Looks natural!
I’ve been using eyebrow powder for years now and just tried this pencil. The pencil looks great and natural and takes me less time to apply. I color my hair bright red and the Auburn color works well. Some reviewers mentioned that the pencil can break off; I learned to be careful to not push out too much of the product and use a light hand to keep it from breaking off.

Surprised
At first I panicked because I didn't see my pencil inside the package but, for my surprised, I found a little box inside with, not just one but TWO pencils. Not complaining tho!

So happy to have an Auburn color available
So happy the big name brands are FINALLY creating products for redheads. Even if it's just brow pencils so far.... more please!!! Mascara!!!! Thanks, Maybelline. My brows actually look natural with this product, instead of like they're meant to be on a brunette's face. ;) I know we're only 2% of the population, but I bet redheads be buyin this sh*t like "whoaaaaaaa! Something for me?!?!?!!?! Bless the day!!"

Excellent. "Blonde" is great for those with gray hair.
I have been blessed with silver hair - sounds so much better than gray, no? - and have been searching and searching for an eyebrow pencil that looks good with my coloring. This pencil solved the problem. I bought this pencil in blonde. It is perfect. I think the color is more taupe than blonde. I also like the nice precise line that can be drawn with this pencil. It never looks like I drew on my eyebrows with a fat crayon. Other reviewers mentioned that this pencil broke off. I have not had that problem, but I also crank it up the absolute minimal distance to do the job. For me, this pencil has worked much better than other brands that are way more expensive.

This Micro Eyebrow pencil helps me define my very sparse blonde brows!
This Maybelline Precise Micro Eyebrow pencil is the perfect color for me. I have sandy blonde hair (different shades within naturally) & blue eyes. I had been using a brow pencil from Sally's Beauty Supply nearby for quite some time. However, they ran out & were having difficulty getting that pencil back in stock. That's when I decided to check out what was available on AMAZON. I hesitated to get it, but I'm glad I did because it helps me to shape my very sparse eyebrows at age 55. The only thing is that there is NOT A LOT of pencil in the tube & it runs out fast when using it once every day.

I really like this pencil
I just started using an eyebrow pencil because I have lost some hair on my eyebrows and need to fill the little spaces out. I never used them before because just didn't need to. I really like this pencil, very easy to use, and the look is very natural. If you want a dramatic look, this is not the pencil for that, but if you want your eyebrows to look filled out but natural look, this is the perfect tool. I'm using it everyday now.

My new favorite over YBF which I've used for years
I was honestly afraid to choose the Blonde shade as I'm a bottle blonde and my brows are medium brown. I love this, even more so than the brow pencil I've used for years, YBF, which is sold on HSN, and previously QVC. This is a very fine pencil so you can't twist much out at once, otherwise you'll break the tip off. I extend it barely over 1/16" of an inch at a time, then twist it back into the pencil until next use. This lasts all day! And it looks very natural. In my photo, the YBF pencil (top line) is supposed to be a universal taupe. I think the Maybelline Blonde shade (bottom line) looks even more taupe than the YBF pencil. Plus the Maybelline has virtually no "flaking" as you can see with the YBF pencil.

PERFECT!
My hair is a pewter-type gray and finding a matching brow pencil (with no red tones) has been a challenge. I've tried Lancome and Tarte which are also good color-wise...BUT...have way too little product for the money...and/or the product breaks too easily so, again, wasted dollars. I am so thrilled to have found this little reasonably priced and perfect brow pencil. Maybelline is the best!

Holy grail favorite!!!
This pencil is perfect in every way (as much as it could be). The color is a nice, buildable dark brown that would work for all shades of brunette and black hair. The spoolie brush is actually functional and useful for blending out pencil strokes and shaping hairs into place. The pigment/color is rich and lasts all day so long as you don’t touch your brows. The pencil produces fine lines that are great for filling in sparse brows and also shaping brows if you like the super defined brow look as I do. I hope they never stop making this!!!!

The brush is the key!
I'm a reluctant user of eyebrow pencil, but the outer halves of my eyebrows became very light as I got older, and it bugged me. After trying half a dozen different pencils & powders, this is the easiest one to use! The brush at the end is key. I can make a few strokes in the general outline I'm trying to achieve, fill in just a bit, then take the brush and stroke it downward and upward across my eyebrow to soften the lines and blend the pigment across the eyebrow area. After a little practice, it's really quick to use, and that's important to me -- I don't like to fuss! My eyebrows stay darkened until I shower. I'm not using it to create precisely outlined, very dark brows (although that seems to be the current fashion, and I think this pencil would work well for that technique also), but rather to add just a little suggestion of darker color.
