my prior experience with cassette and CD adapters was dismal. All the music I listen to is on my iPhone (plus the usual GPS, phone calls) so I needed a way to get my iTunes music to my car radio. Now that I've used the VicTsing for 3 months (including a 1000+ mile road trip last weekend), the reasons to love this thing are many: Price, ease of use, the USB port for charging my phone on long trips, the short but necessary flexible neck, the infinite choice of FM stations (more on that later). The only real down side for me was that where it plugs into my cigarette lighter socket, the unit sits on my console right next to my gearshift (and close to where I rest my knee when driving) so I researched other units and decided to order a SoundBot SB360FM (they make two models...the 'FM' in the model name denotes the model that is an FM transmitter). I hooked up the new SoundBot today, and though it ha some nice features and handsome, compact design, there were enough negatives to convince me to return it (check out my review of the SoundBot model, just posted today) and re-install the VicTsing...hence this review. With the VicTsing unit you can select any FM frequency you wish, and then set your car radio for the same FM frequency; it retains that frequency from that point on, until you manually change the frequency (e.g., when you travel to another area where your chosen frequency is already taken up by a regular FM station). The reason I mention this is that the SoundBot unit I'm returning comes with 10 preset frequencies that you can scroll through; several of those frequencies worked fine in my area (Palm Springs, California) but each time you restart the car, that unit resets to its default frequency (88.8) so if the frequency which worked best for you was the 9th preset, you would have to click the Channel button 9 times to get back to it each time you start the car (there's a way to set a new default station, which I included in my review of that unit). Another plus: this VicTsing has a separate volume control, which I didn't really appreciate until I tried the SoundBot today and found its volume to be woefully low, so I'm wondering if the VicTsing has a little onboard pre-amp or something...at any rate, it provides substantially more volume than the SoundBot. Adequate volume is especially important in a convertible; the SoundBot never would have made it. I'm glad I waited this long (and after having tried another unit to compare) before writing a review. Now I'm all the more convinced that, for me, the VicTsing is the right choice. Finally, I'm definitely not a techie and don't want to sound like someone who thinks he knows it all, but in looking at some of the questions customers have posted for this FM transmitter and similar items, there is a lot of confusion, so maybe this will help those who aren't sure what these units are for and how they work: These units are for vehicles that do not have built-in bluetooth (most newer vehicles do) and also do not have an Auxiliary Input (where you can plug a cable with a male plug into a female plug, usually somewhere in the dashboard or console). These FM transmitters are actually just miniature FM radio stations that plug into your cigarette lighter outlet. Once you've paired your phone to the unit and set the unit to a specific FM frequency (or channel), your phone sends music and other information to the FM transmitter via the magic of bluetooth, and the FM transmitter sends that information over the air on the specific frequency that you've set. When you tune your car radio to that same FM frequency, your radio receives that little 'FM station'. Voila!
