Very Fresh

Very fresh. Only one broken fish. I had previously ordered these twice from another seller on Amazon. The first batch were really fresh. The second batch was about half dried out. I'm very pleased with this order from Amazon and will order from them again when these are eaten.

Not all fish are created equally, small fish & big!

November 5, 2014 - Not what I was expecting or really wanting. The ones I received were the larger fish size and seem to have a non-traditional taste. I've eaten Swedish fish since they were a penny candy ad just recently decided to stop buying the large bags at Walmart and Costco. Hardly anyone produces the large fish size any longer, makes me wonder if these are old and they're trying to get rid of them. Not happy, but returning food is tacky & return shipping will run about 35-40% of what was paid, for the 5lb. I recommend ASKING if you'll receive the small fish or large fish, before committing to the purchase. The DO taste different. Update: The company contacted me about my dissatisfaction and promptly replaced the bag with another. This bag was better and I have continued to purchase bags on a repeated basis. I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. I use a bag about 1 1/2 - 2 months at a time and they stay fresh and delicious.

Arrived in literally 2 days, WAY faster than expected!

Arrived in literally 2 days. As I write this, Amazon is still expecting it to arrive in 4 days. Couple that with free shipping, these are an awesome deal. Haven't been able to find the assorted flavor swedish fish anywhere in my city in packages bigger than single serving, so this is amazing to me! I never realized how intimidating 5 lbs of candy can be until the bag arrived... They're still frozen from being outside (Colorado in the middle of April, we're having a snowstorm,) but I suspect they aren't hard or old. Now, to see if I can make it last 2 months.

Great size for a candy bar or party.

Who doesn’t like Swedish fish!?!? I bought these for a candy bar for nurses week at work and they were a big hit. The size of perfect for this use and they were one of the candies that needed to be replenished frequently.

Love-Hate relationship

I have a love-hate relationship with this 5-pound bag of Swedish Fish. I LOVE Swedish Fish, and having them in my reach whenever I'm craving one is awesome, to say the least. On the other hand, I definitely didn't NEED a five-pound bag of Swedish Fish at my quick disposal...I never take just one...I end up eating a handful when I get home from work...and then another handful while watching TV after dinner...then another handful....well, you get the point. So, I'd say if you're not on a diet and you're okay with eating multiple handfuls of Swedish Fish every day, this is an AWESOME buy. The fish are all fresh too...not hard and crusty...and the variety bag is so much better than the all-red bags they're selling now.

They are delicious, but not what I expected. I was expecting the regular size fish, but these were mini. Either way, they still taste great! I will be sure to confirm the size next time.

Lots of Cherry! Nice and soft. Lasts a long time. Don't worry that it's a big 5-lb bag.

Oh yeah, I'm a repeat customer. I thought this bag would be too big and I'd share it with neighbors, but these stayed fresh so long when I resealed them that I ate the whole 5 pounds in about a month. Nice and soft like you remember. Not the little harder ones you get when you get the plain red ones. Not individually wrapped if you were wondering for Halloween. Oh and there's LOTS of cherry! Very nice, perfect mix, just like you'd want--Variety wtih extra cherry. Perfect, right? Cherry, Orange, Lemon, & Lime flavors.

These are seriously addictive! They are delicious and perfect in every way! Got them for my mom for mother's day, and now have them set up as an auto order due to how great they are! LOVE them!

YUUUUM! Happy, Happy, Happy

These are my favorite candy and a little treat I occassionally give myself in small amounts. I'm diabetic, yet somehow I can eat 4 or 5 of these little fishes without raising my blood sugar. Last night I had 5 but my blood sugar remained at 113. Neither I nor my doctor understand why this is, but I'm happy I can have this sweet treat occassionally without worrying about my blood sugar. These are much cheaper than in the market. The whole family loves them and they're pretty as well. Just seeing them in the candy dish makes me smile and brings back memories of happy times with my dad, as he used to give them to me as a little gift.

Great taste and the right size.

Swedish Fish rock. I remember buying these at the candy store when I was a kid. I could get 100 fish for a dollar. It brought back memories and they still taste just as good. I will wait for this to be delivered to my door step before I buy them from a convenient store or grocery store. These are way better. I like to send these to my nieces and nephew for their birthday and during holidays. They love them too.
