This is a very nice simple device for directing and amplifying the light from any bulb you choose to use. My wife has it currently directed, with a grow lamp bulb, at her plants that sit on her kitchen counter in the window. She has a lot of plants and she says this is helping them to thrive.

These Lights are fabulous, light weight, adjust to any angle needed! Oh and are a really great price! I bought 3 and could not be more pleased. The clamps are good and strong ! I use them in the garage for working on wood projects and in the house to light for photography. Multi purpose gems! Highly Recommend!

I purchased this lamp to use on my indoor plants, since we don't get much natural light in the house. We spray painted the outside so that it was a little more fashion forward. I also purchased a grow light to use with it and it works great. The clamp was an amazing plus because we were able to hang it from the ceiling. I have absolutely no complaints and plan on purchasing more!

Works perfectly to hold my grow light in place! Clamps in place adjustably on the edge of the planter so I can move it around daily. I love that you can also adjust the neck's inclination angle. I'd buy it again!

Works wonderfully to reflect the light from the Led Grow light Bulb, 60W Full Spectrum Grow lights E26 that I had purchased with it. My Orchid Cactus plant is reaching towards the light and this lamp enlarged the field of light provided onto my plants and seedlings. When I took it out the box it was dent free and shine. My 12 year old daughter was able to easy clamp it onto my curtain rod in our living room. We just turned the wing nut (aka butterfly nut) until it was tight enough to keep the lamp shade in place aimed at my plants, plugged it in, and turned it on. A truly simple installation! I am very pleased with this lamp.

Very good for a $8 or $9 dollar light fixture. I was especially impressed with the clamp -- it is very strong and it is made out of rubber so it is less likely to scratch or damage whatever object you might clamp it to. My dad commented that this clamp light fixture is also a very convenient way to move a light around -- and I would say he is right. This fixture seems to be a great choice for a portable light source. (Certainly easier than trying to move an entire lamp around). You might need to use an extension cord with this lamp as the cord it comes with is only six feet long. (This lamp fixture does *not* include a light bulb). My dad is currently using this with his "TaoTronics LED Grow Lights Bulb" for indoor plants -- this clamp light fixture fits the TaoTronics bulb just fine.

I bought my first simple deluxe clamp lamp light ul to for extra light when I paint. My studio has no natural light and this lamp was the perfect solution for that. I clamp it on to the easel and direct the beam at the painting. Then I started recording myself for my vlog, but I had the same problem of there being no natural light. So, I tried the clamp light. It worked just fine, but due to the lighting situation I found that I needed light to come from two different angles so I bought a second one. It completely solved the lighting issue for me. I can capture any image now when I record and it is clear and sharp. I have also used these lamps for a number of other lighting tasks. The cords are long enough to handle most situations. I lost one of the lights and, instead of looking for a different brand, I am going to replace it with the same light from the same brand.

This thing does the job! This is neither a luxury nor heavy-duty reflector, but I can't expect more for the price and the design purpose. The reflector is made of an alloy that (is weak but) can disperse the heat very well. There are holes to let the hot air out as well. The switch works great, and the clamp is strong enough to hold the (light) weight of the head.

During my extensive research of trying to figure out why I was having trouble with my 3D printer, I came across a video of a gentleman using a heat radiating lamp to control the ambient temperature of his 3D printer. I picked this up since it wasn't expensive and clamped it to the side of my printer. It actually works! My printer is running right now and this lamp is keeping the part I'm printing adhered to the build plate and is preventing layer separation. I started with a common 40 watt light bulb, thinking that if the lamp didn't output adequate heat I could use a higher wattage bulb, but I don't think it's necessary, this lamp is very effective with just the 40 watt bulb! I should have bought this back when I first bought my 3D printer. But, better late than never, eh?

This is a perfect lamp - does the job. I needed a lamp for an LED daylight bulb to use in my art studio. I clamped it to a bookcase and angled it down. The cord is a little short but I just used an extension cord. I was looking into very expensive lights for art studios but so glad that I found this - perfect and inexpensive solution! TIP for Artists - I used a Sunlite LED bulb / Cool White / PAR30 / Long Neck Reflector / 13.5 Watt (replaces a 75W) / 750 Lumens I tried a few and that gives me the perfect light to see the true colors of paints like in daylight.
