Worth every penny! Significantly speeded up time to completion. I used this on a several large slate patios around my house. It did an excellent job. The area it cleaned with each pass was exactly the size of the cleaning head as opposed to the 2-3" with just a nozzle. Do the math. It was also much less effort. I finished in about a fourth the time it normally would have taken and using less water.

Purchased the Sun Joe SPX2000 1740 PSI 1.59 GPM Electric Pressure Washer about a year ago and only found out about the surface attachment(SPX-PCA10) - wish I had purchased this attachment along with the pressure washer, this has been a time saver. It's made of plastic and has it's pros and cons. pro is lightweight and con is it's not sturdy. It has worked very well for me. You have to be really patient and work vertically and slowly move from top to bottom to prevent any circles forming. This has literally cut down the time in half and saved my back since using the wand is much more streneous than this attachment. if you are patient and can work with this, this is really handy.

worked great, just check out the image of before and after

I was skeptical as I watched the videos posted by some other reviewers, but now that I've used this pressure washer attachment, I believe them. Two aspects of this device deserve mention. First, under the green dome is a spinning bar that has a small nozzle at each end, each set within an inch or so of the surface being cleaned. This explains the effectiveness of the cleaning. The second (and surprising) feature is the brush that rims the perimeter. I assumed that the brush helped scrub away dirt, but, in fact, it contributes little to the cleaning. Its function is mainly to prevent water from spraying out from under the green dome. The combination of the spraying arm and the brush makes it unnecessary to push down on the sprayer in an attempt to scrub away dirt. Instead, I quickly realized that it worked most effectively simply by letting the sprayer "float" over the surface and with minimal effort to guide it over the area to be cleaned and allow the sprayers to do the work. One line of discussion among other reviewers is whether standard or random-pattern nozzles can clean an area as quickly as this attachment. After receiving this sprayer, I decided to test it on a small area of driveway. After quickly cleaning 12 sq ft or so, I continued to do the full 12' x 28' concrete pad. Using this device required no more than one-third the time previously required by the use of the standard sprayer nozzle. I'm sure results will vary depending on surface type, type of dirt, etc., but it worked for me. My only suggestion would be to make the nozzle extension 3-4" longer.

This attachment is amazing and a real work saver. Needed to strip some older colored sealant and it did the job. Was a little strange to use at first but once you figure out not to try to scrub with it or press down hard its a snap. All you have to do is walk behind it slowly. I did my wooden deck one board at at time down the center and with the overlap nothing was missed. Just took one pass to strip and clean things up. I then washed off the deck with one of the nozzles on the power washer. The nozzles that come with the power washer will not do the job of this attachment and did not clean my deck like the attachment.

Saw this listed on Amazon while purcashing a SunJoe SPX 3000 washer. Thought what the heck, for $20 how badly could I get hurt? Turns out it would be a good deal at twice the price. Came with the adapter needed to attach it to the SPX 3000 spray gun, and is easily assembled. Yes it is made out of lightweight plastic, but that's a plus. You can use it for hours without getting fatigued and having your arms ache. The fittings and wand are pretty substantial. Quality is such that it should last a long time if it's not abused. Just finished putting this through a pretty good test. Washed a four car driveway, two long concrete and brick walkways, and a set of bluestone steps. They hadn't been done in two years and were in really rough shape. In the past I had used a typical spray nozzle, can't say that this did the job a whole lot faster but it sure made it a whole heck of a lot easier. Job's done and my back and arms aren't aching, that's a first. The best way to use this on rough surfaces is to pull it toward you. Trying to push it just upends the head off the work area. The rim brush really isn't very good for scrubbing. I believe it's there to trap the spray and keep the nozzles from hitting the surface. After you turn on the pressure let the head just sit there for a second or two so a bed of water forms under it. Then you can just glide the head over the surface with no drag and very little effort. This does not effect the cleaning action. There are many YouTube videos to check out about using surface cleaners. Had a couple of folks stop by as I was washing the driveway. They tried it and were amazed at how effortlessly it did the job and wanted to know where to purchase one. The only shortcoming this might have is its wand length. I'm 5'7" and it fits me fine, taller folks might want to buy an extension wand. All in all, a great product at a great price!

I recently bought a Sun Joe SPX3000 and the SPX-PCA10 10" surface cleaning attachment was one of the accessories I got with it. After reading the reviews, my expectations were not high, but after using it to clean a 600 square foot concrete deck and a 2100 square foot driveway, I am very pleased with it. Several people complained that the device was flimsy and light weight. This is true to some degree, but it turns out that light weight is just what you want when you have a large surface to clean. If you've ever cleaned a large surface with a V jet spray, you will know that you have to lift and hold the wand off the surface and, if you want the cleaning to be as uniform as possible, the distance from the spray tip to the surface can't change by much. This puts a lot of strain on your back, arms and upper body. The PCA10 operates completely differently. There are 2 narrow angle jets, one at either end of a rotating tube. The spray reaction force causes the tube to rotate as a fairly high speed. Brushes along the perimeter of the housing allow you to let the head rest on the surface and keep it at a uniform distance. One of the best features of the PCA10 is that you can control it completely with one hand. If you find yourself using 2 hands, let go of the hand that's not on the trigger and find the point where the head balances and you can control the motion with your fingertips. It took me 6.5 hours to wash the 2100 square foot concrete driveway (that's about 19 minutes per 100 square feet). Other than a lot of walking back and forth, there wasn't a lot of strain on my body. There is no need to lean your body or to apply downward pressure on the head. It is a bit boring to spend that much time on a chore, but at least it was not a painful experience. The cleaning done by the head is quite uniform, although the speed at which you can move the head will depend on how much grime you are removing. My driveway is 4 years old and had never been cleaned. It's located in North Florida, and had black mold and well water iron deposits from the irrigation system. With the exception of a few stubborn spots, the head cleaned up everything. I found that the best way for me to do it was to cover each path twice, once to get off the majority of the dirt and the second pass to touch up areas where I had moved the head too fast and left a swirling pattern. The head does seem lightly built and I don't know how long it will last. For the price I have to say it was well worth it, and if I have to replace it after a couple of years, I'll do it in a heartbeat.
