Compact, Lightweight & Feels Well-Made
Wife recently got a laptop for work (MBP). She punches in a lot of numbers & needed something better than the horizontal row running across the top of the keyboard. I chose this product due to the cost, high ratings & the similarity to my traditional desktop keyboard keys. Initial impression: Smaller & lighter than expected. It feels like a quality product but I guess I was thrown off by the size considering my work numeric keypad is built into a fullsize keyboard so it seems larger. Keys are quiet but very good travel. They're spaced well & the shape is good for typing without looking much. In use: When I plugged it into our brand new MBP w/touchbar, a pop-up window didn't recognize it. I was concerned but when we actually used it, all the keys worked fine. I guess the Apple device didn't know exactly how to define what it was but the keys worked so we disregarded the initial warning (I think it happened when I pressed the "numlock" key). My wife says it works great & makes her life much easier at work so that's all that matters. Conclusion: Very inexpensive, small enough to travel well but not undersized for typing. Very quiet with good key travel. Definitely recommended for data entry. Can't speak to any other uses.

Didn't want to spend $100 on overpriced gaming products...so I made my own. Read this.
Want a gaming pad for $10? Need extra keys, not just another keypad? With some tweaks, a couple obscure but free programs, and a little patience and self learning you can edit these keys for flight sims, any game, anything actually. I use different configurations for different applications and running seperate configurations is easy once you get into it. Bear with me, this gets complicated. First, The item itself. It works. I gave it 5 stars because for $10 you get something that works. That's about all, it's nothing fancy. It's not mechanical, and the keys are in a typical layout with the exception of a double 00. I purchased this with the idea of turning it into a really cheap HOTKEY pad, for use with online gaming, as well as multiple programs where hotkeys create a much less time consuming and easier time. Out of the box there is no way to do this. Microsoft registers it as a standard keyboard and will look identical to your keyboard in device manager. You have to figure out which keyboard is which with the HardwareID under device manager, for this product it was the one with "0280&MI_00" You will need some software to make use of this keypad for being anything other than a mirror of your keyboard's keypad. There is next to nothing commonly available for this. Google searches will land you with LUAmacro and Hidmacro, even autohotkeys. LUAmacro works to an extent if you can code a little, but it's not fully capable of doing what I needed. Autohotkeys is great for writing macros, but will not distinguish the keypad as a seperate entity. You need "multi keyboard remapper from 2112design.com From there follow the instructions, which can be a bit vague, I ran into a lot of issues. I needed to download C++ redist from Microsoft to finally get this to work properly. Once you install multi key remapper it's just a matter of running it with whatever custom text config file you want. Creating a .bat file is with a desktop shortcut makes it easy as pie to switch between configurations for different games or apps. It is stackable with autohotkey AFTER you're running the remapper.

Great keypad
I bought a top-quality tenkeyless keyboard to have a great, portable typing experience. But from time to time I need a real keypad. This little guy fits the bill. Has all the features. Nice length of cable. Num lock, 00 key, backspace, and all the functions such as Home and Page Down when Num Lock is off. It's plug and play on every computer I've tried it on. This is a perfect solution. Inexpensive, full-featured, and feels well built. It's fast to type on too. I like it.

It's a NINE DOLLAR keypad. (And great for the price!)
Let's get this straight right off the bat- You are looking at a NINE DOLLAR keypad. If you are looking for something for use every single day and that you're doing majority of your work on, you should be looking for a more expensive, better quality keypad (note: some of the bad reviews). Now, if you're looking for something to help you input faster on those occasions when you're working from home or taking your laptop out of the office, this is PERFECT- especially for the price. I've been using it all week while I've been on a work trip, and it's almost like being on a desktop! As anyone who enters a lot of numbers knows, it's a pain to use the numbers at the top of your laptop if you're trying to go anything other than turtle speed. It's been saving me a ton of time! I've seen some reviews saying it rocks when you hit the 0 or enter, but mine seems to be pretty solid. I almost didn't buy it because of the negative reviews- DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!! Hope this helps :)

USB Numeric Keypad, Jelly Comb N001 Portable Slim Mini Number Pad
The shipping on this product was quick and I set it up on my computer right away which had no trouble recognizing it. The keypad works great for me because I was playing a game on my computer and the small up and down keys were too small for my fingers to work. This keypad works fine and since I am not rough with things, I expect it to last for quite a while. It doesn't slide around, The only thing I did have to do was raise the front up so it was not lying completely flat, but that's just me. The keypad was fine as it was.

Just What I Needed for Tax Time
I purchased this for the sole purpose of doing the family's tax returns. My laptop (Chrombook Pixel LS) doesn't have a full keyboard like some larger laptops, but I really don't require one save for tax time. This plugged right in and worked great. With Chrome OS some of the keys didn't function, but the numbers worked fine, and everything worked as it should when I connected it to my Win 10 Ultrabook. If I had one wish or nit to pick it would be that I wish it could be tilted up in the back, but agian, I use it only a couple hours per year. Neither machine required the installation of drivers to run this device. It was simple plug and play.

Love this numerical keyboard!
Works exactly as I expected! Plugs easily into my laptop and is instantly ready to use. I love my new smaller laptop, very portable when needed, but really missed the numerical keypad. So, this one fits that need when I'm sitting at my desk. It stays put, grips to the table just fine, sits flat, doesn't move around on me and it types very nicely. I'm spend a lot of time at the computer, need the numerical keypad for entering numbers into accounting software, etc. and this is very pleasant to use. Love the larger keys (larger and more defined keys than my former laptop), they make typing numbers a much more streamlined experience. Love the color too! Thank you!

Works for what I bought it for!
I just received my item today. It seems to work great. I bought one prior to this and was wanting to use it with calculator applications on my mac. I am happy to say that this one is working unlike the other one. My only complaint so far is that the "Num Lock" key is not working as num lock, but as a "Clear" button. I don't typically use my 10-key for the arrows, home, etc. so I doubt this will be an issue for me. It will also take some time to get use to the key placement and the presence of a "00" key, but all in all I am fairly pleased so far.

Saved Me Money
When I purchased my laptop, it didn't matter if I had a numeric keypad. However, after using for many numeric projects, I had to do something. I didn't realize usb numeric keypads existed. I didn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for another laptop just so I can have a numeric keypad. While searching on Amazon, tons of options were loaded. I chose this one because the reviews were good. It literally mimics the keyboard on the computer. There is no lag time because it's plugged directly into a USB port on the computer. I'm thankful to have found this product at such an inexpensive price.

Works with Chromebook too!
VERY pleased to find that all primary keys (those not triggered off/on with the key) work fine with my Acer Chromebooks - plugged right into the USB 2.0 port and now am able to easily do numbers entry. It even has a functional "00" key in addition to the regular "0" key. I was not interested in the secondary level of commands (home, page up, page down and end), and didn't expect it to engage them on this operating system. I also used the ship to remote location (here, a QT gas station) and that was super easy and fast - bring your shipping printout with the barcode on it, touch the screen, put the paper to the red lights, and Bingo! - the door pops open with your package looking at you! You get an email that your package was picked up. I'll use this again.
