I've replaced the screen & digitizer on my husband's iPhone 6s Plus 3 times now. The first was a different brand screen that failed within about 6 weeks after install . The glass and the metal frame separated, but we didn't realize it for months as it was in a LifeProof case. The outer edges of the glass weren't similar to the OEM one and the ribbon cables were off. I've bought three of these. One had issues and replacement within the 30 days was easy. They all were less complicated to install than the first, different brand one. Instructions on i-fixit.com say it's something like 41 steps, so it's an intense replacement, but I've gotten good at it and hope not to have to do it again! Still, less than $37 and a couple hours of my time (with some sweating and swearing) is less inconvenient than finding someone else to replace it. Can't be without a working business phone!

First off, I am a highly skeptical person.I research Everything. I'm cheap too. So buying this was a leap because I was trying to stay below $30. But I read a TON of reviews and ultimately decided you get what you pay for. Glad I did!! The screen is slightly less vibrant but only noticeable when compared to another iPhone. Otherwise I don't notice it. Slightly more blue hue but not much. Ok that's all the bad I have to say. The rest is great enough I still gave it 5 stars. The tools were awesome really made it to by quick although a magnetic tool set would've really cut my time in half. Took me about 25 minutes including watching a YouTube video start and stop style. The magnetic screw holder was a huge part in my purchase choice. And the seemingly better quality of tools. The screen was really easy to remove. My old one was ridiculously shattered. Zillion pieces. So the suction cup was useless. Found a video for that too lol. I used the guitar pick looking tool to loosen the entire screen edge and it came right off! Be careful with the wires they do matter. Be careful with the sticky parts of the camera and home button you will need them again. A few clicks and GENTLE pushes and the screen was working great! Put it back together and I love it. A magnetic driver would've greatly helped returning screws because they're the smallest I've ever seen. I won't upload pics, they're the same a everyone else on here. Great kit packages well... Shattered screen replaced with awesome screen. Get this kit!!!!

My wife (Natalie) bought this to replace a broken screen on her iPhone. I would give this 4.9 stars if I could. Most everything went well and the screen itself is excellent. A few observations though. The phillips screwdriver stripped itself on one of the thermal plate screws. I thought it was the screw but turns out it was the screwdriver head. Probably good to have a backup screwdriver (I did) or be very careful and make sure the driver head is seated and carefully apply torque while backing the screws out. All of them have what looks like a blue Loctite-like substance on the threads so can be a bit stubborn to get started. VERY IMPORTANT: When reassembling the front-facing camera make sure to flatten the other three flex cables outside the phone, place the camera cable on top of the others, and then fold them all back inside the phone. If you don't do this correctly, the cables won't make sense when you try to plug them back in. Trust me, this made me nuts trying to figure out what was wrong. Neither the instructions or any of the videos I watched mention this. The adhesive on the home button flex cable was very difficult to loosen, even with heat applied. I may have damaged the cable because the button does not work correctly now. It works in some ways, for instance, the touch ID function works, but the button won't get you to the home screen any longer. So we had to use an accessibility work-around for now while we decide whether to replace the button or not. From what I have seen online, replacing the button negates the touch ID, regardless of what the product description lists, because each OEM button is paired with each individual motherboard. I would recommend this. Keith

This is a perfect kit to replace a cracked screen or screen when you accidentally break the LCD cable. Go slow as you have to remove all of the other parts from your old display (mic, camera, speaker, home button). The included magnetic picture and all of the right tools was very helpful. Instructions were very clear. Display looks like new and fully functions.

I bought this product the first time to replace my dad's cracked phone screen. After a bit of confusion, because the book and the video are not in the same order, and a couple of cuss words, we got the new screen on. It works fabulously! When my phone screen cracked I knew I was going to buy this product. We got it and installed it. Unfortunately this time, there were streaky lines running through the display. I didn't know if they would go away so I let it sit over night. When they were still there the next morning. I decided to reply to the email they sent asking how I liked the product and if there were any concerns. They emailed me back within the same day (on a Sunday!) and told me they'd give me a refund and I wouldn't have to send the screen back in or anything. They said the lines were due to pressing too hard on the screen while installing it. I got the refund the next day! I immediately rebought this phone screen and installed the second new one tonight being extra careful to not apply pressure, and this new phone screen is perfect! Thank you to this company for making a great, cheap product. And thank you to the customer service (especially Daisy) for issuing a refund!

