Sturdy, Resealable, Weather Resistant

No more stapling flimsy paper tags to my bags. No more trying (and failing) to seal paper tags in transparent tape. For this last cruise I just printed, folded, and inserted our cabin tags into these heavy duty, resealable, weather-resistant, plastic holders. The braided wire loops kept the tags securely fastened to my luggage despite the sometimes rough handling by the crew. Everyone who saw these tags admired them and asked where they could get them: “Amazon, of course!”

Really liked these. Used them when we took a cruise. I printed out the room labels that were required by royal caribbean and cut them down and attached with ease to our bags. We carried our bags off the ship so we did not need them when we left but the tags held up well and were easy to attach and remove from our bags. I would recommend a duffle style bag that can fold down to fit under your bed. Regular suitcases take up too much space in a confined cabin. We bought inexpensive duffles from target or walmart that had wheels and were very happy with the results.

Work Great for Royal Caribbean!

We cruise a lot so figured they would be a good investment. We originally bought these for a 12-day cruise on Royal Caribbean. The zippered part is durable and snaps shut (as in you can hear it). The metal bands screw in tightly around your luggage handle. After the first cruise they looked brand new. We just got back from a 7-day cruise again on Royal Caribbean and the tags held together again, but this time there was a bit of wear and tear. The metal bands have kinks/bends/corners in them now. They still work just fine, but I hope this doesn't lead to a weakness in the metal or allow them to break. We will keep using these and if they do break, will probably buy another set.

Bought the package of eight. Product size is more than ample to hold a Celebrity tag, folded normally and then in half. The product is a nice thick quality that will probably outlast the luggage. Convenient wire loop and thread locking end, simple to use again and again.

Excellent strong plastic and metal grommet and steel loop to secure to bags! We used these on an April cruise and are re-ordering more for the rest of the family. These fit Royal Caribbean tags perfectly and do not have an imprint in the plastic which looks like it would make the tag hard to read. These are clear strong plastic with a zip closure. Highly recommend this product and North American Traders! Fast shipping and excellent follow-up communication to see if we were satisfied with our purchase. I wasn't sure I needed them but SO glad I went ahead and purchased

I recently received these cruise tag holders for our upcoming Royal Caribbean cruise. I wasn't sure I needed them but SO glad I went ahead and purchased. I was tired of taping and stapling paper tags to our bags, looked so tacky. These are great. The vinyl is thick enough to withstand rough handling, with a ziplock at the top to insert the tag. The ziplock is wonderful, tight hold, and keeps the tags from getting wet or damaged, also you don't have to undo the entire holder to remove or insert the tag. The vinyl is clear, making the tags easy to read. Using my Silhouette vinyl cutter, I personalized each holder with our names. The names adhered great to the vinyl, with no peeling or slipping. I also tied matching ribbon through the grommet, not sure I did that to make them look adorable or so we could easily see our bags in the sea of other suitcases. But, either way that trick helped the metal cable from not slipping through when not screwed together. The metal cable is strong enough to where I don't think it could ever rip off a suitcase handle. The screwing mechanism can be a little tricky in that you do have to align the threads just right for it to catch. I wouldn't screw them on too tight until your ready because its difficult to unscrew, which is a good thing, these tags aren't going nowhere. Overall, these luggage tags were a great purchase and I would highly recommend them. For about a $1.50 per tag, they are well worth the money and the shipping was ultra fast. Plus, no more taped on tags, you look like a seasoned cruiser! Wish I would have found these earlier for our past cruises but now I have them and they are reusable.

Verrry slick improvement to stapled,paper tags.

The standard paper luggage tags you print and staple to your luggage are flimsy and prone to tearing leading to delayed delivery once onboard. These heavy duty zip lock top plastic sleeves accommodate these very same luggage tags except they are safely rucks and zipped inside. They won't get ripped off your luggage handle, drenched in the rain. Metal grommets at the top insure the steel,braided loop will not rip through the plastic. The braided loop screws together and apart allowing reuse of these tags cruise after cruise. Problem solved, leaving your luggage easily identified and hopefully delivered to your room faster.

great way to not lose your luggage from torn off or wet tags

I read other reviews before buying this and was a little worried about how hard it would be to take on and off. I found that as long as you line up the ends correctly, the wire screws together just fine and holds up well. I lent several of these to family I was traveling with and we didn't have any problems putting them on to get on the ship and taking them off at the airport. The plastic is heavy duty and there is a zip at the top to keep the paper dry. For Royal Caribbean, once you trim the printed tags these fit into the pocket well. When leaving the ship, the tags they give you are longer so they can be folded down a little to fit completely in the pocket or you can leave the ends hanging out a little. Both ways worked for different luggage. I highly recommend these for cruise travel. They're much sturdier than stapling folder paper tags on your luggage (getting on the ship) and handy for slipping the tags in that they give you to get off at the end of the cruise. These are more narrow holders so they work for the narrow tags such as Royal Caribbean but not for the fatter ones like Holland America.

Perfect for Royal Caribbean

I purchased this as a last minute add after someone recommended having hard plastic tags. Offered to share with others in my group and was the hit of the party. These are durable and will protect your luggage tag. For those new to cruises, as I was, in advance you may print your luggage tag from home and it is recommended that you do so to save on time, on sail day. These are easy to attach to your luggage. As an ADDED bonus the tag on my zipper broke off my suitcase. I used one of the wires to create a fastener and was able to then easily open and close it once again.

A Must Have for Cruisers!

I ordered these tags for our Royal Caribbean cruise and they were PERFECT! These are a must have for cruisers, especially if you have to fly to your port. It was so easy to put these on our bags the morning of our cruise without having to worry about finding a stapler at the hotel front desk. I also felt secure knowing the tags were protected from the elements and wouldn't accidentally be ripped off in transit. Some members of my family used tag covers that were completely plastic and the plastic looped through itself (sorry, hard to explain). Although those tags did the job, I did see them fall off bags a few times when getting them to porters. These tags are MUCH more sturdy and secure! I'm so glad I purchased these!
