Awesome Food Storage Containers!

As a Christmas gift to myself, I replaced all my old Rubbermaids with these. I previously had the original red Easy Find Lid set, and they were looking stained, bubbled, and worn. These new Premier containers are such a huge step up in quality! I have to say, I love the color of the grey lids! So nice looking. When I initially tried them, the lids were very tight and I thought I’d dislike how they snapped on, but once I used them that first time, it’s been no trouble at all to close the containers. The containers themselves are crystal clear, hard plastic. This is the biggest improvement over the old ones because they don’t stain, and they’re super easy to clean. They wash up perfectly on the top rack of the dishwasher, but do expect some water spotting if you hand wash and air dry. I can’t comment on use in the microwave because we’ve really been trying to limit ourselves to reheating in glass only. So far, the 28 piece set has been plenty for our family of four, as there are a variety of sizes. They stack well in the drawer when not in use. It makes me happy to have matching, clean, quality containers. I’ve been very pleased with this purchase!

Fantastic Tupperware

I used to have a bunch of the red-topped Rubbermaid tupperware, but the containers soaked up every bit of pasta sauce color over time, became foggy, and when they went into the microwave to reheat things, the inside plastic would get small areas of rough surface, which I can only imagine happened because there was some oil there that became superheated in the microwave, that melted the plastic a tiny bit. I threw these away because that defect made me nervous that the plastic was getting into my food (these rough areas would attract a white film of detergent from the dishwasher - blegh!). This set is MUCH better. Perfectly clear, hasn't stained a single bit, and the inner container surface remains perfectly smooth after microwaving something. I do agree that these lids do not feel as tight as their red-topped predecessors, but I don't mind that at all because I actually found that the previous versions were oftentimes too hard for me to open...especially if the container had been placed in the freezer, which made the top much less flexible. I had struggled at times to fully seal or remove the old version's top, but these feel snug enough to me while having the flexibility to be removed without my hurting my hand. I got two of the 5-cup sizes to test them out, and loved them so much I got another two. Definitely recommend.

Best - no, ONLY non staining, non warping containers

This is an excellent assortment of containers and so far I have had all sorts of liquid, solid, meat, tomato, cheese, and vegetable products in these... A few scratches here and there from not being careful with my fork/knife, but NO staining and NO change in shape despite multiple trips through the dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. I love them, had to get more of the sizes I used most, and recommend them. Never buy any other type of container ever again.

Miracle Containers

I accidentally threw away a bunch of these one day because we left food in them for weeks. My wife was not happy with me because it was her favorite set. It took us years to find them again so I had to purchase them immediately to keep her from reminding me every day that I threw them away. This set of containers has brought peace and joy into our home and for that I thank you Rubbermaid and Amazon. Now I am allowed to go golfing with my friends on occasion and that is worth every penny spent!

I do like the old design

I seen some neutral reviews because the product tops had changed from the previous design. I do like the old design, I had them in purple, but these tops work fine for me. I was little hesitant because I didn't want to be disappointed in comparing them with the old design, but overall, they work well. I will be ordering another set.

Goodbye Tupperware, Hello Rubbermaid

I've been using these Rubbermaid bowls for a while and they beat my old Tupperware bowls hands down. They stack well (taking up less room in storage), they don't discolor, they're easier to clean, and they handle being microwaved better. I've just ordered more and have bundled up my Tupperware for donation. I do wish they'd kept the original lids instead of the redesigned ones, but still a very sound product overall. (I have the ones with the black lids.)

Excellent food storage containers!

Very nice food storage containers! These are very sturdy. The plastic is so clear they look like glass. The lids snap securely into place, I definitely don't worry about anything leaking out of these. I have eaten salad out of these. There are no scratches from the fork. I have put canned beets in them. Beet juice stains everything! Not these containers, though! I have put leftover spaghetti in them and microwaved it in the container later. When I washed it, there was no sauce stain and the container looks brand new. The containers and the lids all fit together nicely for storage when they're not in use. I haven't ran these through a dishwasher as I do not have one, but I suspect they'd be just fine if I did. The only issue I see is after having family over for dinner, I'll not be able to let them make their own leftover take-homes anymore unless I hide these first. These will last for years, as long as I can keep track of them!

Love this set, difficult to find in stores..

I LOVE this set!! These are awsome for dogs water bowls, storing leftovers, etc. They are also stain resistant. I have looked all over for these in stores, finally found a few individual bowls that were to big at Target. Not the size I wanted so I ordered these. I am extremely happy with these clear plastic bowls that come in lots of sizes. Last a very long time. A great product and a good buy.

Great containers!

I bought these containers as a replacement for a similar Rubbermaid set I have been using continuously for about 7 years. The lids have definitely been improved over time- they fit together better and are easier to wash and dry. I do almost wish that there were a couple more large containers in this set and less smaller containers, but I think that the set will be a nice replacement overall. Love the gray color!

Excellent

I bought these for my parents a year ago. They liked them so much, I bought a larger set (this set) for Christmas this year to add to it. They have been asking for more for a while. These Rubbermaid containers are built to last and are great quality. They also look very nice. A few suggestions... let us build our own set. We'd probably need way more of the mediums than any other size. Also, the lids can be a bit cumbersome. They take up a little more space than they need to. Maybe color code the edges to make them match up better? Also, make cylindrical containers. I get that they're not as efficient on space, but there's definitely a market for them. They eat out of them and would prefer round for that. I don't mind either way.
