25 feet no problems

solid ends, running 25 feet and no hum. I bought 3 of these, running up a wall and across the ceiling to an amplified speaker in a classroom setting. The speakers stay on all the time, so i did not want there to be any hum, and there is not. I have no problems with the sound on either.

KVM worth buying, particular bearing in mind the price! (including 8 cables)

I am absolutely stunned with the performance of this RIJER KVM switch. It took me less than 30 minutes to open up the shipping box, connect up five of my linux workstations and two windonws PC (each with 64 cores!) and start testing all at a turtle's steady-and-slow pace.

can be mounted in the standard 19'' rack

The included ears are somewhat smallish, but they are usable, using the included ears it was mounted without problem into the standard 19'' rack, and it uses only 1U space.

RIJER 8 Port KVM Smith

The RIJER 8 Port KVM Switch has worked like it should with no issues. Vey easy to setup and arrives with all attachments needed. Clarity is clear on my screen with good resolution. Pros: 8 port KVM switch with all cables, mounts, power cord, & switch for the price is well worth the purchase price. Seems well made, but only had it a few days and has been working as it should. Cons: Two issue I have seen so far are the KVM To server cables (8) are too short and need to be at least 8-10Ft long. I have all my equipment in one cabinet, even so the cables are stretched. (Will have to purchase longer cables). The second problem I see is the desk KVM switch cable to change monitors is also very short, even with desk right next to the server. For me it is at least 3-4ft to short.

Works great with Ubuntu Linux 18.10 and Windows 10

This was plug and play with both Ubuntu Linux 18.10 and Windows 10. Works great. As others have noted, it would be nice if they shipped a couple of 10' VGA/USB cables along with the 6' VGA/USB cables. I've got 5 machines on this KVM and some of them are Windows 10 / Ubuntu dual-boot, and results were all good with all systems.

This is such an amazing and fantastic product.

Easy to install, no configuration necessary. Operates as advertised. So far a very good value for the cost. Testing now for durability. The units ships with 8 KVM cables that connect VGA, USB, Audio and Mic from the 8 PCs to the Switch. This is very helpful and well designed. Customer need only connect their monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and microphone directly to the switch. No power necessary as the switch receives power through the PC cable connections. Works well.

I have bought a lot of KVM Switches for a lot more money only to have them not work for me. I install a lot of Hikvision and other DVR systems with Linux operating systems only to find that the more expensive KVM Switches will not work with them. THIS ONE WORKS AS ADVERTISED!!! Only drawback is that all the supplied cables are the same length, I think 4-6 foot, no matter ... will make them work for me. Bud

This KVM works exactly as I hoped it would.

Good KVM, everything you need in the box. This HDMI KVM switch allows me to seemlessly switch one monitor between 6 systems. With this switch I can avoid adding a eighth monitor to an already crowded control room.