you can see the picture, before and after, everywell, just one things, i ordered wrong color....lol

I was skeptical about this product at first as this was my first time buying this kind of product on amazon, but I went ahead and purchased it to replace a client of mine's iPhone screen, the result was really well and im impressed! The quality of the screen was probably as good as a genuine Apple screen, the instructions were easy to follow and if you didn't understand the written instructions just watch a simple youtube video, and the resolution looked just as good for the most part. granted I didn't get to use the phone afterwards and I did notice just a small hiccup that the screen gave me but I think that was just the phone adjusting. overall I don't know how long the screen will last or how this affects long term use, but it got the job done which was to replace the screen and work.

Very impressed with everything about this replacement screen. I had botched a glass replacement and needed to replace the digitizer and the plastic bezel. If you have cracked glass I would recommend going this route, I would save your money and not try to replace the glass by itself you'll only end up like me and purchasing this kit. Speaking of the kit. It comes with everything you need to remove and reinstall the digitizer and screen. I was very impressed with the packaging right out of the envelope. All of the tools are there (and are the proper ones for an iPhone) and there are a few extra goodies to help keep you from breaking the glass again. The replacement was pretty easy. lots of small screws and tiny parts but nothing too bad. I would highly recommend watching a YouTube video or two before attempting and probably during for good measure. Once we had all of the cables and parts put back together it was time to close up the phone. This was a little bit more of a challenge than I anticipated as this screen seems just a touch off, maybe just a couple of thousandths larger, just enough to where I had to work at it to get it to seat and felt like I needed to be careful not to bend the screen. After a few moments I was able to get it to go and screw the two bottom screws in. The screen is a touch different in terms of how it feels on the phone than the OEM one, but it is absolutely amazing considering it isn't. It sits just a touch different than OEM once installed, but is something that you will quickly get used to. Now that we had the screen attached it was time to put it through its paces. I handed the phone to my 14 year old daughter (the owner of the phone and by far the pickiest) to QA the screen. She reported back that if there is a difference in the quality of the picture or touch screen functions she couldn't tell and was happily getting back to all her friends who had texted her while her phone was down. So, as my daughter faded back into being a teenager glued to her phone, I sat back happy that this product is out there, is priced very appropriately and actually works. I would purchase this again without question.

Incredible clarity and all functions work flawlessly. It is like having a brand new Iphone. My phone was in bad shape and I had clear tape over the screen for months procrastinating repair. I had no problems with the repair, this was my first time ever repairing a phone. I also decided to replace the battery since this phone was being disassembled. The Display kit comes with a rubber magnetic mat with an embedded picture of the inside of the phone and screw location circled in red as a guide for placing the iphone screws as they are removed. This kept all the screws organized for correct screw location during re-assembly. Visually inspect your new screen thoroughly. The round clear plastic guide for the front facing camera was a bit off center with respect to the round hole in the glass. The seller responded immediately to my concern with an offer to exchange, but at this point in the repair process I did not want to go forward with this because I had to have my iphone up and running as quickly as possible. This ended up not being an issue and all photo images for the front facing camera are very clear and with no aberrations. The flex cables coming off the back of the new screen that connect to the electronics on the bottom half of the iphone were out of order not making connection to the cable sockets possible. I used a pair of tweezers to carefully re-ordered these flat flex cables. This could have been done without tools, but I was extremely careful handling all components. All my work was done over a white sheet of paper placed on a bench top combined with plenty of lighting. This may be an issue for those concerned about ESD, but it worked for me and having a detailed visual capability was most important especially when you drop a screw. I also used a bench top magnifier and magnifying loupe for close inspection and to help articulate placement of screws and whatnot. I'm also pushing 63 so this helps. YouTube videos were helpful and highly advised. These acted as a supplement to the repair instructions given. I ended up ripping the sensor flex cable away from the proximity sensor and had to order a new sensor cable with proximity sensor, microphone, and front-facing camera. This was dirt cheap and with 1-day delivery for under $15. Parts for the iphone 6 are cheap so don't be intimidated. Just be organized and lay all parts out carefully. With my limited experience this kit worked flawlessly for me and I highly recommend purchasing this one.
