Lightweight, good quality

I was happy with this dry erase board. I'm using it as a chore board at home. It does have to be hung up on nails or studs in a wall, which is fine by me. I was surprised by how lightweight it was, which made me skeptical of its quality at first, but it's smudge-free and everything writes and erases beautifully. The rack for the eraser is simple and effective. The magnets and pens stay up. I'm not a kid and I don't have kids so I experimented with scratching the smiley faces off the magnets, and they did not come off, which is probably evidence of good quality. I had one tiny issue with the board. The protective plastic film on top is super hard to see, so I'm glad they provided plenty of warning. I was almost afraid I was scratching off the whiteboard itself when I first started to remove it. I had trouble getting the film out of the edges of the board. I considered disassembling it, but it didn't seem worth it. I spent some time pulling the little bits of plastic out, and it looks fine now.

Nice board for magnets

Let me preface this review by saying that I purchased this board to use as a magnetic surface for magnetic poetry. I haven't written on it and don't intend to. That being said, this white board seems to be well made. It is sturdy, has two hanging loops along the top for easy hanging/mounting, and the frame and back of the board are aluminium making it extremely light and portable. The accessories it comes with (two blue smiley face magnets, two dry erase pens w/magnetic eraser tipped caps, and a magnetic eraser) are a nice bonus. I haven't tried the pens or the eraser so I can't comment on how well they do or don't work. If you don't want to stick the accessories directly to the board, there is a small fold out metal tray for them along the bottom edge. The tray doesn't lock into place, but it seems to stay put when folded closed so I don't see that being a problem. It is sufficiently magnetic and I haven't had any problems with things not sticking it. The back also appears to be magnetic so if you prefer a shiny metallic surface you could use that instead. This board works perfectly for my purposes, and I am happy with my purchase.

If one could love a whiteboard..... -- bought #2 today

This thing is friggin ridiculous. It's put together like a battleship, yet still light-weight. Aluminum metal surrounds all sides. Plastic edge corners. Nothing cheap feeling about it. Plastic-coated main face (for protection) -- run razor lightly around indented edges and plastic protective cover peels away effortlessly. Metal triangular hooks that move along one edge (or apparently can be moved to another edge). A stay-attached yet flip-uppable drop-down tray. Nifty eraser, two megnetic capped dry-erase markers (black), and two blue smiley-face magnets... What's not to love? Will definitely be buying again and again.

I just wanted to start of by saying if your looking for a quality whiteboard from a quality company look no further. The original whiteboard's frame was partly dented and it looked crooked on the wall. I sent a message to the company and they promptly sent me a replacement with 2 day shipping. Thats what I call 5-Star Customer Service. Now on to the Whiteboard. It comes with 2 magnets, 2 markers, and 1 Dry-Erase-magnetic eraser. The board is covered with a plastic film which protects the surface. Taking it off is easy. The boards surface is very smooth and it makes for a very smooth writing experience. My friends love to draw pictures on this board but I primarily use the board as a daily to do list and planner. It is very useful for me. Good product, good seller!

The whiteboard came with 1 eraser, 2 markers, & 2 smiley magnets. The board has two adjustable hooks, & a movable tray to place markers or erasers on. My board didn't come bent or scratched like some reviewers have experienced with theirs. Mine came in great conditions, thankfully. Everything is magnetic except for the back of the board (so you can't put it on the fridge). The magnet did come off from one marker but I simply put the magnet back in its place & I haven't had a problem since. So far, so good. I have no complaints with this product. Everything works as it should! I did contact the seller, & I will say that they were very helpful & nice. I appreciate a good seller, with kind customer service! :) I've attached an image showing the size I purchased, everything the whiteboard comes with & how I hung it to my wall.

Another fabulous Whiteboard Set

I now own three of Navy Penguin's Whiteboards. Each one led to the purchase of the next. I purchased this Whiteboard Set because I thought it would make a great addition to their Whiteboard monthly calendar which I own. I was excited to receive this Whiteboard set and could not wait to see if it would work well with my calendar set. Did not have to wait long because the set came in two days. I tore open the box and my first thought was that the item was the same quality as everything else I have purchased from the company. I also noticed how well it was packaged and that even the item itself was wrapped very well to protect it. I immediately placed my Whiteboard calendar on this Whiteboard and was extremely pleased. The calendar fitted perfectly and I had room on the side to put the magnetic pieces (erasers, pens, etc) that came with the set. The magnetic pieces are one of my favorite features of these sets because I can keep all the items together. Important to me because unfortunately, I tend to lose things like pens easily. I could not be happier with this set and glad I purchased it. I think there are endless possibilities as to what I can use the board for. Recently, I removed my calendar and used the Whiteboard to prepare for a presentation. It really helped to see see my presentation notes and outline on the board. Really liked that I could just erase my mistakes and keep moving forward. I also used this Whiteboard with my Whiteboard calendar in a time management workshop I presented.

Excellent high quality solid board with everything you need for practical and long-term use!

I may be the only reviewer on here who did not get their board in exchange for a review ! :-) So many of the reviews on here read "I received this whiteboard at discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review". We did not - I read all of the reviews in searching for this board and paid full price. I ordered 2 of these for our kitchen for family use. We have had 3 other kinds and they all fell apart after even light use, including one with very sharp edges which cut my son's hand open. These are more expensive but well worth it - very solid construction, very well made, comes with everything you need including the flip-out holder for the pens and eraser. Make sure you order the right 'layout' for the way you want to hang it, as the hooks do not move from one side to the other - you can order either 'portrait' or 'landscape'. We love these and I may just order another for my office.

Display boards

These boards are being used to display tourist magnets we have collected on our travels. They are just the right size for this type of use. Easy to hang. We didn't need the trays at the bottom and with the removal of two screws the tray slipped right out.

What a great product! I purchased two of these to place ...

What a great product! I purchased two of these to place onto two cabinet doors in my garage. No more pieces of loose paper filled with "honey-do" projects, no more forgetting to write down (or find later) the purchase list for needed materials. I labeled the two boards for the two main categories of projects...the never-ending list of things to work on the RV, and projects for around the house. My wife adds in things as she thinks of them, and I gleefully subtract as the projects get knocked off. I used drywall screws in the corners of the boards to mount, with no issues. I removed one of the fold-down holders for the eraser on one of the boards without issue. In my opinion, these boards will stand the test of time, they definitely aren't the cheapest...but I'm pretty sure they are the best
